A quick find, but I had to fight the spiders for the container. They’d looked after it well and kept it safe. Thanks for the cache Sol de lune

Out caching with The Empire Cool

Day 4 of our interstate trip. Today we head for home. We wanted to head out grabbing a few caches along the way. All in all a great, albeit a long day. Another area I would never have visited without caching. Big Grin

I was out caching by myself today and decided to have an early start to be home again before the forecast storms arrived. I succeeded in that, but I didn't finish all the caches I was hoping to. I have never travelled that road before and I didn't realise how pretty the country is up there - and I was incredibly delighted when on approaching GZ #1, I could appreciate the views from the top - how wonderful they are. All the coordinates were great which meant easy finds. Caches mostly were in good condition and notes will be sent to the CO re the individual caches that require it. TFT series of caches SDL All logs signed. DancingClapping

Followed my nose as other technical means lead me astray. Once up here I had a reasonable day with the usual DNFs. Waymarked Collector, moved a bunch of moveables & enjoyed the dirt road. Didn't get to the very end as a long way back so bailed at 4 pm. Plenty of roos about but no snakes, despite it being warm. Thanks for the variety of hides & containers.

Went out with KittyKatch and Joolay to hide some caches and find some of the scavenges for the State of the Nation game and a lot of fun we had. Such a nice day to go out caching with friends with a great outcome for the day. tftc SOL DE LUNE

Came down with alnic39 for a day trip into ACT we had teamMerlin & Splitty Miller JJCC catch up with us before we entered ACT. Had a few caches targeted we got to some but missed others that we didn't get too. The main ones we got were Geocache, Canberra Nature Park, I Dunno and started to collect some of the UGC caches. It got quite warm into the early 30°& most of the caches were in Mulligans Flat area so the rock base warmed up a bit as well.

This was the second cache Al and I got just outside of Collector we didn't find Bottom of the Hill lost reception and by the time it came back up we were passed GZ so had reverse back a bit to a place we could stop then a run back to the hide. It was a quick find

Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Sol de lune

After completing the High Road to Canberra series we continued our journey back to Goulburn and this cache was on our way.

A quick find in a commonly used position. Container and contents were in good condition.

A cache well worth stopping for just for the view of the surrounding district.

Thanks for this cache Sol de Lune and for showinf us this area.

After a caching run to Goulburn took the scenic route back home via Collector, Gundaroo and Gungahlin. An easy find, thanks.

Found it Very Happy SL TNLN TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here. Cache in good condition.
With a geocaching event looming I took the fam camping a week in advance at the event location. A lovely mild day was the perfect opportunity for some caching and armed with the desire to complete VC and Old Fed we made our way along the Federal Highway at an earlyish hour. As always we had a fantastic day. Managed to up my daily find best by one by finding 28 all up and managed to complete the series along Lake George too.
Heading back to camp and as there was still light in the day I had to keep on caching, most especially as there were only a couple of caches in this area. A quick find and we were on our way. An awesome day was had.

Headed out after work on a cache run as I needed a change of scenery. Made it to the top and grabbed an easy find. Cache found in good condition. Ran out of time to claim for the SSS though - never mind, great to be hitting these caches Smile

Off to Canberra for the day, & time for a couple GCA caches on the way. As I had a Movable GCA to relocate, decided to head west from Collector & grab this and its mate at the bottom of the hill. This one was an easy park & grab. Cache in good nick.Walking back to the car, spied an item some distance from the cache that definitely did not belong., and could only be here through ill-gotten gain. Will have to report that to the local constabulary
Shame on you

Great to get up here and find an actual cache container rather than a micro - lovely location and easy to find. TFTC SdL Smile

Found approximately 8:10pm. I headed out to find this cache on my weekly commute home from Canberra for two reasons one as a daily find for the GCA caches and two as a strategic find for the dragon zone. The find was quick. I signed the log and returned the cache to where it had been hidden. It was a bit of a hill climb. Good thing no snow had fallen around here.
Thanks for the cache.

#GA393 - 07:35; I was on my way to Goulburn and running a little bit ahead of time, so I took a short detour to collect a couple of caches off the 'to do' list. Took the turn and headed up to the top of the hill for a quick find before heading back down again for the next one. TFTC Sol de lune Very HappyClan Cerberus

Found on our trip to Ettalong Beach for the weekend. Another fantastic idea for a miniseries of GCA caches. A short detour off the highway, where we were presented with a fantastic drive up a lovely looking will, where we were presented with some great views at the top. Definitely a top spot to visit! Once at GZ, it was a very quick find. Now, to the bottom! TNLNSL. TFTC SdL!
