Description
stagetree's Frog
stagetree's Frog was one of two flat ceramic Frogs made by me with the help of Jenny (thanks for the access to the kiln!). He sits on a 200 ml sistema container with a small amount of swag inside and some magnets for that extra grip.
He loves those green postal boxes that you often see on the side of the road in suburbia. Help him travel around using these if possible.
So as stagetree's Frog would say:
Ribbet. Next postal box please!
This is a moving cache created for the Leapfrog Project game on www.cachinggames.com that runs from 1 December 2011 until 31 January 2012.
Moving-cache hiding tips:
- When you grab the cache please rehide it again elsewhere asap. 48 hours is a good guide but I know that life sometimes gets in the way.
- Log your find here on geocaching.com.au with a Found it log as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
- When you rehide the cache, log a Moved log and put the new coordinates in the "Add waypoint co-ordinates to log:" box. This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them. - Add a hint for the new location in the Hints field when you enter the Moved log.
- Please look after this Frog.
- Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
When you hide it somewhere new, please add a good hint to help seekers to find it.
Finally, have fun. I know I will.

Logs
Found this in place of a new traditional cache I was searching for. I think there was some confusion as to how moveables work.
Waiting to see if this will be resurrected or stay archived.
Thanks stagetree. Love the artwork.

This cache looks like it's MIA so we'll archive it to stop it turning up in the lists. If it's found again the owner can log an "unarchived" log against it to resurrect it.
Another search, another dnf. Gz was obvious here using the hint but the frog was not there. May have been taken by the last finder but that was a long time ago.

I passed by the previous location (S37° 47.630' E145° 9.860') of this on 16 November but could not find it as it had already been taken, albeit without a move log. The move log of 15 November came after I had already posted a DNF.
I have deleted my DNF so as to avoid confusion for those who are looking for it at its new location. This note is therefore the record of my attempt of 16 November.
Thanks stagetree.

I thought this was pretty well hidden when we left it.
I should have a chance to drop in for a check next week.
Fingers crossed.

Out for a play with the geokids and saw this green box next to a playground. Perfect. Had to be careful with placement so it wasn't visible from the downhill side. Thanks stagetree for the frog.
Picked this guy up on a quick stop before coming back home after a lovely long weekend down the coast. There was a guy sitting in his car about 10m from gz watching me but I just walked up and made a quick grab and jumped back into my car. The pleasures of frog hunting.
Thanks stagetree for the frog. I'll try to find a proper green postbox for him.

Not to many green post boxes on this road trip so nice view and the next best thing.
On the way to the office this morning I managed to detour and pick up this guy.
Think he needs a little road trip.

Picked up on a frognapping trip before going to DFO. Will place out again soon.
A quick game is a good game... moved it straight away!
Next to a post box, these green ones kept hiding, but have a home now
Thanks for the emergency surgery GGau . It's always good to get some help in cache maintenance .
Such a cute froggy! I found him first and had to go back to retrieve his magnetic home - yes, stagetree the frog was lying on the ground under his hidey hole where I'm sure he was checking out the passing traffic before he successfully flagged me down for a lift to the froggy hospital.
I'm certain he'll be triaged there soon and on the mend & hopping away before we know it.

A quick drop-off at a green mail box I used for a previous Leapfrog - coordinates weren't averaged so may be a little off but should present no problems finding this obvious object.
Picked up today after a second-to-find log of EZI-AZ (Fairfield) on my way to tackle a few caches around Northcote and Bundoora. Will take it with me down south for release (on a green mail-holding box) TFTC
After work I found myself with a few hours spare before I was due home so I made most of the time and went out looking for leapfrog caches and some GC traditional caches that seem to have popped up in the last couple of days. While I discovered this cache I am not in a position to move it on, so I’ll leave it in place and re-log the same co-ords so that geocachers see that it’s still available and in place. Thanks for the frog!

***FTF*** - This was too close to home to not go and get. Will place him elsewhere tomorrow.
