Hi Tassie Trekkers. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year.
VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didn’t find the girl U want, the caches were enough. It’s a beautiful world here in Tassie.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today.
FTF: No
Mates: VK7HCH
Muggles: None

Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 1. Hobart to Devonport via the central highlands. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time.time.
A quick find with cache in good nick.
Many tftc Tassie Trekkers...much appreciated...cheers ST.

A day trip up to the Lakes to find (and refind) some caches, a great day out, some easy and some harder finds.
Straight after parkrun this morning i meet gooseandegg at our normal coffee shop and after a few minutes chat the goose loaded his gear in the 4WD and we were off heading North for the day.
We almost made it to our furthest target cache without stopping but called for some GCA caches along the way, after grabbing some stunning views from a new budgie cache we headed to the last one and started on our drive back after a short detour.
The cache of the day was a out of the blue surprise showing me a location i had no idea of and a feature i didn't know existed in Tasmania or Australia.
It was dark and 9:40 before I got home, almost 11 hours and 460km made for a good caching trip.

I had to dig a bit to get this one out. Manky was the term I used to describe the outside but inside was all good. My hands now smell like they has been inserted somewhere they shouldn't
Thanks Tassie Trekkers
Thanks Tassie Trekkers
We'd never been into this campground before so this was a great excuse to go through and have a look.
Needed to send Mr over to this one for his height but soon had it in hand. TFTC

We were not far from this hide but had to wait for two drivers towing caravans to finish their chat. They were stopped side by side taking up all the road.
Once they had moved on we moved up to GZ. The taller team member made short work of finding this one.
Thanks for this cache Tassie Trekkers. The cache container was wet inside but the log sheet was safe and dry in its sealed bag.

This series was on my to do list for the day and has brought me on to a road I have never been on before. I had to move on leaving three caches unfound / not attempted due to workmen and other muggles in the area. I will have to come back again. Thank you for the series.

Hi Trekkers
A trip with Budge to perform maintenance at Swansea and find caches in the Interlaken area; so my trip took me from Huonville to Lenah Valley, through Sorell to Orford then on to Swansea across the middle to Campbell Town where lunch was had and then to Lakes Sorell and Cresent. A brief stop was made at Bothwell prior to returning to Lenah Valley and driving back to Huonville
A mix of GC and GCA caches were found along the way - twenty caches in all
To collect these caches I took 6014 steps expending 1425 calories to cover a distance of 4.69km on foot
This one was found and Sainted quickly at 1350 hours
Thanks for bringing me back to an area where I've spent a lot time camping and shacking while trout fishing
Thanks to Budge for a great day
Thanks and cheers

Out for a day with OldSaint mainly as a maintenance run for me, then on the way home we diverted to Lake Sorell and Interlaken to grab a few GCA caches.
Thank you for this cache, I have a feeling that Mr Tassie Treker enjoyed the drive around this area.

FTF @ 12.15 pm. We headed out on a beautiful winter's day to do a 400 km circuit to find one missile for the current battleship games and along the way we collected 15 FTFs and this was one of them. A nice drive in an area we have not cached in for a long time. TFTC
