The Centre Can
The Lambert Centre is the geographical Centre of Australia and was calculated in 1988 by the Royal Geographical Society of Australia to commemorate the Bicentennial of Federation, and to honor the late Dr. Lambert, former director of the Division of National Mapping and chairman of the National Mapping Council.
We placed this cache in 2017 but lost the co ords which have just come to light. It is an amazing location to visit and one of the hightlights of our adventures that year.
Located around 200km south of Alice Springs, this site can be visited in a day, but a good 4x4 and some off road driving experience is recommended. Remember this is a remote location so plan accordingly.
Camping is allowed nearby and is an experience you will remember.
Cache is an eclipse tin - please bring your own pen.

Now this was why we had travelled all the way from Tassie to get a FTF on a cache placed by a Tassie Team in the centre of Australia
thanks
Hopefully it's here somewhere and I'm not seeing it.
