Description
Rules of the game
- Your GeGnome must be a genuine, bone fide garden gnome. It may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2015 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your GeGnome on 1 December 2015. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own GeGnome during the game period.
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the GeGnome to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the GeGnome provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If a geocacher moves your GeGnome overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the GeGnome mover may move your GeGnome back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the GeGnome.
Etiquette
- Avoid rehiding a GeGnome far from active geocachers territory as it basically exits the gnome from the race
- When rehiding a GeGnome get good co-ordinates. Seriously. Don't dump and run. Get co-ords as you would a permanent GeGnome.
- When making your log against a GeGnome include a good hint so the finder can identify whether it's been moved, muggled or just a bad GPS day.
- This is a challenge of moving GeGnomes along, not trying to make them impossible to find, so help you fellow players out by making the task enjoyable

Hidden in a park in Sydney withh a couple of friends.
Picked this little guy up as he has been sitting here for nearly 18 months - it was not a good place to leave him.
He is now nestled in our car with a couple of other movables and is heading east.

Asked at the last minute to do a long shift on Friday night finishing 6 am Saturday morning & this being my 2nd last week before I am transferred to another location. Effectively my last night shift for some time – I wanted to do some caching before coming home – so loaded 3 off movables into GPS & see what happens. Looked on computer to see when first light is & that is 6.33am. arrived at Parramatta park at 6.20am so still very dark. So, a LED torch & off I went. It’s very interesting doing this in the dark & cache location being under tree cover made it more interesting – I MUST thank rogerw3 for very accurate co-ordinate’s & a good hint – made the hunt a lot easier in the darkness of the morning. It was great to retrieve Turbo.
Will be moving further afield.

Feeling really cranky, you travel all this this way to collect caches and people don't log that they have taken them, or they've had them in their possession for months. No consideration. Ruins the game!!! and it's unfair. ..... i'm just cranky because there are supposed to be 86 movables in the ACT to date and I can't access the majority of them and I'm fining this to be the case most of the time. Right or wrong from what I can see I can see why cachers don't bother too much about Geocaching Australia caches.
Found another cache at the same location. Gotta be a bonus.

All of a Sudden, my inbox filled with Alerts that a bunch of moveables were nearby!
Could it be?! I went outside, and as I did, a car bearing caches came by and dropped them at GZ! How good is that!

#GA936 - 10:15; I saw a posse of old and new moveables had arrived in Canberra and have been keeping an eye out for them. I missed my chance to grab them on the first drop, but got the good oil early this morning and headed out to grab them. TFTC fluffyfish

Found in the hands of Rogerw3 who kindly delivered this & nine others having travelled by train - a 12 hour round trip which is still in progress. Very much appreciated.

Anyone flying out of T3 via Qantas or Jetstar?
May I tag along for the ride?

Hiding in rocks with some other gnomes and a frog. Follow the track from Thompson Road to within a few a metres of GZ. There's a nice spot to cool off not far from GZ.
Been hanging around my speakers far to long and needed a bit of time out, so am laying under some mulch next to a brick wall where one of my other mates was left awhile back.
I spotted this one today at The Great Gnome Grouping event, a really fun event with a lot of different types of games going on. The gnomes were all hanging out on a table inside and I tried to remember to sign the log for the ones that had them. Thanks for the cache Fluffyfish!
Discovered Turbo the Gnome at a local gegnome event in Como.

Just to be clear, I didn't claim the find but I have moved it.
Just want to get this very naughty gnome moving!

Agree with ROSS1957 on the rules interpretation and IMO it wouldn't be outside the spirit to claim the find as there were three DNFs.
the ruled say you can find and move your own gnome. But doesn't say when. So iy should be fine.
And apparently I can't change the starting coords so the move has accumulated some kms and move. May a higher power strike me down if this becomes significant in the future. Apologies as this wasn't intended.
Turbo was there all along. There were two burnt trees. Clearly not easy to find. He will be relocated today. Sorry for the non clear hint.
Will check tomorrow in case I completely mucked up the coords. If not, I will archive.
Didn't find this little fellow in the dark although the mozzies found us.
