Description
This is one of a number of caches that we are putting out for the Winter Games.
Pablo the penguin is the creation of senior students from the Penguin District School and has been placed beside the highway to entice travellers to turn off and travel through Sulphur Creek and Penguin.
The cache, a 1 litre cammoed Sistema container, has been hidden a short distance away and contains a logbook, pen and a range of swaps.

Logs
Ongoing problems with water so time for Pablo to be put to bed. Thanks to all who found him.
Found Pablo easily. Cache was half filled with water, however the log was able to be signed. Drained the water from the container and resealed the log bag. TFTC

A miss for us today, Their was a lot of surface water laying around and reading previous log about being under water. We wondered if it was drowning. Otherwise we did not see it because we could not see through the mountains of natural camo. we will watch this space
Cache has been underwater but contents are ok. Log dry inside zip loc. TFTC 2y'stassies...cheers.

Today we visited this area finding caches that had been published since our last visit.
This one took a bit of searching but Mrs T made the find. Cache slightly damp but log book dry.

2nd stop for the morning along the highway and I'm sure people passing by were wondering what I was doing. However all was good and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Pablo was cute.....well done to the high school kids that painted him....
Thanks again guys.....

Muggles selling spuds in the side of the road made it impossible to spend any time searching here so after purchasing a small bag of pink eyes we moved on
Quick stop for this one on our way home, now we only need 2 more to get our '50 in a day'. All in good order of course and we left a scout. TFTC
Friday afternoon is not a good time to visit Pablo. So many cars racing by I felt exposed and not really able to have a good search. Thought that this would be an interesting place to hide a cache and there was one already here! I just have to find it. Love panel- well done to high school kids and to you 2y'stassies for hiding this cache. I'll try again at a better time.

This was an easy find when trusting the GPS and with a little geo knowledge. Raining today so had to make a quick dash. The container was holding a little water when found, dry when left. TFTC
Had intended doing this one on the way to Burnie but when we realised where it was we decided to grab it on the way back. This one took the longest and Mr Beetle was just heading over to join in the search when it was located.
For some reason Mr Beetle thought this one was going to be opposite Dunkies, since in his working days he stopped there frequently for a coffee! My guess after spotting the location is that the penguin is named after Pablo Picasso.
Thanks for these 4 new GA caches 2y'stassies. We will claim a 2TF on them all.

Well this one was the hardest of the four we tried along the coast today. Lots of possibilities when the GPS won't settle. Eventually locked in and we made the find. Another FTF, we're on a roll!! TFTC
