This is the Middleton Beach Surf Cam

This is a lovely spot where you can watch the surf in Middleton.

This is a live cam with no delay, so getting your self in the right position should not be too hard.  The cam can be seen from the house opposite this location.

A beautiful warm Autumn day had us strolling to the beach to grab this webcam. The waves weren’t very big but there were plenty of surfers to see all along the coast even in the middle of the working week.
Found ourselves on camera and took a screen shot.
Many thanks for this one ParisLaura

Bit tricky because the Jeep ads keep coming up and it’s on delay, but eventually managed a few screen shots and spotted the camera. Very Happy

I tied to get a photo here last year but there was a surfing festival happening at GZ. Today I came back and it was blowing a gale. Got the pic although the webcam seems to have a delay of about 1 minute which is a bit confusing. Now back to the car and out of the wind!

Today was an awesome day for a surf, also a pretty good day for geocaching.

Prior to last weekend, we had never logged a webcam geocache, so set about rectifying that anomaly.

We logged the Goolwa Wharf webcam no problem. But this one turned out to be a bit tricky. I didn't know how to take a screen cap with my Android phone. Back home I soon learned how easy it is, so we returned today to once again put the J's in the frame.

The attached image actually shows both of us in the image. Mrs J is leaning on the rail, slightly obscured by me, trying to see my phone screen in the sunlight.

Incidentally, the house that the webcam is attached to is owned by a friend Mrs J's brother, and both brother and friend are surfies!

Thanks ParisLaura.
