Picked this little one up today for the GeosportZ game, as he was sitting at sea level. I have moved him along and will log a moved shortly.

Two mini dinosaurs liked the idea of an early morning walk. Attracted to the bush and its space they were last seen diving into a pile of forest litter in the fork of a tree. Here they wait for the next caching team.

We attended a CITO this morning in Penguin and as a bonus we were able to pick up some moveable caches that we hadn't seen before. Always good to meet new moveables and help them on their journey. We'll get them back out again as soon as possible. Thank you for the cache

I discovered this moveable cache at the GCA event in Rutherglen on the 7/4/23. Another Geocacher has taken it from GZ and will move it along shortly.

The Rutherglen Mega – Easter 2023
This was another a-MAZE-ing Mega, hosted by Geocaching Victoria. Thanks so much, for bringing me here and for the enjoyment it has brought me over the weekend.
Day #1 [6/4] – After a massive day of work, I headed off to my overnight stop in Culcairn. Along the way, I stopped off at an AL waypoint, in Henty. My only find of the day. Now time for some sleep and get ready for arriving at the Mega tomorrow.
Day #2 [7/4] – Its Mega day! I started off the day by finding a cache across the road of my motel in Culcairn, before getting breakfast. After breakfast I headed out of town and I arrived at the Rutherglen showgrounds at 9am. I was pleased to check in and sign the attendance book. I caught up with many people and I also found the lab caches. During the gaps of the Mega fun and during the non-raining times, I headed out to find as many caches as I could. I found the letterbox caches, attended the 3 events [2 GC and 1 GA] and found a couple of caches around the area. While at the GA event many moveable caches were discovered and signed. After the dinner event at the end of the day, I went did some bush bashing in the dark of the night to find a 2006 cache. I made sure I found it, as it fulfils part of a self-imposed challenge. Now, time to head to the motel and head to bed, so I’m ready for my last day tomorrow.
Day #3 [8/4] – My final day. Anyway, I still have much planned which included finding the bike trail caches, finishing the Solar System series and finding a couple of multi-caches. Also, on the way home, I decided on avenging a DNF. But before that, I started the day with breakfast at Macca’s. Next I found a couple more labs, some of which I missed yesterday. After a phone call, my bike riding buddy (Joelisa) was running late. This meant I could find the rest of the Solar System Series and a couple of others. I arrived at the starting point of the bike trail and was greeted by Ms Maddy who was getting ready for the bike ride. While we were getting ready If and Joelisa arrived and we decided on heading off and doing it together. The caches along the bike trail were signed as **8/4/23 JIMM**. The group consisted of Joelisa [J], If [I], Ms Maddy [M] and Myself - JohnoMawbs [M for Mawbs]. We did most of the trail along the way to Wahgunyah, found a couple of other caches, had lunch and for the return trip, found the five we missed for the return trip to Rutherglen. Then we went our separate ways. I headed off to meet up with The Drovers before leaving. I found two caches along the way home. The second of the two, I avenged a DNF. Now time to get home as I have a very busy day tomorrow.
I will need to return at some point, so I can complete the ‘bird’ mystery cache power trail at some point. Also all the new multi-caches which have just been published. So, these caches have been put on my, to do list. In other words, I’LL BE BACK.

Hanging out with a mate south of the border!

Saw a bunch of moveables land and set out for the find. I was joined by Sol de lune as I closed in on GZ and we soon collected the spoils, including little Allo who is headed further south soon. TFTC Zalgariath

On the long way back to Canberra with Black Bunny after visiting family in South Australia for Christmas and we decided to grab a cache or two as we passed by.

This was one of the moveables we picked up and hoped to leave in Adelaide. However Covid-19 put an end to plans and we sadly left the state to head home before all borders were closed. Dropped off the moveables on the way.

Took a collection of moveable caches to the leap day event in Ulverstone, they'll soon be making a voyage to the big island to our north

We needed a find today to fill a gap on our dragon zone calendar so after a family gathering we headed up to the Trevallyn Reserve to rehide some moveable caches and see if we could find any of the others recently moved to the area. Managed to get a haul of ten and will move them towards the north west of the state as soon as possible. TFTC

A day out for double points started on the Paradise Peninsula, Sandford then down to Tasman Peninsula and off to the middle of Tasmania to Tunbridge, (well almost) and back to Oatlands for tea with muggle Mum and Tassie Trekkers. That was foiled due to everything being shut on the public holiday. Had to resort to a monte carlo biscuit and thermos coffee! Good to catch up with family and swap some moveables. Now headed North.

A chance encounter with the last finder led to finding this moveable. TFTM

Following these finds it was off to a mates place for a visit

Come and visit a quiet country town and pick up some moveable caches. There's a very popular pub/brewery and a specialist pie shop, too.

Found, along with a few others, in a spot I walk past at least a couple of times every day.
My thanks to Sharnie's Tribe for dropping them so close to home.

Out and about caching in the Echuca area and found a safe place to leave some of the moveable caches that have been travelling with us. They're ready to continue their journey

Found with a group of other moveable caches during a catchup with a couple of other teams. We compared notes about recent trips and upcoming ones and exchanged ideas about caching experiences. As we are about to head off to the big island some of these caches have had only the briefest of visits to Tassie. TFTC

After several months in captivity TriZalForce Dino#2 is out and about again.

Collect from the delightful ParisLaura after today's pub lunch. Will travel with us for a while.

In the Wingello SF which is well known for mountain bike riders, sled dogging, 4 wheel driving & camping. Visitors to the Forest are advised that there will be a recreational event in the forest on 4-5 May 2019 with a dog club in the main campground.

I had received a heads up these were out again, so on a late afternoon retrieval mission I headed over to the location of this and a cluster of others in the nearby cemetery and was happy to be able to collect them. I will put them out soon.

I headed out after work to target two clusters of GA moveables. The first spot seemed to be in the beer garden of the Old Canberra Inn. I suspect this is not right and there were no Guards nearby. I hope these can be located.

Been a fun morning running around grabbing a few dinosaurs to take back to Canberra. No problems here and the cache was soon in hand. Decided the area still needed a dinosaur so dropped another one in the same spot. (Will be published shortly)
