Description
Leap Frog Secret Frog -- Green 2
'Leap Frog' -- the Moving Cache Race -- December 2011 until January 2012
A 'Secret Frog' doesn't look like a frog until you open the secret 'small' container!
Then you'll see what you're dealing with . . .
Please don't hang on to a Secret Frog for very long. If possible, hide your Secret Frog on the same day you find it. At most, please find a new hiding place within 48 hours.
Remember that 'moveables' are meant to be found! Don't choose a difficult hiding place, or one that's far off the beaten path. Pick a place that completely out of sight of muggles, but which can be reached easily by frog hunters. And give a good clue!
This way, Leap Frogs will move on their way quickly and safely!
Enjoy!

Logs
Secret Frog Green 2 has traveled far and wide over the years. But I guess his time has finally come . . .
this cache was hidden well. the bush area around the gz has been absolutely trashed by teenagers and the cache has been stolen. sorry to the owner. Why do people do such terrible things especially in a beautiful piece of bush. They need a good kick up the backside and to think that they have no consideration for other peoples property.
Did not find this one. Found the remnants of a 200ml Sistema GC container here. Lots of paper and what seemed to be faeces and lots of muggle activity. We soon left with no joy. Unlucky today with frogs...
Just hanging waiting to be found. Thanks PJMPJM
Time for this little fellow to hop off to another pond. Thanks PJMPM

Hopped over to Western Australia to enjoy some recreation.
Discovered the cache in the hands of Lazarus_68.
About to continue its journey in the West.
About to continue its journey in the West.
Secret Frog is now residing just South of Hahndorf, almost in exactly the same place as where our original Gegnome started his journey back in 2010.
This moveable has sat in our driveway for two months, so we'll take it with us on our next outing and re-hide somewhere else.
We thought we'd try something a little different with hiding this cache.
For now, it is hidden in our front yard, within six feet of the footpath. If it sits here too long, we will move it elsewhere.
Please don't park on the road, pull into the driveway.

We picked up this four-year-old moveable today while in the area. Good to see it already in Minotaur hands, but I think I'll put a few more on it just in case.
Will put this one out in the Southern suburbs of Adelaide hopefully tomorrow.
Thanks

The Secret Frog is on the move again, in the south of the state now. Hope it doesn't get stranded in the same place for so long this time.
Visited Braddon's Lookout to find another moveable cache and thought we'd check to see if this moveable was actually still here - and it was! mr sharnie's tribe had to climb into the shrubbery to retrieve it but he got it. The logbook was soaked and looks like a tissue that's been through the washing machine so will replace it before we move it on. TFTC
Found it near another moveable and took both. elevated him to a new position. TFTC.

Secret Frog is back out, near water again
Testing out our new GPSr by looking for a couple of caches. Found the Secret Frog so it must work!
Secret frog has found a secret hidey hole beside the river. Lots of wildlife here to keep him company (and hopefully not too many muggles!)
Cute little frog! Picked up from the event in Rosny along with some bingo caches. Thanks!

While at the shack we decided to take geodogs for a walk along the beach and rescue Secret Frog. Have done the multi before so an easy find. TFTF

We hid this secret frog in the cache at the end of the mulit-cache "Green Acres" GCNBEQ. It was a freezing day with strong winds but we still enjoyed the Adventure . Do the whole puzzle! I can't give away the gz coords!
I am parked right beside another cache so might be a chance for two finds or a revisit.
Nice hide..all is well and on his way again...TFTC...Cheers.

Handed to Tassie Trekkers while holidaying at the shack.
Took a detour on the way home to rescue this frog/cache from the cold and wind. Searched in the dark, no muggles around. TFTF.

It's no longer a secret, he's waiting to be found again.
Is it a frog? Is it a cache? Yes, it's a super frog cache! Nice one, thanks for another find amongst a big group of frogs and gnomes(and people).
Met this fellow with a group of other frogs and a gnome or two at a lovely caching dinner.
After being laid up for over a week I finally got this to another cacher to continue its journey.
My apologies for keeping it so long
Cheers OldSaint.

Hi pjmpjm
2y's Tassies were very kind to me here.
Two moveables for the price of one.
Found just as they said these companions said they would be.
Collected this cache at 1215hrs.
Will post photographs tomorrow.

Well it is time for Secret Frog -- Green 2 to get out and about and enjoy what Tassie has to offer. Although it is cold and sleety, we have given Secret Frog -- Green 2 a sheltered interim home.
We were in Launceston to have a sewing machine serviced and since there were some new amphibians in the area, we decided to look some of them up. Our road GPS got a little confused as to the best route to get to this cache - wanted us to drive up a very steep incline where there wasn't a road. We quickly found our way around the problem and arrived at GZ. For some reason, both our GPS units were slow to settle and slow to respond to our movements in this area. So, we had to widen our search area and be systemmatic. It didn't take too long before Secret Frog -- Green 2was in hand. We will take Secret home with us tonight and liberate him tomorrow so that he can explore more of Tassie. TFTC
Out again, only made it halfway up the stairs though
Four new frogs have hit our shores and this is one of them - thank you nutwood33. Took the geodogs for a walk and hid them along the trail in this reserve. Happy frog hunting
One of three frogs we collected on our night raid. Nice to find some new frogs welcome to Tassie TFTF

The Secret Frog is back out there. Recommend quick and discrete collection for this one. Good spot for a secret frog but not good for long term seclusion!
Nabbed as we were heading for the airport. Not too sure what's froggy about this cache, apart from the name. Appears to be entirely sans frog, inside or out.
We might introduce a green frog into the container before releasing it again in Tasmania.

WanderingAus wandered by after collecting Secret Frog -- Green 2 from GC2Q4JF Oz Mega Albury Wodonga, I dropped in on GC2F9V8 The International Trackable Lounge By Astrohiker and Team Cupcake Oz in a nice wetland area near Perth Airport to drop some overseas-bound trackables. I thought it was an appropriate spot to drop a frog.

WanderingAus wandered by at the waning end of Oz Mega Albury Wodonga, and was alerted to the fact that a number of moveables remained on the table, apparently unwanted and unloved. I didn't have room in my bags for any of the enormous ones, but this one was an easy fit, and will be dropped near a wetland in Western Australia shortly.

Woooo hooooo!
Green 2 has had a lovely BBQ dinner at Williamstown with friends tonight!
The weather was beautiful, with a late change!
I was hoping to drop him off within the bounds of a rather large quiet talking pond, however, he had so much fun, he missed that boat.
We'd come thus far, it seemed a shame to head back home so managed to find a perfect hiding spot at the base of a "Pioneer's Park"
*Big Tree, Under- bark, rock?*
(special thanks to DISK for the leapfrog piggyback!!! This is a lovely humid spot for a froggy to rest!!!)
:O)
aaahhh huh. Got ya!
FINALLY.... I've figured out how to 'log' this lil hopper as FOUND!
think I needed co-ords just to get me here lol
Picked him up a couple of days ago and I am planning to hop him along on a day trip tomorrow- hopefully- I won't have as much trouble actually logging his departure!
(my first moveable find, so I'm sorry for hi-jacking him for so long!)

Found this one hanging around on a table at the Marble Bar Hotel - I think they were confused and thought it was a lily pad
Found this guy hanging out with a bunch of other frogs at a pub dinner.. they were all pretty well behaved.. and they did have an allocated driver, and everyone seemed to leave happy! !
