Finally solved this puzzle with some help from another cacher, so while on my lunch break i headed up to grab this one as it wasn't far from work.
As approaching GZ i spotted a likely spot and my suspicions were confirmed as the cache was quickly found. Signed the log then headed back to work. TFTC Clan Cerberus

Myself and Goose of GooseandEgg were on another of our caching trips, today leaving home at 6am and doing our best to not stop at every cache, to help with that we only loaded the caches we intended to search for into the GPS's, this focused our efforts and we made good time getting here.
I had never been here before and after a short search Goose spotted the hide and we were soon adding our names to the log.

Thanks for yet another cache of yours Spreyton22

I think tge last time we found one of your caches was at Easter time along the Wilmot River. That seems like a lifetime ago now. This morning stainless-steel-rat and I left Hobart at 6am and travelled vua Mole Creek to get here with only a small number of select cache stops along the way. Puzzles that were solved so long ago that I can't even remember how were high on the agenda.
As we turned into this road I immediately recognized it as we had found another of your puzzles a few years ago along here. We continued to the parking area near gz and then took off on foot. We searched a few nearby places until we found the container. Thanks Spreyton22 for another great cache

Found with a little searching after spending the previous wet miserable day solving the puzzle. One we had previously looked at with no progress. TFTC

The container is larger? Gee, the little screw top bottle was pretty small, so it must have been tiny before. I was given a hint to get going on this one a long long time ago when I went about solving it. I jsut couldn't see the process, but once underway, I enjoyed the way this puzzle was done. Nice quick find today just a year after it was last found - phew! (Actually there's one other signature since dafichini's log, but not logged on teh website). Thanks spreyton22.

Finally managed to find this cache after solving the puzzle some time ago. Thanks Spreyton22 for organising such a creative puzzle and clever hide.

It's back!
The container is larger, reflected that in the cache description.
Apologies for the delay.

Sorry to report this is AWOL. I'll replace ASAP

No joy finding this one today. Which is a pity after solving the puzzle. We'll have another go next time we are in the area.

Found this cache during a road trip with Old Saint to find the Octogon Series in Port Sorell. We successfully found all 14 Octogon caches and another 14 or so as a bonus. It was a great and long day from Hobart, leaving at 7am and returning at 10pm.

Found the cache while Oldsaint was chatting to the cache owner about life. Coordinates were out by a way when the puzzle solution was obtained

Took a while to find but find it I did. Big Grin
Such a nice day to be up from Hobart caching
Thanks for the cache Spreyton22

Had five minutes during lunch. So I popped up the road and logged this cache. Thanks Spreyton22

Given the stuff I used to do a lot when younger, I should have got this a lot quicker.
As it was, I had it partly worked out with the wrong method before inspiration struck.
Today was the day to go and find it, and my eye caught the right spot almost immediately.
I'd love to come back and explore this area with my MTB.
Thanks for the puzzle(s) and the cache.

Found with Tassie Trekkers on a beautiful spring day. Set out to do Spreyton22 puzzle caches we had solved. Good thing Mr Google is able to help. TFTC.

Hunted down the necessary info and solved and found this cache with whitewebbs on a lovely spring day. This was one of 9 puzzle caches we found today. Made a lucky and quick find considering previous logs. Thanks Spreyton22.

Like looking for a pebble in a rock pile but found on the second try after an extensive search Thanks

Hi Spreyton22
Returned today for my second look for this cache.
The first time was an epic effort to find the cache but a very unsuccessful one. From the pit to the top of the lump and back down again. Gave up after 30 to 40 minutes searching.
Today, a different story. Arrived at the car park only to find a muggle car and wondered if they would get in the way; but not so!
Took about two or three minutes to locate the cache this time; signing the log at 1518hrs.
Was going on to locate the nearby "lizzard cache" but was told by the friendly muggles that it had been trashed and the TB gone. So went on to look for "WLFWDFWRH NHBERDUG".
TFTC, the puzzle and two exciting looks for the cache;
Cheers OldSaint.

This was our last puzzle cache for the day and for the year. We do realise just how much work the owner has put into the caches but for us its hard enough to work them out but the finding is just as hard. This cache was out by 8m on three garmin GPS units. Add this to the puzzle + the lack of real hint makes for a tough day out on the hunt. We really appreciate the effort of the owners but we think we are just geocachers and not puzzle geocachers.

This time came armed with more specific info and found ok...even though actual co-ords were 8m to the south. The difficulty level should probably be a 5 given the cache size, locality and using phone co-ords?? TFTC..Cheers.

We managed to get some coordinates for the hide without solving the puzzle, mainly through logical deduction based on the published coordinates and other information published in the cache description. We went looking for the cache but after about 40 minutes, we retired to regroup to see if there was another solution. We contacted Spryeton22 and confirmed that we had the correct coordinates and then was supported through the designed process for solving the puzzle - so straightforward once we were aware. We had a little time today after another commitment and thought that we would make another attempt to locate the hide. After about 5 minutes, the cache was revealed from it's sneaky little hide in an area we had searched before but, obviously, not well enough. Thanks for another interesting puzzle Spreyton22 and for the cache.

Well Mr Sirius - I think Mrs Spreyton22 (the hider ...) and I will do a drop by to check this little baby is OK.

I was very nearby so thought I'd tackle this one too. Well as it turns out the puzzle was the easy part. I did solve it in the unintentioned way but the twists and turns to solve it were something else. "Rocked" up to GZ and as 3DG said...just like looking for a needle in a haystack. Try as I might I just couldn't lay my sticky fingers in the right place.

17-May-12
Forgot to mention it was 3DayGrowth that noticed the mistake in my co-ords !
Thanks for the keen observation.

In my younger days, I would have been able to decode this without any research, but family, work and sport have curtailed my outdoor activities.
Like the puzzle - thanks.

12-May-12
Congrats 3DG on the solve and find. Well Done !
I'm glad you have enjoyed the challenge. The hide - a needle in a haystack ... well maybe, maybe not.
Sometimes it just takes 3 visits and a bit of ... well something, but I'm not sure what!

12-May-12
When I first saw this puzzle, I was totally at sea. Then bit by bit more info was obtained via google and finally the penny dropped.
Finding the cache was another matter....needle in a haystack comes to mind. I made 3 separate visits....on the first the only thing I found was an abandoned pup who was on her last legs, so I had to make a detour to the local dogs home. So after a total of over 2 hours searching I finally came up trumps.
I thought this puzzle was brilliant....think about the title and the two clues, do a little research and hopefully the penny will drop for you as well!
Many thanks Spreyton22, you are quickly becoming masters of this genre....keep them coming!

11-May-12
Managed to solve fairly quickly...though not in the intended way...lol.

11-May-12
I forgot to mention it is BYO pen or pencil.

10-May-12
Please note the change @ 19:18pm tonight ...
BO OLPBK OBS OGCSO
Apologies for that. Credit will be given out after a find!

A simple checksum (ie adding all of the fifteen digits) gives a sum of 48.
As stated, the actual hide is about 50/100 m from the given cordinates.

Enjoy this weeks puzzle !
