Logs
Today I/we attempted to find your Stumped again on Interlaken.
Unfortunately, one of the following happened and that made us unsuccessful in logging a find :
1.Hadn’t rubbed all the sleep out of my eyes.
2.Hadn’t had breakfast so was concentrating on filling my stomach.
3.Had someone else with me and they couldn’t be bothered looking and wanted to leave.
4.Had muggles hanging around waiting for me to leave so they could relieve themselves.
5.Wrong time of day.
6.Wrong time of night.
7.Wrong information given to me about where the cache is hidden.
8.Coordinates out by more than 10 metres.
9.Nobody has blown up the nano factory yet.
10.Too much or not enough water / light / GPS signal.
11.Flat battery in navigation device.
12.Cache has been stolen / muggled.
13.Such a small cache hidden in such a large area (fake rock in a boulder field / pico in west coast horizontal scrub)
14.Too far up the tree to reach with the ladder AND the pole.
15.Too far down the hole to reach with a magnet or grabby tool.
16.I gave up looking.
17.I need to be somewhere else soon/now/a while ago.
No offence intended! One of these may actual fit my DNF on your cache. ??

A day trip up to the Lakes to find (and refind) some caches, a great day out, some easy and some harder finds.
Straight after parkrun this morning i meet gooseandegg at our normal coffee shop and after a few minutes chat the goose loaded his gear in the 4WD and we were off heading North for the day.
We almost made it to our furthest target cache without stopping but called for some GCA caches along the way, after grabbing some stunning views from a new budgie cache we headed to the last one and started on our drive back after a short detour.
The cache of the day was a out of the blue surprise showing me a location i had no idea of and a feature i didn't know existed in Tasmania or Australia.
It was dark and 9:40 before I got home, almost 11 hours and 460km made for a good caching trip.

It was such a distance between the first one we did and this one that we thought we may have missed one, no all good! By the time I'd finished texting excuses as to why I couldn't pick up Miss J from work, SSR had dug out the cache. I'm sure he appreciated the fact I got out of the car for 30 seconds though.
Thanks Tassie Trekkers

Second stump cache on our way down the road, a quick grab and go this time, we did leave scouts in a few of these but forgot to note which ones lol

Hi Trekkers
Returned to Lake Crescent and the surrounding area to collect GA caches that I hadn't found before
This was one of them
The cache was Sainted quickly at 1212 hours
Thanks so much for the series - really enjoyed it!
Staying for two nights at the Great Lake Hotel in order to do more around Bronte, Wentworth Dam and Lake Echo should the weather co-operate
Cheers and thanks

This was the second cache along this section of road and it had become busy. When we stopped here we had one car approaching from behind and one coming the other way. After the traffic had gone Mrs Y'stassie made the dash across the road and soon had the well hidden container in hand.
Thanks for this cache Tassie Trekkers. Container and contents were in good condition.

Out for a day with OldSaint mainly as a maintenance run for me, then on the way home we diverted to Lake Sorell and Interlaken to grab a few GCA caches.
Stopped by the stump on the way through to Bothwell. TFTC

FTF @ 1.50 pm. We headed out on a beautiful winter's day to do a 400 km circuit to find one missile for the current battleship games and along the way we collected 15 FTFs and this was one of them. A nice drive in an area we have not cached in for a long time. TFTC
