There are a couple or more mystery caches around the place that I still had to find and this was one of them, the adjusted co-ordinates are spot on and the cache is in fantastic condition considering how long it has been sitting unattended. I had no idea where my GPS was sending me and I just seemed to follow it blindly hoping that I wasn't going to be sent off an edge or something, but all good, log signed and on to the next one! Thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers.

This was my closest unsolved geocache which is one of the challenges for the latest geocache game coinciding with the Commonwealth Games. I “solved “ it some time ago and went looking yesterday but it didn’t seem quite right. When I was unsuccessful I looked at the puzzle again and realised I had made a major error and so back to the drawing board. Today I went out with a new set of coordinates into a place I was getting to know quite well. In no time at all I had the cache in hand. I am beginning to wonder how many other caches are nearby but I don’t have time today to look for any other caches. TFTC and puzzle

Back in the area caching to try to take advantage of the x5 points during the Commonwealth Games. Got one of the kidlets who loves doing sudoku to help solving this one and when the coordinates were confirmed we realised we would be revisiting the same general area we'd been in just a couple of days ago but at least we knew the lay of the land by this time. TFTC and the puzzle
Found this cache while in Launceston
It was a hard days walking - Up hill and down dale - with much scurb bashing

Hi Trekkers
Enjoyed doing this puzzle - the X rows were a challenge, but fun!
We were in the middle of finding a heap of GA caches when we left those in order to find GC7HF5T "Where Eagles Eyrie"
We walked down the hill to that cache after finding "The 3P's"
But, we should have reversed the order so that we found all the GAs above us before descending the hill and then having to ascend it again for the rest of the GAs; if that makes sense; so we climbed the hill twice - our legs hate us doubly as much now
Sainted the cache with a quick find at 1543 hours
TFTC and cheers

While up North for a few days for family commitments (a 90th birthday) a few caches were found and this was one of them. We enjoyed solving the puzzles (this puzzle was a bit extreme and took a while!) as they were published during the summer games, so it is now nice to be able to log the ones we were unable to complete during the games. A nice large, well stocked cache. TFTP

This puzzle wasn't as straightforward as I had hoped, getting myself stuck a few times as I worked through it. No getting stuck at GZ though as we found and signed it easily enough. Now we will head up rather than further around at this level. We're getting through them, thanks Tassie Trekkers
A comment to stainless steel rat on Thursday night turned into a plan rather quickly over the following 24 hours. After a later than expected Friday night I dragged myself out of bed while the clock still started with a 5, Urgh!
My first stop was the Rats Nest to pick up stainless steel rat and after loading his things in the car we departed at 6.05am. Our first stop was Mood Food for coffee and to find some lunch to throw in the esky for later, followed by a much needed stop at the train park in Perth (to offload the coffee), then it was on to the house of TazScout for another round of coffee.
We spent the whole day caching in various parts of Trevallyn Reserve and then picked up a few other caches as we left there late in the day. We found traditional caches, puzzle caches, a trig point, some moveable caches, a pod cache, a reverse cache, a beacon cache, a gadget cache, a night cache and a multi-cache. We also found a cache of EVERY terrain type from an easy T1 right through to a ‘fun’ T5.
After a late dinner in town, we returned back south with a couple of fresh air stops on the way. After dropping stainless steel rat back at his nest, I arrived home at 11.45pm absolutely exhausted.

Another sizeable cache today in fact I think all bar two have been regular or large today, with Goose of GooseandEgg, cache in good order, thanks.
This trip was a spur of the moment thing only first dreamed up on Thursday night, GooseandEgg wanted to clean up a few new caches in the North so with the weather looking good for today we left home at 6am and got back home at 11:30pm. Thanks for great day out.

We enjoyed solving this Sudoku with a twist. After a few false starts we realised we had omitted a little piece of extra info which made solving easier. Always enjoy a good Sudoku.
With coordinates confirmed by the checker it was time to see if we could locate this one.
As usual the COs coordinates were spot on and we soon had another large, well stocked container in our hands. As we signed the blank log - a third {FTF} at 10:05 - a cloud of brown butterflies alighted on the vegetation around us. Sadly they had fluttered off before we could get the camera out. This area was heavily populated with butterflies this morning.
Thanks for an enjoyable puzzle and another good points scoring cache Tassie Trekkers. Your caches are certainly enabling Tasmanian cachers to add good scavenge points to the Tassie total.
