Description

Hidden for Christmas in July 2017

Cache is not at the posted co ordinates. Hidden in bush land close to Nanango. Be careful where you walk as the grass may be long at times and in warmer weather be wary of snakes. Remember geocachingtoolbox is your friend.

The puzzle may take some thinking about if you have not done many puzzles before and if you have this one should not tax you that much. Your fingers will assist in deciphering this one.

2nd day of a 5 day trip around south-east Queensland with LuckyL10n and today we were in Nanango to grab a few more of the local offerings. All up my 3rd trip to this area, but there are few cachers to grab. We encountered wild weather in Brisbane yesterday, however today started with very little rain and no wind...thankfully.

Pulled up close to GZ and once and started the search and it was long and the cache was in hand. Log was signed, cache replaced and we then off to the next one.

Thanks again Tadpole3, cache all good.

#GA3493 - 08:50; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. Also enjoyed solving the puzzles, even though there was plenty of head scratching and later on forehead slapping along the way! Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC tadpole3 Very HappyClan Cerberus

Not far from Nanango and the drive out is pleasant. Watch out for traffic and please park safew off road as the local who live out this way tend to take the road for granted as there is not much traffic on it. I had to drive past and come back as there were two locals parked close by having a chin wag and as they were both wearing hats and driving 4WD's i thought they could be awhile. Yes had to drive past again and came back later in the day. All good to take the short walk through that stuff. TFTC tadpole3. Very Happy
