Description
A nano geocache for the Summer Scavenger Series
The Summer Scavenger Series suggests that we hide a nano geocache to gain some points for our clan. (Go, Go, Griffin Gold!) Well I happen to have a nano around the house (I dislike these things with the fury of a thousand burning suns), but points are points are points so it's now out of my drawer and into the wild. The location will be rather obvious when you get to GZ as there is only one object it could be attached to, but you will need to find where on the object it is attached. This cache shouldn't trouble you too much and if you combine it with the other geocaches along the Western Freeway Path this will net you a find and a nice walk too.

Winter is generally a quiet time at work. School holidays are too. So school holidays in winter time are exceptionally quiet.
Only one thing to do; go geocaching, of course!
So here I am at ten to three. Finding my first cache along this trail.
I don't hate nanos, I think they have a place in this game. Even if it is just to earn the hider a few points.
A nice quick find, after reading the cache page on the walk in from where I had parked the truck.
Thank you for placing this cache for me to find, caughtatwork.
I think I shall head west for now.

I decided to continue exploring the western bike trails... this time the Western Freeway was my target, so I caught the train to Sunshine to ride the last section of the Kororoit Creek before continuing westward.
A fine evening, and a mostly successful hunt (apart from a couple of fruitless scrambles in the bushes), and edging closer to the 10% target I want to maintain.
Thanks, C@W.

Nano's you either love em or hate . I prefer larger sized caches but thanks to a clear hint and a well written description, I had no problems finding this. A women did ride by with dog, so a bit of time wasting was required before returning it.

#GA1835 - 08:55; Day two of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. Our major goal for the week is to complete the SSS and other series along the Western Freeway/Ring Road and to then collect enough GCA caches around Docklands to bring our total finds for the day to 100+ which would build our trophy cabinets a bit more as we complete a few more 'missions'. This was one of 82 finds in just under 6 hours along the various series, where we only had the one DNF! Apologies for the mostly generic logs. TFTC caughtatwork

An unplanned opportunity for LuckyL10n and I to head south for a 5 day caching run arose and was too good a chance to slip by, so plans were made and we headed to Creswick yesterday. Plan for day one was to ride the bike paths of the Western Ring road before heading into Docklands for a few more there.
We parked nearby to this cache and started our ride here, heading out bound on this leg before swinging back to complete the rest. All went well, with only 1 DNF (GA9922 Tall Fencing) which certainly seemed to be missing. Another couple were found away from their GZ co-ords, but that was put down to an animal not being happy. They were replaced in at GZ, as per their hint, so no problems with them.
All up it took 6 hours to ride the entire circuit, including a 30 or so minute break for a feed at a conveniently located HJ 'restaurant'. Once this series was finished, and as per our plan, we headed into Docklands where another 18 or so were found before dark and then heading back to our digs at Creswick.
Thanks to C@W (and Gab Gab) for the series. A lot of fun, and a lot of riding...which hasn't been done in a while.

We had arrived in Melbourne early to catch the Spirit of Tasmania back to Tassie tonight. That gave us the opportunity to look for more caches along the Western Ring Path, ones that we didn't find in April because we ran out of time. We were pleased that the rain of yesterday had gone and, apart from a cold breeze, the walking conditions were very pleasant. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks caughtatwork for the cache and the series.
