Description

The classic and enormously popular Pac-Man video game came out in Japan on May 21, 1980, and by October of that year it was released in the United States. The yellow, pie-shaped Pac-Man character, who travels around a maze trying to eat dots and avoid four hunting ghosts, quickly became an icon of the 1980s. To this day, Pac-Man remains one of the most popular video games in history, and its innovative design has been the focus of numerous books and academic articles.

The game was created by Namco in Japan, and released in the U.S. by Midway. By 1981, approximately 250 million games of Pac-Man were being played in the U.S. each week on 100,000 Pac-Man machines. Since then, Pac-Man has been released on nearly every video game platform. On May 21, 2010, the Google Doodle even featured a playable version to mark the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man's release.

This Series will take you on a series of roads from Gunns Plains to Upper Natone.

All containers have a pencil and a log sheet.

Hi Dez
The idea of this trip was to find the caches involved in the Mid-Year Mystery Madness Months and to finish the Pacman Series
Having completed the first section of the objective, today was used to finish the Pacman Series
The weather was not kind, it was drizzling and cold along Blythe Road
However, the goal was achieved - the Pacman Series is now completed
This cache was Sainted at 0958 hours
Of the twenty caches found today, most were full of water and the logs were hard to write on; but I managed it
Those that were, were emptied of water and replaced as found
Three wedgies were seen today; one in a paddock on the way in and two on fence posts on the way out - a bonus for the day
Had fun and enjoyed the day
We had lunch at Upper Natone Reserve
A great day
Thanks and cheers

Geocaching long weekend, we moved our van/house/base to Pioneer Park and set out to pick up the geoart in the area.
Another quick find, did I mention it is a gorgeous day today and perfect for being in and out of the car.

Staying at Burnie with whitewebbs we targetted this series of caches.

We enjoyed exploring the roads less travelled.

Many thanks dez055 for creating this geoart.

While staying in Burnie we headed out caching with Tassie Trekkers to locate the Pacman geoart that has appeared since our last visit. Thanks DEZ055 for creating and hiding this great series. It was a lovely drive around the forests, sometimes on roads we had not been on before. TFTC

There was a sign on the tree warning of bees but none were in sight today. Again the container was found quickly and had water inside. Yet again the sealed plastic bag had kept the log dry.

Thanks for another cache in the geoArt series DEZ055

No bees here today - just a cache!
Thanks.
