I was on my 4 days off and decided to head out to Whiteman park to clean up a few caches today. I spent a few weeks solving the C series and some of the P and W series. It was fun solving several of the puzzles in particular the jigsaws. I love solving jigsaw puzzles. As yet i have not solved all of them as i need some help with some of them. I printed off the Whiteman Park map and plotted all the coordinates into my phone on cgeo and then roughly plotted them on the map. This then gave me the opportunity to work out where to park and what caches to get from each parking spot.

I parked at a few different locations and did large loop walks collecting caches one of which was quite large due to the Keith Maine Centre being closed. I spent about 6 and a half hours walking and logging caches in the heat which was quite draining today. Luckily i had plenty of water and fruit to keep me going. The easterly breeze offered some respite from the heat but more so in the shade. All up i walked 10+km's which i did enjoy and only saw 6 kangaroos and one bobtail lizard.
All up i found 30 of the 31 solved caches in the series.
This cache had me stumped for a minute or two but after reading another log is was found very quickly and then signed the log.
Thanks for the 3 great series Chwiliwr, Gwiber, TBH and Gwar. ClappingClapping

Out today clearing out some solved puzzles in Whiteman Park with Lazarus. I managed to grab as many as I could but will have to return another day to finish off the series. I still have a few puzzles remaining on the to solve list and a few solved but yet to be found list. The cache was found replaced as found once the signing duties were completed. Many thanks Gwiber for the puzzle and the cache.

Well my GCA statistics were telling me my finds are low on Friday's + the 15th of the month; so when both coincided I had no excuse, must get outdoors & collect finds. Well you know you're on an adventure when you're following kangaroo-made tracks, little evidence of humans. Had solved this puzzle some months ago, but of course waited to attempt multiple in this series.
Thank you Chwiliwr, tbh, Gwiber, Gwawr.

Have solved about 2/3 of these mysteries now, so slowly getting here to log them all. Had a couple of hours this afternoon, so decided to tick a few off my list.

Wandered around in circles for a while at GZ here not having much luck with the GPS, but soon narrowed it down and realised I had more of a challenge on my hands as a large limb had fallen from the tree, bang on where I was judging GZ to be. With a bit of heave-ho, I dragged the lumber away and had a quick search around under that area and huzzah!

Took the family to Whiteman Park and did a few walks around the trails to do the puzzle caches. Managed to stay dry by sheltering when it looked like showers but got wet walking back to the car from the final cache. All caches were found OK and apart from one in good condition.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

My Grandparents took me to Whiteman Park to do some caches. They got wet going back to the car after the last cache but I stayed dry. I could hear the steam engine whistle all the time and saw it on the tracks when we were near them.

Granddad signed the log signed for me.

Thank you for the cache.

A much quicker find than the previous 2 of the series and coords seem to be fairly accurate. Container could have been tucked away a little bitter as I noticed a telltale flash of blue as I was wandering around looking for it. Really enjoying the series so far, TFTC Gwiber

Woohoo!! FTF at 4:45pm!

I have worked on these puzzles for quite a while over the last few days, and was very happy to finally see some coordinates come out the other end!

After not finding this one the first time around I moved on to #04, and then came back to this one. I searched high and low, far and wide, for what seemed like an eternity, and was stoked to eventually find the well hidden cache at +4 E of the coordinates I had worked out. Phew! Who would have thought it would be so hard to find Large sized caches.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Gwiber!
