Description
Lab cache hides and Adventure Labs are on GC only
Welcome to the Your First Hide series
This series is modeled on the First to Find series by WotheNeeds2. I have contacted WotheNeeds2 and this variation is published with permission to alter that original idea.
I realise that not everyone does hide but a good majority of us do.
I have created this series and will be publishing this series at an irregular basis to start with due to the various tasks ( Locationless) already set in motion for April 2020.
Some of us have a first hide of one type or other in Geocaching and this Locationless series will highlight them. Each of these caches is allowed to be logged up to 2 times. In other words one for GC and one for GCA, unless the type of cache is only on one website or the other.
For this cache all you need to do is post a log about your first Lab cache hide or your First Adventure Lab placement. (Published). You can only own an this type of cache on GC.
If you were lucky enough to hve been allocated a LAB cache at a MEGA event you can claim that one. Adbenture Labs might be a little easier.
All logs must have the Cache GC number , Name of the Cache and when you had it published. If you Know the number that would be good also. Mine start with L
The type of hide must be a stand alone category. For example when published you can claim a Gadget cache on for GA but you can not claim it for GC as GC does not have a stand alone Gadget Cache category.
You are free to share any experiences in relation to that particular cache placement.
Maximum number of claims on this one is one. naturally. There is always only one first.

Spa Country
Adventure starting location:
Mention the word ‘Daylesford’ to people who’ve been there and you’re likely to notice a dreamy, faraway look in their eyes. That’s the remembrance of time spent in one of Victoria’s most romantic and relaxing towns, a place seemingly uniquely designe...

My cache was one of the first test Lab Caches and so does not have a code, but it was called “The Books of Dracula's Brides”. See screenshot attached to see the original online cache description and what the finder (of which there was only one) had to do to log the cache. The cache hide was a large crate of vampire related books, which the single finder could take away to keep, and was hidden underneath an old tin bath in an abandoned underground stone quarry.
I had used the location briefly previously for a GC cache GC4VFF4, but the landowner was not happy with the extra foot traffic on his land and so it was pulled. The Lab Cache owner retrieved the GC cache at the same time so that I could archive it. More photos of the location can be seen on the GC cache page.
Thanks for placing this LC.
It is called "Wagga Wagga Adventure Tour" - placed on 31/12/2019
The start page tells you all about it -
"This adventure will take you on a Tour around some of the best tourist sites of Wagga Wagga.
There are so many great places to visit, however we won't be able to visit them all.
We will visit 5 interesting and cultural locations ............. "

A lab for you
Completed: 2/26/2014 UTC
This was a trial which we set up for our son to do and was placed in our front yard TFTC
It was a series of series of tubes in a wooden frame with various household aromas in each one.
The objective was to find the code word being the first letter of each of those scents.
It was much harder for men than women and I doubt if anyone recognised all the scents by themself.
This made it a collaborative effort and it was fun to watch all the participants.
Lab caches do not have GC numbers.
Thanks for the First Hide Lab Cache Locationless and the FTF youngoldfella.
