Description

ICEM - Narromine.

This cache is part of the I've Cached Everywhere, Man (ICEM) project, a series of Geocaching Australia caches in Australia.   The series had it's first airing in 2011 and now in 2018 Geocching Australia is promoting the series again in the hope the number of caches in the series can be increased.

The series is made up of the locations made famous by Lucky Star in the song "I've been everywhere" in 1962, lyrics by Geoff Mack.

Narromine is located on the Mitchell Highway to the west of Dubbo, NSW.   A small rural town and neat little spot to visit.

Verse 2

I've cached in Moree, Taree, Jerilderie, Bambaroo,
Toowoomba, Gunnedah, Caringbah, Woolloomooloo,
Dalveen, Tamborine, Engadine, Jindabyne,
Lithgow, Casino, Brigalow and Narromine,
Megalong, Wyong, Tuggerawong, Wanganella,
Morella, Augathella, Brindabella, I'm the feller.

Have fun with this cache, and if you think you can add to the growing list of ICEM caches, check out this link to see what locations might still require one...or two.

Thanks to No_Tomorrow and LuckyL10n for their assistance in placing this one.   They will claim a find after the FTF has been logged.

When planning our route north we made sure we included any ICEM within 50km. This was one of the first. As we pulled up we spotted the hide and Mrs y'stassie, walking pole in hand made her way there. She had no trouble finding the container but the plastic was brittle and the centre of the lid had dissintegrated. She returned to the car cache in hand. Unfortunately we didn't have a big enough container so transferred the log book to a 250ml sistema and added a smaller pen. The large pen in the original container is still working. We signed the log and double bagged it before returning the container to the hide. We hope it will continue to survive in its present location.

Thanks for this ICEM Sol De Lune. This will enable us to add another LGA to our tally.

#GA4025 - 00:00; I was with the CO when this one was placed. Clearly, I forgot to put a watch on it so I would know when the first finder had logged it. Now it has been logged (several times!), I'll claim a find. TFTC Sol de lune Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day three of our journey to the Mega at St Arnaud. left home at Innes park on Saturday, day one, and spent the night in Goondiwindi. Day two took us to overnight in Bourke. Now the short drive for two nights in Dubbo. Quick find here after a short walk. Where I could not fit youngoldfella used the abbreviation YOF. Another ICEM hide to add to my list of ICEM finds.
