Description
Brontosaurus L10n - Dinosaur Racer
A member of the LuckyL10n dinosaur dynasty for the Spring Caching Carnival, a game where geocaching Dinosaur Racers will race around the world accumulating finds, moves and distance in order for their owner (LuckyL10n) to be crowned King or Queen of the Spring Caching Carnival.
The game requires a moving geocache to be hidden on Geocaching Australia on the 1st of September 2018 and then the owners can sit back and watch as their Dinosaur Racer travels Australia and the world. You can also help other Dinosaur Racers by finding and moving them along at Geocaching Australia.
Rules of the game
- The Dinosaur Racer must be a genuine, bone fide dinosaur. It may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 September 2018 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your Dinosaur Racer on 1 September 2018. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own Dinosaur Racer during the game period.
- Dinosaur Racers must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the Dinosaur Racer to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the Dinosaur Racer provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 7 days and you were not the last geocacher to find or move it then the "rule of two other finds / moves" does not apply and you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 14 days, even if you were the last geocacher to find or move it then you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If a geocacher moves your Dinosaur Racer overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the Dinosaur Racer mover may move your Dinosaur Racer back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the Dinosaur Racer.

picked this one up to continue its travels on our Gundagai trip.
02/02/2020 Souvenir Day Trip!
Umm… what area can I attack this time because I’m very quickly running out of caches to find. After taking a look at the map, I decided on finding the caches between Gundagai and Yass along the Hume HWY. Yes, HWY driving can be quite boring but when the trip is broken up to find caches it makes it a lot more FUN. I also needed five finds for the GCA 2020 February challenge. A few history lessons, unique locations and many different types of hides made the day very enjoyable. The GCA moveable caches I found today have been moved to the above coordinates ready for the next finder. I ended up with 16 finds for the day which is made up of 10 GC and 6 GCA finds. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s

A Sunday drive out to Junee with Just a cacher and dropped in on this on as we passed by.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Went for a long drive with Black Bunny, and we found a few of these movables, although we didn't move them.
Cache is now with me and will be relocated shortly. Nice to see a few more moveables.
Thanks for the cache....
Thanks for the cache....
Saw that someone had left these poor little defenseless creatures out in the bush in the dark, so we dashed off on a rescue mission. We will give them some counselling, and what medical aid they require, before releasing them into a more salubrious district.
Out for a night drive with Just a cacher and collected this lot to take south to Canberra.
One of twenty five at this location. All in a bag so find first then head over to the others.
Thanks to Roger for this cache of moveables. I'll hide them in Wingello SF within the week.

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

I was going past anyway so stopped to check if this little racer was here near Corowa, but no, he has been moved on.
Where to, I wonder.
Where to, I wonder.
Whilst on a trip down to the Murray River near Corowa I found a good spot to drop this collection movables, but I see they did not stay long as they have already been collected.
Thanks
Albida.

Albida.
After a long day out and about I was given a heads up that another batch of movables had been put back in play. I headed out after dark and was happy to find them still in place. I have taken them this time and will move them on soon.

Late night at work, dropped off at 1:45ish. Apologies to all that get this notification email first thing on a Sunday morning
Out and about on tour in the National Capital
#GA3222 - 13:00; Collected this little chap and a few of his mates from Sol de lune after attending a GC event at Gold Creek. Looks like he's found his way home! Must have been a bit homesick? Anyway, he'll be back out and about soon with a bunch of mates I'm sure

I headed out for a short morning trip to collect as many of the remaining dinosaurs and other movable caches that are still around Belconnen. The Final spot was a bit mixed with five listed not being present and five other listed caches found in place.
Thanks
Albida.

Headed out to drop off a couple of moveables and then once at home, noticed that a couple of new ones had appeared here as well. So back in the car and down the road a little and soon had this one, along with another one, in hand.

Joined a dino party in the Jurassic Park of long sleepers.
Rescued this one. It had escaped and was well down the hill from its hole, heading for the river.

Found what appeared to be a nest but on further investigation appears to be an invasion party.
Going to try to make their job a little bit harder by trying to split them up.
Signed the log and move on to a new hide a bit later. Thanks for the moveable Hansjj
