Description

A reserve with many walking trails that is quite easy to walk, an area that is used by people riding horses.

Rossmore Grange is the largest area of community land in the Liverpool local government area. The 81-hectare area contains 4 vegetation communities that are listed as endangered ecological communities. Rossmore Grange is an important area of passive recreation for the community. It is recognised as a place of Aboriginal significance.

There is a good place to park at S 33º 55.702’           E 150º 45.703’

Please Note that the parking area gates are closed at night time, please read the times on gate. If gate is closed park near entrance gate & walk in from here to information boards.

The cache area that I have picked has a dam & is fed by rain run off – so when it is full as it is now it has many different types of bird life visiting.

A pair of gloves will help when looking, always be aware of “snakes & spiders” in the bush and have fun.

Please Note there is many snakes in this park – I have seen many coming here in the past doing cache maintenance on my GC caches in this park.

You will need to bring pen / pencil is supplied in log container.

This one proved to be more elusive than expected, eventualy stumbled across it in the open a short distance from the coords and the obvious hiding spot. Strangely the log was missing although everything else seemed to be intact!
Thomo31 provided a couple pages to replace the log, the plastic bag (empty) was still in the container so all is well.
Cache replace at the coords and is back where it belong. Thanks for the cache.

#GA2968 - 13:18; Day 2 of a big bonus caching adventure in the Blue Mountains with Sol de lune. After a quiet night in Katoomba, we are heading back down the mountain for home. After a stops in Springwood, Glenbrook and Lapstone, where we did some serious bush bashing, we we back on the flat and after a short tour of Penrith we heading south for the highway when we stopped off at this reserve for a couple on our way out of town. Parked the geomobile and headed off for GZ and a nice quick find and sign on the way back from the other nearby cache. TFTC HansJJ Very HappyClan Cerberus

Surprised to be just the 2nd finder after so many months. Oddly, although the cache was covered, the lid was undone but the contents were perfectly clean and dry. Thanks HansJJ.
