Description
this one is not accessable from Railton Road, but there are 2 options, theres a track along the gas pipline that comes from Great Bend road or there is another that comes directly up from Tasmanite road along the power lines
if coming up the power line trial there is one section near top where you will need 4x4 if in a 2wd you have to walk the last 400m.
there used to be access from railton road if you had a 4x4 but they have since installed a boom gate at the bottom so no access from the main road.
This cache only contains a logbook so your own writing implement is required.

We accessed this one via the power lines and apart from the last 50 - 100 metres it was easy going. That last bit certainly rattled the old bones about a bit though. Glad we made it though as it was way too hot to walk up any hill today.
The power lines certainly played havoc with the GPS's up here with both giving quite different readings.
In the end we pretty much ignored them and started searching spots that fit the clue. Didn't take more than a few minutes to be where we needed to be.
Thanks DEZ055.

This afternoon we headed out with the aim of finding GCA caches published in the last six weeks and were in the Railton and Beulah areas.
We approached this cache from the east and managed to drive within 200m before we decided to resort to shanks pony. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition although this type of container is not waterproof and will be a problem in winter. Thanks DEZ055 for the cache.

Took the 4wd for a bit of a trek up to the top of the powerline track to score this find. TFTC
Definitely need 4wd for the last section....the rest easy.
I was beaten to ftf by 'that much'....actually by 40m.
First to log only.
The cache was soon found in top nick.
Many thanks DEZ055 for placing the cache for us all to enjoy....much appreciated...cheers ST.
