Description

This is a permanent micro cache hidden beside the entrance road into the Meadowvale Nature Park.

This is a permanent micro cache hidden beside the entrance road into the Meadowvale Nature Park. Meadowvale Nature Park encompasses approximately 63 hectares and provides vital terrestrial and aquatic habitat to native flora and fauna. There is a sign at the start of the track with a map illustrating the length and directions of the park's four walking tracks. There are 2 x 1km, 1 x 2.8km and 1 x 3.9km tracks. The tracks take you through a wide variety of the vegetation types in the park. There are even a few chances to mix and match routes as you can start on one and loop back via another. Meadowvale Nature Park has a very welcoming picnic area with picnic tables, toilet facilities and parking. Happy Caching!

We're staying at Burnett Heads for a couple of weeks, so a bit of caching seemed in order. The co-ordinates for this one had us right at GZ, but after a bit of frantic scratching in the dirt, we still didn't have anything for our troubles. Then out of nowhere, we spotted the little bugger just lying on the ground right where the hint said it should be. A very crafty hide, and lots of fun to find. I was heading to check out the town on 1770 and a couple of caches came up on the GPS so I stopped to check them out.

After finding the other cache nearby I noticed that I had a short stroll to get to this one. The GPS coordinates took me directly to the little fellow. I instinctively used a stick to check out the hide before retrieving the log.

Thanks us3scouts. Good to get a GCA cache around here.

Stopped here to have lunch and find a few caches, and we're so glad we did as we had a wonderful time doing so. This was our first & a very appropriate hide. Thanks us3scouts.

Took a drive out this way to grab a couple of the caches and first stop was the GCA. No problems with the find, even after almost 18 months. Cache is sitting as per the hint and with the added natural camo, blends in very well.

Froggy is still guarding the entrance to this marvelous parkland Very Happy

He blends in well with the scenery though.
But not as hard to find as I first thought.
There does seem to be somesort of geotrail leading to his hopping off spot Shocked

Quick find at 1445. I will have a go at any cache and as the CO knows I actively promote gca. Liked the container. Found this one after the one nearby but left the car parked where it was. Signed log YOF as this is what I se on nano and mcro logs to save space. TFTC us3scouts
