Description
Another dinosaur entry in the Geocaching Australia 2018 Spring Racing Carnival Dinosaur race.
Remember to move the dinosaur's on quickly. A quick move is a good move.
Just FYI - The Wiki link to the Koutalisaurus- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koutalisaurus
Rules of the game
- Your Dinosaur Racer must be a genuine, bone fide dinosaur. It may be store bought or hand crafted. We recomend you clearly mark your GAnnnnn code on your Dinosaur Racer to distinguish it from 100 other identical Dinosaur Racers.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 September 2018 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your Dinosaur Racer on 1 September 2018. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own Dinosaur Racer during the game period.
- Dinosaur Racers must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the Dinosaur Racer to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the Dinosaur Racer provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 7 days and you were not the last geocacher to find or move it then the "rule of two other finds / moves" does not apply and you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 14 days, even if you were the last geocacher to find or move it then you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If a geocacher moves your Dinosaur Racer overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the Dinosaur Racer mover may move your Dinosaur Racer back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the Dinosaur Racer.

Found in Perth, wonderful Western Australia.
Now in my safe hands; will be moved on soon.
What a pleasant surprise to have this little dinosaur amongst others delivered by friendly geocacher family from Blue Mountains NSW. Trust they will have quality time together whilst here on vacation.

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Found this one at the Meet the Moveables (NSW Edition) event held at Tizzana Winery in Ebenezer. A fantastic turnout at the event run for the current 2018/19 Journey or Destination game being run on Geocaching Australia which saw a total of 75 moveables come together. Thanks for sharing.

What a great way to start the new year with a meet the movables event that saw 75 moveable caches and 10 geocacher caches in attendance. All was laid out so one could walk around the tables to sign each and every log before a swap occured to send them away again in a new direction.

Found amongst the large collection of visiting dinos at the Sydney Dinosaur Meeting in Bankstown. Travel on Koutalisaurus!
Hidden behind a rock next to the pipeline, maybe you should also try the "Climbers, your time starts now" cache!
I was happy to see this moveable cache in the hands of another cache before it and many others head south.
Thanks

Headed out this way early this morning to see about finding some of my racers that were in a group lurking around. A big bunch of moveables here, glad I could get my hands on them.
Will move on separately, shortly....probably to Melbourne one day next week.

Moved to new location. Lots of fun here!
I was logging a dinosaur cache that I grabbed from Fitzy_65 and noticed a whole lot of dinosaur moveables in a new game Spring Caching Carnival and there was a moveable just 1km from my home. It was 9.20pm and I was about to crash for the night so decided to get put my trackies on over my pj's and take Koda the geohound for a quick walk to retrieve. The batteries had died on my Montana so had to rely on a snapshot of the location on my phone to get me as close to location and then use my torch to search. I got to 2m away shone the torn around and spotted something unusual, quite large and thought it must be a big one. To my surprise it was a tub full of moveables, so I was quite happy to grab and find them all a new home. tftc Sol De Lune

Still a few people that need to find this around here!
Back out in company with a burgeoning batch of dinosaurs and a gegnome.....!
#GA 3122 - 11:35; I had collected my quota of GC caches for today and after grabbing a stash of GCA moveables on the way out, I stopped off to grab a couple more on my way back along Coppins Crossing Road, including this one. I'm not sure how many there are in this series, but I have to be making some inroads by now Good luck in the race. TFTD Sol de lune
