Description
You'll get an amazing view of Coffs Harbour from one side of this grassy headland, and Diggers Beach on the other. The trail is well worn, and you'll find your way to GZ pretty easily.
This cache is not recomended for kids, or people with a fear of hights. You'd be an idiot to attempt it at night too. There are some places where the track comes dangerously close to cliff edges. At no time do you have to get dangerously close to the rocky shoreline either.
The views are amazing out here, and it's a nice quiet spot. Cache is a small container with a logbook and pencil. It's pretty well hidden, so a spoiler pic has been added to the gallery.

We were at Sawtell for the weekend and today were roaming around Coffs Harbour finding a few caches. It was sunny and warm and there were a few in swimming but I couldn't convince MrG to freeze the soles off his feet by going in. Anyway we had a cache to find and it looked like it was at a top spot, literally. When we got there we found it was. During whale migration this could be a popular viewing place but today there wasn't anyone. Found the well hidden cache with a bit of water inside and the log book covers had soaked it up like a sponge. Sorry to have to report, we were a bit brutal with it and removed the covers. Put the log (which stands up to water like plastic) in a new bag in the container. A fantastic spot for a cache, thanks MattyRx.

Easy find. A great view North and south and also out to the east. Sth Solitary very clear this afternoon
GCA Streak Day #100! Covid has been useful for something, even if most have been locationless. Up here visiting parents in the Woolgoolga Retirement Village but needed to head into Coffs for a couple of things this afternoon. I keep missing Macauleys Headland turnoff to find the ones here as I don't think about it until in town and it is harder to do northbound. Today I turned off and apart from finding the trig on the way made my way out to the end to find this. In the end an easy find with the hint photo and a nice walk to boot. Cache and ziplock were full of water and the logbook wet, but the stone paper still easy to write on. Drained things as best I could and left the ziplock open a bit to help it try and dry out but it probably needs sitting on a rock for an hour on a summer's day. Thanks MattyRx.

It's a beautiful morning for a walk around the Headlands of Coffs Harbour. First stop for me today is here. Wow this place is amazing! I love the blowhole or is it a crevice? Whichever it is it is awesome. Great spot for a cache. Everything in the cache was wet. I've been letting it dry whilst enjoying the view and watching the dolphins only metres away.
I have a great view of a certain little beach where I found another cache in my last trip, but it's far enough away to give the beach goers privacy. haha

This was supposed to be the first cache for the day but on arrival at GZ [well on the grass above it] I was horrified to find a muggle camped there.
He didn't know I was behind him and I waited a fair while but it was clear he wasn't going anywhere.
You get that vibe with muggles at caches and we have been known to explain our weird game at times but the vibes weren't right with this muggle.
A nice place though and seems like it is where the older surfies hang out.
Maybe next time, thanks.

Out and about caching in and around Coffs Harbour with Tassie Trekkers and we stopped to find this cache. Enjoyed the walk to GZ, grabbing the trig as well. Fantastic views. TFTC

Wow - this cache has been waiting a while to be found. Made our way up from Diggers Beach with fantastic views all round. Cache was found without much trouble. Water inside the container had not got into the baggy so LB was still good and blank Woot!
Fabulous location for a cache - many thanks !
