Kermit the frog would love to move around and visit as many places as possibke.
I found Kermit on the side of the gutter where home owners were having clean up, he didn't need to go to the dump to be squashed, he wants to get out and travel, lets see where he goes in Australia..

Admin review only - movable seems to be still in location and ready to be found again...cache on.
Today as I travelled South I found a bunch of moveables at Uralla. I left a few and took a few and only logged ones I haven't found before.
I'm not sure where they'll all end up. I've got a few Kms to travel this week, so we'll see.
This one is still at the listed coords.

This is a frog with special needs.. like a big dry hide. Luckily we know a place. Dropped off with some buddies.
Woah... it's a big one! Picked up from Tassie Trekkers while at the Rutherglen Mega. It's been a while since our last moveable find. TFTM Nana Nel.

I discovered this moveable cache at the GCA event in Rutherglen on the 7/4/23. Another Geocacher has taken it from GZ and will move it along shortly.
The Rutherglen Mega – Easter 2023
This was another a-MAZE-ing Mega, hosted by Geocaching Victoria. Thanks so much, for bringing me here and for the enjoyment it has brought me over the weekend.
Day #1 [6/4] – After a massive day of work, I headed off to my overnight stop in Culcairn. Along the way, I stopped off at an AL waypoint, in Henty. My only find of the day. Now time for some sleep and get ready for arriving at the Mega tomorrow.
Day #2 [7/4] – Its Mega day! I started off the day by finding a cache across the road of my motel in Culcairn, before getting breakfast. After breakfast I headed out of town and I arrived at the Rutherglen showgrounds at 9am. I was pleased to check in and sign the attendance book. I caught up with many people and I also found the lab caches. During the gaps of the Mega fun and during the non-raining times, I headed out to find as many caches as I could. I found the letterbox caches, attended the 3 events [2 GC and 1 GA] and found a couple of caches around the area. While at the GA event many moveable caches were discovered and signed. After the dinner event at the end of the day, I went did some bush bashing in the dark of the night to find a 2006 cache. I made sure I found it, as it fulfils part of a self-imposed challenge. Now, time to head to the motel and head to bed, so I’m ready for my last day tomorrow.
Day #3 [8/4] – My final day. Anyway, I still have much planned which included finding the bike trail caches, finishing the Solar System series and finding a couple of multi-caches. Also, on the way home, I decided on avenging a DNF. But before that, I started the day with breakfast at Macca’s. Next I found a couple more labs, some of which I missed yesterday. After a phone call, my bike riding buddy (Joelisa) was running late. This meant I could find the rest of the Solar System Series and a couple of others. I arrived at the starting point of the bike trail and was greeted by Ms Maddy who was getting ready for the bike ride. While we were getting ready If and Joelisa arrived and we decided on heading off and doing it together. The caches along the bike trail were signed as **8/4/23 JIMM**. The group consisted of Joelisa [J], If [I], Ms Maddy [M] and Myself - JohnoMawbs [M for Mawbs]. We did most of the trail along the way to Wahgunyah, found a couple of other caches, had lunch and for the return trip, found the five we missed for the return trip to Rutherglen. Then we went our separate ways. I headed off to meet up with The Drovers before leaving. I found two caches along the way home. The second of the two, I avenged a DNF. Now time to get home as I have a very busy day tomorrow.
I will need to return at some point, so I can complete the ‘bird’ mystery cache power trail at some point. Also all the new multi-caches which have just been published. So, these caches have been put on my, to do list. In other words, I’LL BE BACK.
TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found this weekend and for allowing them to bring me and the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE’s and TFTC’s

Swapped these movables with andrewbt and lay a few out today along the evening walk to a new GC Multi, which most cachers will not have done. So come and collect some moveables along the way.
Collected and moved away from the bunch of caches that have the same GZ. *they are still with last me*
A quick grab on the way to work today at a familiar spot. Not too much traffic so a quick grab.

Sorry Nana Nel, this cache is no longer here. It was picked up back in early December. Disappointing to come to find a cache and then find it was picked up four months ago, but the promised quick release has not happened . Hoarded.
We grabbed these moveables from their hidey hole, and will put them out again soon.
Thanks !

Dropped off here but has already moved on.
Is there any chance these and the others that left the state on 13 September can be moved to Qld and logged as a move prior to their pick up by another cacher, as still showing as being in Tasmania?
I was happy to see this move able cache in a small collection during the Queensland Outback Geomuster In Blackall 2019.
Thanks

A quick flit through town to drop off some moveable caches. Near where this one is hidden we spotted part of an impressive snake skin that had been left behind by it's previous owner, this means he or she is still in the area somewhere so be careful you don't find it by accident, also snakes eat frogs so don't leave this little guy out in the open for too long
Arrived home this afternoon to find a cute little fellow sitting about wanting some company so brought him in out of the heat and cooled him down. Not sure where we can put this little guy to keep him healthy, will have to give it some thought! TFTC
As Kermit is not suited to being exposed to the elements we left him where he was protected from the weather.
Discovered after a lovely evening meal with 2y’stassies.
He wanted to travel to the mainland with us tomorrow, but unfortunately he wouldn’t fit in our luggage.
Thanks for the opportunity of discovering this lovely moveable.
I’m glad you rescued him to give him a new lease of life.

Mrs Y'stassie had noticed a small moveable stranger had arrived at a beach near us so changed her evening walk track to west beach. As she headed down the track to the beach she met a muggle friend and her family packing up to go home. They were interested in what she was doing so accompanied her for the short walk." We are looking for a small frog on top of one of the bushes", she tells them. "It cant be this", says one of the muggles holding up a large soft Kermit. "This one is big".
On closer inspection we notice the GA number. It certainly was Kermit the moveable cache - a little damp and salty but very happy to see us. After a chat with the muggles Mrs Y'stassie headed home with Kermit.
As a sea fog is rolling in we will keep him over night before finding a safe place to leave him for his next move.

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

What a great way to start the new year with a meet the movables event that saw 75 moveable caches and 10 geocacher caches in attendance. All was laid out so one could walk around the tables to sign each and every log before a swap occured to send them away again in a new direction.
