Description
Springtime is the perfect time to get out into the garden.
Due to the recent rain the weeds are easy to remove as the soil is more pliable.
Whether you just do some tidying up, pull a few weeds, deadhead your roses, do a bit of pruning, or turn over the veggie patch and plant some seeds or seedlings, you couldn't get a better time than right now.
To log a find on this cache just take a photo of something you have done this month to improve your garden.

I didn't have a garden last year as medical issues prevented me from looking after it. Now I only have a small vegetable garden planted in old tyres. With the weather warming up I felt it was time to get things ready for planting. I have added the before and after photos. Now all I have to do it get some plants in.

I have about as much skills in the garden as I do hof some tricky puzzles.
But I did put some basic skills to good use the other day.
I planted a tomato plant for the non geo wife.
Think it may need a little water

Got out and cut the lawn today
In the photos you'll see tyre tracks of the ride on and the push mower 'cos it was really to wet to do this gardening chore
In another pic, you'll see the results of my tree trimming as well
TFTC and cheers

There is plenty to do in our garden this time of the year, with both the weeds and lawn flourishing with the spring rain and sun.
Here's a photo of our vivid clivia in full bloom.

I am not a gardener and I don’t like spending time in the garden. I can, however, appreciate the efforts of others and I admire gardens when I’m out walking. I did plant some seeds...and I did water them after I took this photo.

We actually don’t have garden. We live off a lane way and the house literally uses up the entire tiny property. It makes gardening problematic but that’s good cause I used to have a massive garden and got sick of maintaining it. Since COVID, we have put much more effort into greening our decking, currently we are crossing our fingers that these continue to grow. Our snow peas grew but weren’t a bumper crop as hoped. Thanks for this challenge.
We didn't do this, however we suggested it to our Body Corporate Management. Small fence installed to stop other residents taking a short cut through the garden. Works well. Thanks for another Cybergran V.

Gosh we have done so much weeding in the yard while home during COVID the lawn is starting to look quite good, thick and lush. Today it is looking neat as we have just mowed. Our contribution to growing veggies consists of two pots with silverbeet in them. Normally we would not grow anything as we are away from home for up to 10 months of the year.
I weeded my rockery, removed all the earth and rocks and put weed matting underneath. Then replaced tbe rocks and bought fresh tanbark to freshen it up.

Thank you for this one. It is Spring and we are in the My to December Season up this way which is Sugar Cane Harvest Time. Last week I went for a short drive up the road and got a trailer load of Mulch for $5.00 load it your self. Nothing like self service. The gardens are good for the Summer season now. TFTL

Had a busy few weeksin the vegie garden but still got a long way to go. Have planted 3 double rows of peas and the first lot is just starting to appear.
Bought tomato seedlings and they are going well.
And yesterday a neighbour gave me some raspberry canes which I have planted.
Still have corn, silver beet, and some herbs to plant. Living in the NW coast of Tasmania we have beautiful rich volcanic soil but it is sure hard work digging it.
And unfortunately oxalis and twitch also thrive in it.
Thanks.

It always needs weeding here. Start one end and by the time you finish you have to start again.
Good to achieve something today.
Thanks val

We have Grevilleas around our yard, but we decided to make the front corner a native garden. We have planted some new Grevilleas for the Eastern Spinebill and now just have to work out how to keep a night visiting, neighbourhood wandering, cat out of it. We have just put some wire there as someone told us cats dont like chicken wire...
Today have put some Native Plant Osmocote on the Grevilleas.
Thanks for the cache

After months of inactivity the garden here was overgrown and it was very soul destroying just to walk into it. It had been neglected whilst house renovations took priority.
But the first days of spring enticed Muggle Hubby out to start the laborious task of weed remval.
The garden is now looking quite productive once more.
We have already planted tomatoes, capsicums, broad beans, potatoes, spring onions, chives, oregano, sweet basil, and marigolds as an insect deterrent.
A visit to Bunnings today brought home eggplants, zucchini, beans and butternut pumpkin to plant tomorrow.
