Description

Version 2 of our previous GC cache Paloona Palisade [GC2XBJN]

When the property where the original Paloona Palisade was sold we weren't quick enough getting over there to grab our cache.

When we finally managed to track down the new owners we were told that they had thrown the old cache away.

Since then we have been planning on putting out a similar hide and we have finally got around to doing so.

To access the log sheet for version 2 you WILL NEED TO BRING A 10c COIN - credit cards not accepted.

If you forget to bring one please come back another time as anything else used to open it will ruin the cache!

Happy Hunting!

Hi beetles2, and thanks for the cache, found with AlbyDangles on a caching weekend based at Gowrie Park, after transporting some Venturer Scouts to their statewide 'Venture' at Arm River Camp last night.
I noticed the host container early on but paid it no attention! But after reading the hint, it was immediately targetted. Great hide!

Thanks for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

A drive today with Geo Kid O, with dual main purposes, to find enough points to qualify for the highest souvenir and to find a reverse cache to complete a challenge on GCA.

The day was a success with both purposes being achieved. No showers of any note made everything almost perfect. TFTC the cache

Great cache

We needed a find today to fill a gap on our dragon zone calendar so we decided to try for this one as most of the accessible ones closer to home have already been found. On a very overcast afternoon the GPS was still spot on so we made a quick find of something that was out of place as suggested by the hint. We'd come armed with the required coin to gain entry to the logbook and it was soon signed and replaced. Thank you for a great hide

Hi beetles2.....called into this cache on the way back home after doing a circular route picking up a couple of remaining GC caches.
Accurate coords led to a quick find. Fortunatey I had the required spare change to sign the log. Cache all in top nick.
Another very nifty and well crafted beetles2 cache.
Thoroughly enjoyed the cache...many thanks....cheers ST.

After a visit to Devonport we decided to make a detour and look for some Beetles hides. We remember the GC version of this cache so looked forward to finding this one. We found a nice parking spot with plenty of room to pull off this rather busy section of road. Spot on coordinates took us to an interesting object. Fortunately Mrs Y'stassie had the required 10c piece and we were soon signing the log.

Thanks for this cache Beetles2. We always enjoy your creative caches. Unfortunately the log roll was very damp even though it was screwed in tight. We didn't experience any difficulties locating this cache, very different from our experience finding its predecessor many years ago.

This one was a joint First to Find with Trimbletas on our lunch break.
Cache was quickly located with accurate co-ordinance and after using the brought item we soon had the log in hand.
This one was a great idea for a cache, Highly recommended.
