We were recently on our way to Yeppoon for a weeks geocaching and detoured into the tiny town of Bajool south of Rockhampton to find a cache which was on the other side of this bridge.
1)The bridge is stand alone, and is not associated with a railway station.
2] The bridge is for foot traffic only.
3] The bridge only crosses a railway line as well.
4] Photo attached shows YOF standing on the bridge and the railway lines below.

off Argyle Street, Moss Vale, NSW
This bridge is a couple of hundred metres north of the railway station. It is nice standing up here and watching the trains pass under, especially the Sydney to Melbourne XPT train.

This bridge goes over the highway and the train line that is next to the road. It is a pretty fancy looking pedestrian bridge.
Richmond Street Footbridge, Graceville, Qld.

This pedestrian bridge joins Lackey Road and Dalys Way over the Moss Vale rail yard just North of the station but not directly connected to it very strange as you have to go quite a bit out of your way to go to the station.

This pedestrian Bridge is between Morningside and Cannon Hill stations in Brisbane. While taking my photos, a goods train passed under the bridge heading out to the Port of Brisbane.

A foot bridge over the Southern Highlands Line in Moss Vale. It is about 250 metres away from the station which has its own foot bridge. This one branches off from a bridge which crosses the line allowing vehicular access to this historic railway station. I have included a picture of the station taken from the foot bridge to give perspective.
I have Waymarked the station & find that Waymarking & Locationless caches often compliment one another.
The key photograph of the foot bridge also includes the line.

This foot bridge for Pedestrians only crosses 4 railway lines. The foot bridge is located in Bridge Street Oakey Qld to the east of the railway station and is not attached to the station. The Bridge has been here for a long as i can remember and probably much longer than that. My memory is fairly accurate back to around 1960. The line at the moment only has two passenger trains per week from Brisbane to Charlevill on the Western rail Line but the majority of train traffic are coal trains then comes goods trains as the line services grain and cattle areas as well as coal.

This footbridge crosses the Adelaide-Melbourne standard gauge track and the Adelaide-Belair suburban broad gauge track at Blackwood. It gives Blackwood High School and Blackwood Primary school access to a part of Blackwood. It also leads to some excellent single track in a local reserve.

This Railway Pedestrian Bridge links Formby Road to the Port of Devonport wharf in Devonport, Tasmania. It goes over the main railway line from Burnie to Hobart and a spur line used to cart cement to the nearby silos. It has not been logged before.
Another one-they aren't the prettiest structure.

This pedestrian only bridge crosses the North Shore Line just north of Wahroonga station. The actual access to the station is from the road bridge at the other end. This bridge is very handy for access from the shops to the lovely park on the other side.

A stationless pedestrian crossing that hasn't been claimed as far as I can tell, in Newcastle. Retrieved a GC cache on it and only then noticed it was on the locationless list.
Spotted this one in Townsville while driving around caching. It's a stand alone next to the road bridge.
Been looking for while, glad I finally found one.

MCG - "Rod Laver" Arena link, Melbourne Victoria
Stopped by here on the way to work to pick up a couple of Munzees and remembered that the MCG has several pedestrian bridges.
This one serves as a link to Rod Laver arena and is quite popular for those arriving by tram or train.

This pedestrian only bridge is right at the end of Wahroonga railway station, quite strange that it has no connection at all with the railway platform just under it.

This is the William Barak bridge in Melbourne. It is visible from my office on the 22nd floor of the ANZ bank and has its own GC cache on it (at the listed co-ordinates). This bridge is a reasonably new link from the MCG to the CBD. It is very popular with the footy crowds if they are coming from or going to Flinders Street station. It celebrates the life of the Aboriginal elder it is named after and has the unusual addition of speakers that sing and talk to you as you cross. TFTV

WanderingAus wandered by, after dropping the new Nissan Tiida at the window tinting place in Hutton Street for the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO), I found myself with "3 to 4 hours" time to kill. I had a choice of various caches to hunt down, but the choice really came down to "Herdsman Lake" or "Lake Monger".
I'd visited this area "on the hunt" at least six times in the past four years, and each time I told myself "must come back with the bike one day" so that I could hunt down the six point multi-cache GCMHNF John Henry by trail_geek. I didn't have the bike this time, but I decided Lake Monger was close enough and small enough for me to do John Henry on foot, and probably pick up a couple of traditionals on the way back.
Waypoint 5 of John Henry was conveniently located at the Britannia Road Pedestrian Bridge which goes from Lake Monger to Britannia Road Reserve, crossing the northbound Mitchell Freeway lanes, The Perth to Joondalup Railway, and the southbound Mitchell Freeway lanes. The John Henry GZ was also quite close, so after logging that find I then crossed over to hunt down a nearby Traditional.
I was able to find the multi-cache and two traditionals before getting back to the car, just three hours 45 minutes and 11.3 Km after leaving.

