moved up from Tassie for the locals to find
Its odd for me to grab some caches mid week anymore but with a game on that was out the window since these were so close to home, after visiting a rellie at the HPH I made a short detour and made this a quick find.
Thanks for the moveable i'll get it back out as soon as I can.

We had planned to come North to visit family in Launceston over the weekend but decided to take the long way detouring via Sisters Creek and Tullah to collect 2 dragon zones we did not have. Along the way we targeted a few caches and this was one of them. There were so many caches we went past as time was limited, but it gives us a reason to return. We travelled over 700 km and are still not home. Will move south. TFTM

Back out. Enjoying Roast Chicken at Neville's House
So what do you do on the last day of 6x points, you go for a 300 km drive to rescue a few moveables before winter really arrives in the far South. Headed off for the drive to Lune River after hiding a few moveables at Rosny and picking up an archived moveable on the domain. It is always a lovely drive through the countryside. Arrived at GZ and Bingo - 18 - Red Boat - I am the rocker, I am the roller, I am the out-of-controller! I'm the nightrider, baby was located quickly as per the hint. Will move on soon. TFTM

Found whilst out and about doing some scavenging for the states of the nation game. Grabbed and will move on soon.
There was a commotion at the door and we found fifteen moveables looking for a bed for the night. Not sure they will think it was a luxurious resort after fighting for space in a couple of boxes on the couch that they had to share with the another guest, our son's dog! After a busy night for the host the fifteen moveables were provided with a luxurious breakfast (apart from the instant coffee). Now Bingo - 18 - Red Boat - I am the Rocker, I am the Roller, I am the out of controller! I'm the Nightrider, baby is ready to hit the road again. Thanks C@H for the fun moveable.
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a dragon zone virtual verbosity trophy. We have just received the 100 word trophy, so now aiming for the 150 word trophy. For all new GCA cachers, a warning, write a decent log to start with in case you want to get these virtual trophies down the track. Having now passed 2000 GCA finds with a lot of one word logs (on many moveables) makes for a lot of typing now!
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and we will try and use this find against one of the scavenges.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
Go Tassie, Go Tassie, Go Tassie, Go Tassie Go Tassie Go Tassie Go Tassie
The States of the Nation games have helped boost our dragon zone points and we have achieved a few milestone trophies as well.
Have you joined a clan? Enhance your geocaching experience by joining a clan and being a part of the Dragon Zone. Choose a team Clan Griffin , Clan Phoenix , Clan Cerberus or Clan Minotaur . Earn trophies and rise through the ranks from Dragon Fodder to Ruler of the Universe.

Bingo 18 - Red Boat....... is back out ready to go. Love the full name of this cache but decided to go with a shortened version in this log, hope he's not offended! TFTC
A quick find on a social visit to exchange stories from recent caching expeditions to the big island. Will move him on asap. TFTC
Was sitting in the laundry waiting for a scrub when a local cacher came by. No time to waste washing. Red Boat is off to see Tasmania.
Bingo 18 has been sitting in a depression behind a large tree since September and has acquired a thick layer of mud. This little boat will need a good scrub up if it is to beat Tasmania's quarantine laws.
By the river, well out of the flood waters.
Dropped off as part of a prisoner exchange!
All prisoners collected and ready for Transport interstate this coming week!
Note: Caches are not here. They are nearby but will be in transit
Note: Caches are not here. They are nearby but will be in transit
I've recollected this in preparation for an interstate Prisoner Exchange Program that will occur in the next week or so
Found it, no problems. Forgot to take a pen to sign the log. Left the boat where we found it.
Feeling really cranky, you travel all this this way to collect caches and people don't log that they have taken them, or they've had them in their possession for months. No consideration. Ruins the game!!! and it's unfair. ..... i'm just cranky because there are supposed to be 86 movables in the ACT to date and I can't access the majority of them and I'm fining this to be the case most of the time. Right or wrong from what I can see I can see why cachers don't bother too much about Geocaching Australia caches.

We rescued and tugged the red boat down south! He was longing for suburbia after being stuck so long in the middle of nowhere.
Moved later after finding on a caching run. Happy travels.
Found today will move on shortly. I keep wondering how many gnomes are now travelling around rather than being in gardens..

Up on the plane and sailing off again.....
#GA842 - 16:15; I've been following this little boat's progress since its recent return to the ACT. I had planned to pick it up with its mates this afternoon, originally from another location, but my ship had sailed on that plan! I checked and found that it had actually sailed closer to home, so did a quick park and grab on a batch of moveables as I headed out for an afternoon mini-mission. TFTC C@H

Have found this one previously so noting only. Will return to Canberra later today.
An extensive search in the area turned up quite a few spiders with webs and some rubbish, but no caches. Perhaps our GPSrs were out this evening, or perhaps someone else got here first.
