Found It!
A nice little puzzle/multi that I quickly solved. Then a quick find after climbing up to GZ! Interesting little spot and drive!

Staying in Adelaide for a week we have been focusing on finding some GCA caches and this was one of them. Have driven around the outskirts of Adelaide on previous visits to SA so nice to stop this time and let geocaching be our guide. Easy find once at GZ, cache and contents are in good condition. Thanks Four-Fun for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment - we enjoyed the journey to this cache, finding the information required to complete this straightforward mystery cache

Planning for this trip began in June - we knew we would be heading to Adelaide but which way would we go? This depended on our targets. We looked at our list of unclaimed Dragon Zone trophies and picked out several that we could feasibly collect the required number of finds to qualify for the trophy. We then had to identify caches that would meet our targets and from here it was time to plan a route that would take us past the caches we had identified. Any caches too far off our route were discarded and replaced by suitable alternatives.

All was running smoothly until the Christmas in July game was announced. We would be travelling in the latter part of the game. It was difficult to include this in our target caches as we did not know what was required. Once the game began and we understood what we needed to do we could then add other caches to the target list.

We were just getting our heads, yes all four of them, around this when more Dragon Zone trophies were added. Which ones could we meet and which should we ignore? Do we need to add more GA caches and/or do we need to change our route and our targets? We decided on our target list and then our route and timeline. We had just drawn a line under everything and were about to begin printing our caching booklets, route maps and target lists when caught@work published 23 new caches on the Western Ring Path. Earlier we had decided on the caches in the Edgewater Walk series. If we added the new ones on the Western Ring Path and as many of the CCC series as possible, we could probably reach the required number of caches to qualify for the Dragon Zone trophies “Restraining Order Stalker” (Find 100 DZ caches hidden by the same cacher) and “Obsession!=Insanity” (find 50 DZ caches in a day). As the latter would give us our first Blaze Trophy, it was decided to alter everything to include the CCC series.Four Fun, in South Australia published five puzzle caches that would bring good points in the Christmas in July game. Can we solve the puzzles? A few more adjustments to the route and the caches to find list and we would be off.

Having successfully completed our Melbourne challenges and gained our first Blaize Dragon Zone trophy it was time to focus on the Christmas in July game and start on the Kenneth Stirling Conservation Park puzzle caches recently published by Four-Fun. This was the final puzzle cache we tackled today.

As we approached the turn into Merchants Road we found oour way blocked by several large trucks and what appeared to be road mending machinery. We first though we would not be able to get through but one of the workman guided us around the equipment and we were able to proceed. It didn't take long to reach the first information board where we collected some of the information we needed then it was off further down the road to collect the final pieces. We found the information boards very interesting and informative.

Calculations completed we headed to GZ. One of the team said up there and the other said it looks like you're going so Mrs y'stassie put on her billy goat feet yet again and headed upwards. She coulg see where previous visitors to this area had slid as they made their way up and down so she took a slightly longer circuitous rout and as she walked by spotted the very good hide - visible only to a geocacher. Sure enough, on closer inspection, she found the well hidden cache container. Cache and contents were in very good condition and should last well. After signing the log and returning the cache as it was found it was time to make the return journey. Even though the material underfoot was unstable she made ground level without mishap. The view from GZ was amazing. Many photos were taken.

Thanks for the puzzle and cache Four-Fun and for bringing us to this lovely area. The scenery along the creek and at GZ was beautiful. We appreciate the effort you have put into this and the other four caches we found today. These caches should last for many years to come. Thanks also for a cache that will give us good points for a Christmas in July claim.

What better way to spend a Saturday than a water-side supper with riparian entertainments. Except we didn't bring any food, but there was entertainments of sorts near the final location. It seems a team of locals were having a working bee down in the river, but they were just out of eye-shot from where the cache was.

The terrain near GZ was fairly dodgy today, being soaking wet and very slippery. I was worried that I'd take a spill down the slope, but all was good, and I eventually found the well hidden cache. Another clean log book greeted us, and we were on our way again.

Thanks four-fun.