This ped bridge crosses the Perth to Fremantle and the Perth to Clarkson railway lines 500m west of Perth Central Station. I even captured a train in one of the photos
There are no physical caches in Kerang that we don't own so it was good to collect a couple of virtuals in the pouring rain. This bridge has been here for a long time - originally the rails at the bottom were horizontal pieces of the rail but as the kids ride their bikes down - the number of injuries caused the authorities to change them vertical posts instead. Almost forgotten bridge over the Western Rail Line between Hazelbrook and Woodford. It allows passage from Railway Parade to the War Memorial, it is now the only access to the Memorial since the RTA is widening the Great Western Highway. It does look like the Memorial will not be affected, but only just.

This is the new-looking pedestrian bridge that spans both the railway line and the Great Western Highway between Leura and North Leura.
I took the photo from the north side of Railway Parade in Leura, right in front of the Catholic Church, using my iPhone camera. I was on my way to Mt. Victoria to search for the '2000 Caches' geocache on Hourn Point.
Mrs. pjmpjm and I use this particular bridge to walk to the monthly Leura Markets. It's very convenient.
The required photo shows the railroad tracks in the foreground, but most of the bridge is above the GWH.

Footscrays purposely built new multi million dollar foot crossing. No sooner is it completed that it will be rebuilt in certain parts as the tracks are going to be widened. Gotta love the govt and tax payers money!!!
Sorry did'nt read the guide lines and will have to find another as this is definetly associated with a train station. My apologies!!!
I'm out to find another!!

WanderingAus wandered by on day 139 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, driving from GC2226T Cooks River Cycleway #2 by Zalgariath to GC2A2ZR Skating on Thin Ice ... Again! by Braelair, BurgerGirl & Firebolt_Cal, and spotted this Railway Pedestrian Bridge which goes from South Parade to North Parade Campsie, about 270 metres east of Campsie Station.
The image shows the view looking west FROM the bridge, an enlargement from that view which I think shows the start of the platforms the other side of the Beamish Street road bridge, the view looking west AT the bridge, and the view looking east FROM the bridge.

Found this (not so) fine example today just south of Guildford station on Sydney's southern line. There's another a bit further south that rates it's own set of pedestrian lights where it meets the road but no parking on the side of the line I was at. This one only gets a pedestrian crossing.
Quite a large bridge over the Great Western Highway and the Western Train Line, interestingly for once the RTA did think of the future and built it wide enough to accommodate the planned widening of the highway! Found past Hazelbrook, NSW near Clear View Parade.

This one is located on Railway Avenue, Townsville in sunny North Queensland.I was lucky to catch a train passing through. Thanks for the cache.
This one is in Pennant Hills. I was struggling to think of a local one as they are all road bridges with paths or pedestrian overbridges for the stations around here. But this one is a pedestrian bridge built on the old road bridge supports. The station has its own overbridge so there is no access to the station from this bridge even though it runs across the southern end. You can see the massive road bridge which takes Pennant Hills Road over the Main Northern line to the south and Pennant Hills station to the north.
Will look for more. Great idea!

thought I had found a great bridge until I double checked the listing and it said NOT at a station . This bridge is at Hallett Cove station. I will upload my photos any way, the station is getting an upgrade as you can see in the pictures.
This is very much a stand alone pedestrian bridge.
No station within cooee of it and and although it is very old it is worth standing on just for the views of Mt Wellington and the Derwent River.
Just soooo happened that a train chooffed its way under moments after
Thanks for the cache Rogerw3

This bridge allows crossing of the Western Railway Line in Mt Victoria. It is being used as the Great Western Highway bridge nearby is too narrow to allow pedestrians traffic.
