Description
A cache placed for the summer scavenger hunt
I was in this park grabbing another cache, and stopped by some trees to place this one (as I always carry a spare mint tin complete with log in my goodies bag)
This cache is up a tree, the picture below shows the tree, it's the one on the right, there is a dead tree to use as a ramp to climb up, it's a tricky climb as it is slippery. Good luck :)

Logs
Carried the ladder to GZ, climbed up the tree but couldn't find the cache
A visit by our Geocaching sister and brother-in-law baby&Mrs gopher provided an opportunity to log this one as it was adjacent to their route home and bg had the necessary equipment to access it in the truck.
This one proved a little challenging as there were a few options for the hide but we got there in the end.
Our thanks to ATSMUG for the cache.

Found by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Team Ladava. .A few false starts because the branch ramp was on a different tree. Used our TOTT instead and made the find. Tnx ATSMUG.
Stainless steel rat and I came over to Melbourne to finish Woodlands with 1toolman. On the way to the last one we stopped for this cache. We climbed but found an empty hole, the photo confirmed we were in the right place though.
Suddenly the toolman found it, just sitting on the ground. We signed it and placed it back where we hoped it belonged. Thanks atsmug

In Melbourne for a few days and my son wanted to see what the caching thing was all about, so we headed out to towards Sunbury, grabbing the two caches along the way.
This one certainly presented a challenge, but with a plan hatched we managed to have soon have the cache in hand. Once the log was signed, getting it back in position was another challenge...with a few laughs as we tried. All went well though and the cache was soon back where it belonged.
Thanks Atsmug.....nicely done.

Disembarked from Spirit I and headed out of the city. This cache was on our way - well only a slight detour which we made as we had the appropriate piece of equipment with us.
A short walk around the GZ area and we had the correct spot identified. The cache container was successfully retrieved and the log signed. Container and contents were in good condition.
A large mob of very big kangaroo watch our antics with interest. They only moved off a small distance when we approached. Appart from the roos and the planes overhead the area was quiet so we did not have to worry about muggles. As ir was still quite cool we did not encounter any wriggly animals either. Just as well as one of us was not wearing siutable footwear for this terrain.
Thanks for the cache ATSMUG. It will also fill in another block on our GA difficulty/terrain grid.

A maintenance check on a much beloved (and sadly, muggled to the point of archival) cache just off Providence Rd was the incentive to bring out the tool necessary to get a couple of higher terrain caches.
This was the first... although there is plenty of alternative equipment available on site, I was much more comfortable with mine, thank you very much.
Cheers, atsmug, for another hide that cements the Woodlands area as one of my favourite places to be.

I have had this cache on my 'to do' list since it was published but Woodlands is not a place that I often visit. This morning my younger son flew out to California for 3 weeks so I had to visit the airport. On the way home my husband and I took a slight detour so that I could attempt this cache.
I came prepared with sturdy shoes and an 'can do' attitude. A quick look at where I was going and a bit of guidance from my husband and I had the cache in my hand. My husband took some photos as proof that I had reached the cache and I was back with my feet safely on the ground with some points for Clan Cerberus .
Thank you atsmug for providing me with an achievement on the first day of this new year. I look forward to more of your caches in 2017.

Today we concentrated on finding caches that fitted our criteria for the Summer Scavenger Series and this was one of them.
Took a ladder and Mr T rose to the challenge. Whilst we were spoilt for choice on which way to log this cache we will be claiming this one for the terrain rating.
Thanks Atsmug for this locationless.

Out with caughtatwork he convinced me to get on his shoulders and grab the cache. I think I heard a lot of puffing and panting but I didn't hear any breaking bones so it looks like he's still fit enough to have me on his shoulders. This was an easy cache to find once I was up here and then I had to get down to log it and then back up to rehide it. Thanks for this cache and I will be claiming this one for Clan Phoenix.
Woohoo a rare *FTF* for caughtatwork and GabGab.
Together GabGab and I decided to tackle this geocache as we suspected the height of two would be more beneficial than 1. We took along a ladder just in case (it's only about 30 minutes from home) but it turns out that we didn't need it. We didn't tackle the geocache by climbing as we felt that was a little risky for us and it was a sight to see with GabGab on my shoulders and only just barely able to reach the cache. No pen! Doh! So down we came with cache in hand, made our mark and then back to the shoulders for round 2. Given GabGab is 16 now, this is a little more weight than when I last had her on mys shoulders which was probably a decade ago
So we have signed the log and all is well with this cache. A nice one for Griffin and as GabGab is Phoenix, a double score for the Greenies.
