We’ve just arrived in Darwin. We're off again in the morning, so instead of sitting by the pool, rented a car and went caching. We were shooting for some higher DT GC caches, but always keeping an eye out for trigs... We'll also grab virtuals when we see them - this is an impressive piece of concrete!

This is a big structure, almost impossible to miss. There's loads of history and signs all over the place, and when the area is open (there are gates which are closed at night) the gun emplacement itself is open for people to walk around in and explore. The gun itself is a mock-up, but the original gun is on display in the military museum which is adjacent to the park if people want to see it.
