Today I was searching for caches along the Midlands from Launceston to Oatlands. This was on my hit list. A quick find was made. I guess fairy floss and dagwood dogs would be readily available here on occasions.

Fairly easy find with clue and reading previous logs.... retreated to my car to fill in log and then had to wait for a muggled to finished her walk along the very open street TFTC
This afternoon after working at Ross for the day we decided to stop and grab this one on our way home. With use of the hint we quickly found the well camoed cache container in its hiding spot. We signed the log and placed it back into its hiding place and continued back home. TFTC

Thanks for the cache Dippedidooda.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I were off for a weekend up north, and today Campbelltown was chosen as our place to stop, grab a coffee and stretch the legs. We had a few to find here in Campbelltown, so the GeoGSP and I walked between them to give him a bit of a walk. This one had us searching for a minute or two thanks to the good cammo, but then the nice hide was found. Log singed and cache returned to it's hiding place.

As usual, my search took much longer than it should have taken, but at least I found it! I was backwards and forwards finding caches along this street and general area today.

We spent an anjoyable afternoon caching in Campbell Town. There sure is so much history here. I can imagine this would be one busy place come showtime. An audacious hide and thanks Dippedidooda for organising this cache.

After sorting through various aspects of the dz trophy points it looked like another rather long day trip was in order. The prime objective being a cache in the southern midlands area then collecting any other available GA caches on the way back home with side road diversions where needed. After days of abysmal cold weather up in the NW, the forecast for today over the midlands was for a frosty start then a generally clear morning.Set off at 8am in very over cast and freezing conditions but further south the skies had cleared for a rather sunny morning. After 2 3/4 hrs driving, gz for the main cache 'C u on the highway' was closing in. Signed log then time to head back north to nab some more GCA caches.
Have never been to the show grounds here before either. Quick find...cache in good order...TFTC Dippy...cheers ST.

We went for a stroll through the back streets of Campbell Town and located this cache without too much trouble. Unfortunately there were neither Dagwood dogs nor fairy floss today. TFTC
Hello Dippedidooda thanks for the cache
EeePees, LilRaffa and my self had left Hobart early this morning to go to Launceston to go to the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event. After the very well attended event we had a leisurely drive home looking for caches as we went.
On our way home we stopped off to find all of the caches we hadn't already found in Campbell Town as it ended up none of us had found any of the active caches so we had a big list to tick off.
This was one of many on the long list we stopped and made a quick find no your cache as I was replacing the log and re hiding the cache the others drove off up the hill to the next cache on the list. After replacing the log and re hiding the cache I still managed to get to the next cache first.

Hi Dippedidooda, found this with AlbyDangles while we were out on a grand day out with Lil Rafa too.
We had a very early morning start down south, made our way up the icy highway to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event at Trevallyn Tailrace Park, for some piratey fun and cacher catch-up.
On the way home we stopped to grab various caches, this being one. Nice gates, and loved the placeholder.
THANKS for it.

TFTC a well concealed cache. Very quiet day today but with a bit of scratching around the cache was soon in hand

Checked on cache. All good. The screw was originally designed to "screw in". That doesn't seem to work now - placing right under seems to work fine though.
Could have done with a dagwood dog, but finding a geocache is even better !
Thanks for the cache, Dippy !

It appears we are once again sneaking around in Tassie Trekkers dust. I may have unintentionally lowered the diff factor a tad by approaching from different angle. Drat! Sneaky indeed.

Mr Beetle braved the rain to jump out and grab this cache as we head to Hobart to see Mrs Brown's Boys. First of only 4 for the day. Thanks.
Found this one on our way home after a week of caching down the east coast and in the Port Arthur area. Loved it. TFTC
A quick find in a place I've been before, on my way home from work in the north.

We were heading south for the day to welcome our daughter back home after 10 weeks at Casey Station in Antarctica. The recently published caches in Campbell Town were a very welcome break from the drive. We were surprised to find the Campbell Town Show Ground on the western side of the town - for an unknown reason, we thought it was located on the eastern side. This well designed hide blended in well with the environment and took a few minutes to locate. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks Dippy for five carefully planned and implemented caches in the area.
