#GA1787 - 15:05; In Melbourne for a few days to visit the geoteen, the geohoney and I headed out for some retail therapy while she was at work. After checking out some outdoor furniture, we stopped off for some caches on our way back to the city. Headed over to this cache from our first stop near the bay. We again enjoyed plenty of parking right at GZ and after a bit of a wander I spotted the cache in a spot I had checked first up, but missed the obvious! TFTC skygod81 Very HappyClan Cerberus

I learnt how to swim at a very young age.
The town where I grew up; in the Wheat Belt area of Western Australia, had a 50 metre pool.
We would be sent for swimming lessons every summer.
I worked next door to this particular school for a number of years, BC.
Cache found quickly thanks to accurate coordinates and a logical hiding spot.
All in good order and I'm adding some love here.
Thanks for the cache SKYGOD81.

05/02/2012 15:14 Parked nearby but on the wrong side of the pool. Followed the GPS the 70m to GZ and saw it straight away. A very quick find in the first place I looked. Whilst signing the log the heavens opened and I almost had to swim back to the car. Took TB TB2T28P TFTC skygod81 TNLN SL

Awaking early this morning I decided to nick out in the hope of grabbing some muggle-prone caches. The GPS was a bit confused here so I switched to cacher instinct and was able to make a quick find. Left a small travelbug - TFTC

A nice GCA cache to find as the first of the day. A trick getting in to the location but once that was sorted the cache was easily found. I doubt with the attachment method, this one is going to fall off. I had trouble pulling it off Smile
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks skygod81 for a GCA cache in amongst the 'others'.

I haven’t had a Monday night cache run for a couple of weeks so I was pretty eager at work to get going after knock off time. I initially headed west to the coast but after an early and unsuccessful start I moved into the city precinct where I knew I could bag a few finds to push me towards the 800 finds mark. I spent most of the night running between caches so I’m pretty tired, but I’m sure I have over the 800 now. This was one of the caches grabbed tonight, and although it was raining I’m sure I got about a strike rate of 90%. Thanks skygod81 for the cache.

Called by this morning, Good Friday, and it proved to be an excellent caching day for this location as there were no cars or people anywhere to be seen.
The last time I was in this specific area was in the late 80s when I was a member of the Honeywell Large Scale Users Association or HLSUA, and we used to meet regularly on member sites. This site used to be the Rothmans complex, and we occasionally had our meeting here. This included a tour of the factory where we saw the little coffin sticks being manufactured. The current uses of the site are a way better way to go in my opinion. I guess that's where the name "Virginia" comes from.
Anyway, for some reason my GPS was a bit flaky, and I was about to leave empty handed when I walked away and then let my GPS lead me back. This time I could see the cache from several metres away and it was an easy find. I left it hidden a little better, making better use of the magnets.
Thanks for the cache.

This is my third attempt at this one, and every time I am here it seems to rain. I had to wait until three groups of swimming muggles cleared off before I could have a look. Initially GPSr sent me in the wrong direction, but eventually led me back to the right spot. Found it yay.

Thanks to skygod81 for the cache.

Found with Rogmantosh after departing coley, 'a couple on the way home' caches.
My gpsr had me on the wrong side originally, but giving the coordinates to Rog, he had a find not long after.

Thanks skygod81.

Found by Facitman and s-facit at 14:41
This seemed quite an odd place to put a swimming school but I'm sure it has good use and the next door gym was certainly busy on a Sunday afternoon. Our GPSr sent us to the wrong end of the building but after a brief search we used the hint to send us to a easy find. Unfortunately the lack of finds for GCA caches enabled the local spiders to work some magic so s-facit insisted on me extracting the cache, which was done with some trepidation and squeaks

Found by Bob at 1400

I was on my way down to Brighton to visit some family and thought I'd take the opportunity to grab a few caches on the way. There didn't seem to be any muggles using any of the nearby facilities and I was able to park just a few metres from GZ. When I hopped out of my car, my GPSr was acting in a rather unsettled manner, but I had a quick look around and spotted an area which looked good for cache hiding and a quick scan revealed the treasure and I'd soon made my entry and was on my way again.

Find number 5 out of 35 today. As we walked over to GZ we walked a little too far and got an eyeful... if you know what I mean... then we saw the cache, easy find. Thanks for the cache.

Thanks to a hint from a co-resident, I found the cache easily today. Should have found it anyway, but sometimes you don't. Sigh!

You will find me at one of the nearby commercial establishments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so if you feel like a coffee or a chat, and your here during business hours, feel free to give me a ring. My number is in the log. Can't promise not to be in a meeting etc, but I should be free most times. (The cafe on the opposite side of the road to the cache makes excellent coffee.)

Thanks skygod81. That was pretty convenient I'd have to say!

Found at 06:45. Why so early? I work at this huge complex and start at 07:00.
I need a life, Oh I do have one - finding tupperware and lolly containers hidden in strange places..

Off to work now.

TFTC @ a convenient location.

I think there are other GCA members very close to me. Who R U?

Would you believe this is about 100m from where I work!

Had a bit of a look today, but I couldn't find a muggle free time when I could search without looking suspicious. Maybe another time.

My first FTF of an 'Geocaching Australia' only Cache. Saw this come up this morning and decided to do it straight away B4 returning home to the Sunshine Coast. This area has sure changed since I lived here 20 years ago. Signed log 8am (Gps says 9am - your daylight saving error I must fix.) Nice easy cache ... skygod81 - TFTC
