Description
Why would anyone place a cache here you ask?? Well, so might we, so we had better explain . . . We had a great idea (at least we thought so!!) for a themed cache (in fact it has been sitting packed for some time!!) and needed an appropriate place to put it, so we did a bit of searching and thought we had an ideal location – make sure that you look at the name of the nearby creek and compare it with the name of the cache! Getting there wasn’t quite as straightforward as we had hoped . . . in fact, once we passed Flower Power it wasn’t really straight forward at all!!
If you are looking for a mini adventure, then this might be just the cache for you! To get there we scrambled around the foreshore and bank, but decided that the best way back was to simply wade through the water!!! So, our suggestion is that you come prepared with shorts, suitable shoes and a sunny day - preferably at low tide (hmm, perhaps it wouldn’t really be an adventure at low tide!!)!! Don’t take the possibly easier way if you are going to be trespassing! The cache is only a few metres above the rocky shore. We parked at the road block at S43 12.045 E147 15.339, but if you want an easier approach, then come by water!!
We are not expecting this cache to get a lot of traffic, so maybe we will have to make it the first in a series and put out some other similar ones – we found another suitable, much more easily accessible locale as we drove home!! The cache contains arachnoswaps - but if you don't have any on you that's ok, we will restock later if necessary.
Anyway, we had fun, hope that some of you do too!!! We wouldn’t take small children or many dogs the way we went, but you know your small children and dogs – and if it’s low tide it might not be an issue.

Logs
After setting up camp Mr Felix went for a drive to collect a cache for our GeoStreak but of course he coulddn't stop at just one.
High tide and raining today so unable to search.
A bit of a scramble up the bank to find the cache out in the open, as I opened the lid I found the UV rays had made the lid brittle and it broke as I opened it.
Please let me know if you need me to replace it.
I placed the contained upside down under a nearby tree (as the hint suggests) so the contents should stay dry.
TFTC It's a pity it hadn't been found for nealy 4 years
As we drove south, one of the rainstorms that are becoming a feature of this summer came over, but by the time we had parked, it had settled to a warm drizzle.
We chose the foreshore route, which was very pleasant. I'm really not sure how March Brown got round in a 1m tide without getting wet feet, as we waded at least a quarter of the way with a tide 60-70cm lower!
Anyway, we eventually approached GZ, and I made an extremely precarious scramble to the very top of the bank alongside the huge dead tree.
Finding nothing, I returned to the bottom, and tried a different approach - scrambling up the other side of a collapsed watercourse.
Still no luck, and I came back down the way I went up the first time.
I was ready to give up, but Mrs RC was happy for me to have one more look, so I wandered a little further along the shore.
As I came back, I spotted the cache sitting quite openly, a lot further down the slope than I had been searching.
It took a short scramble to reach it, and I balanced carefully while signing the log. As I replaced the cache, the bank under my feet gave way, and I slid ungracefully but unhurt to the bottom.
From there, it was a pleasant stroll and wade back to the car, and by the time we got back, the sky was clear blue!
Thanks, DDTs.
Great location interesting access. Thank you DDTs Vasco without duck
the tide was out so decided to progress to this cache.
On the way in; took a path combination of track, wallaby tracks; foreshore and rock. Found and logged the cache at 1501hrs. Decided to follow the foreshore all the way out. Definitely much quicker!!! Great view at GZ. Loved this one so thankyou!! TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.
the tide was about 1.0m and did not get wet feet.
The cache was found on the shore just below the tree, looks like it has fallen down. This is a very unstable bank so care needs to be taken accessing the cache. Put back where I would expect it to be regarding the hint.
Very much enjoyed this one .
Thanks DDT's
Found an easy way out and if anybody wants an easier way to find please ask me. It does involve walking across private property!

After reading Dippys log I thought she used the word 'scramble' a little excessively but after doing the cache I now think she didnt use it enough
I went at low tide in lovely weather and the only bit I struggled with was getting the log book from underneath the 'swaps'....Dippy you did that deliberately didnt you ?!?
I loved the walk by the water and having just returned from a high altitude walk in Peru I must say I particularly enjoyed being able to breath too
Thanks DDT's for the cache
