Description
A cache set to meet the requirements of a challenge in the Geosports winter game.
The Frenchs Road Reserve consists of 34 hectares of remnant bush along Seabrook Creek, not far from Somerset and Wynyard in NW Tasmania. The native vegetation in the reserve is mostly stringybark, tea tree and wattle. A committee of local residents and council members are working towards rehabilitating the area.
It's possible to take pedal bikes, horses and dogs into the reserve but you are requested to keep your dog on a lead and to keep to the pathways. Facilities provided in the centre of the reserve are an information centre, picnic table and a composting toilet.
The cache is a black bison tube hidden near the start of the walking track. There's also a GC cache in the reserve somewhere.
This is a very peaceful place, hope you enjoy it.

But we did remember caching here before.
Thanks, a quick find.
A quick "raid" on the NW Coast to look for GAs proved to be a long day
I travelled just short of the 900 km
My total finds cost me 11034 steps; 1825 calories in walking 8.58 km to make them
Arrived and parked in top car park
Only a short walk but most enjoyable
The search was a quick one and luckily the "spiky bits" didn't get me
An interesting location - LOVED the "dunny"
I wondered why the cache had the name it does; I now understand - so to answer your question "parlez vous francais?" - Qui madam Qui!"
TFTC and cheers

My FINDS: GCA 4299; GC 3907; TOT 8206
Found on a caching run down the coast. A very well hidden cache which took a while to reveal itself.

Took the longer way to walk to this cache, and then it took me quite a while to actually find cache.
Found this cache on a 2 day trip to the NW, covering over 1000 kms and finding around 100 caches of both GCA and GC
We have previously found the GC cache in the reserve and as rain was threatening we decided against a walk in the reserve this afternoon.
Thanks Sharnie's Tribe for a well concealed cache and for bringing us back to this area.
