Description
This is moving cache with a difference. It will not be at the posted coordinates.
A homage to the fun cache GA2945 Hot Potato by gd___ which was archived in 2014
Instead of hiding the cache for anybody else to find, you need to pass the cache to another cacher directly. This can be with their knowledge (i.e. hand it to them at an event or if you meet them in the wild) or for more fun without their knowledge (i.e. place it in their caching bag or car while they are not looking if you have access).
When you receive the cache you should post a found log (or a note if you don’t want the smiley) with the co-ords of the place you are at when you received it.
When you pass on the cache, post a moved log with the co-ords of the place you were at when you passed it on and the team you passed it on to. (you can then see how far it travels before the recipient discovers they have it.
You cannot give it back to the cacher that gave it to you.

Enjoy the scenery driving back down!

thanks for the cache.
I'll have to find some poor sap to pass this off to.
Its presence is now known
Nice idea for a cache, thanks The Morris
Cheers OldSaint
I had tried to find the initial version of this cache while it was supposedly in Riverside; where it eventually disappeared
Not understanding that it was to be moved from one cacher to another back then, I spent about 30 or so minutes looking for a cache that was not there
However, this cache was found a lot quicker and with some surprise
A quick find whilst on the move

So pleased to see this resurface.
It will be moved very soon to an area where it will see a lot more interaction.
An update will be posted within 28 days….
The hot potato has hitched a ride with Harry...
A parting gift from n0w0rries, discovered when I was rifling through my backpack for a snack after our hike up Gentle Annie.
Cheeky.

I found this in my bag one day.
Finally getting around to logging it at a CybergranV event in Jackass Flat.
A fantastic night of socialising.
This hot potato has been in my hands on two occasions now and I was very keen to pass it on, this time to someone who would definitely do the right thing and move it along, according to the enclosed instructions.
Have fun with it Rod
As a result, this Hot Potato is now, Very Temporarily, in my possession until it returns to the place which it emanated from some time ago before ending up in Melbourne
I grabbed it from a spot near Melbourne where it had been resting and it also visited Ballarat and Creswick in its travels prior to being returned to Shepparton where it will be dropped shortly.
It was a fun arvo. Pity we nearly ran out of petrol so had to call it a day, return to the house, and try to solve some geo puzzles.
It was a great day, and I enjoyed her company.
At some time during her visit, this cache managed to conceal itself in her caching bag. I wonder how long it will be before she discovers it, and who will be the next lucky recipient?
I'm impatiently waiting for the next exciting instalment
I can't wait to sneakily plant it in another GA cachers belongings, and see how long it takes for them to discover it.
For me it took 4 hours and it had travelled 118k.
I shall swap some of the Swag as a surprise for the next lucky finder.
Thank you so much, full points for innovation and the happiness which flowed out of it, and created much hilarity between us.
I only managed to sneak the hot potato into CybergranV's bag when we got back to Shepparton.
The hot potato was handed to me by the CO at the CO's event today "Mingle With The Morris" @ GZ making pick up coords-
