International geocaching day & I was heading to the event at the winery. So I went a few hours early to pick up some others in the area.
I had "found" this one before - just not been able to reach it. Today I had the necessary tool but the cache was missing.
I found part of it about 10m away down the track but the contents & lid were nowhere to be seen. I took what was left of the cache to the even to return it to the CO

Once you've seen this puzzle, you quickly add it to your bag of tricks. Has come in handy quite a few times. Parked a bit further away than I needed as I really hadn't planned my route very well. But always good to get some more exercise. Had a motorbike speed past me but otherwise enjoyed the solitude. Had a bit of a look around GZ and my iPhone wasn't settling very well so eventually resorted to the clue. Oh - hope my lack of preparation wouldn't cause me any problems and it didn't.

This caused me some grief and I hadn't worked this one out in time for my run up to this beautiful area on Wednesday. But I finally cracked the code. I'd never seen anything like this before. That's very clever. Now with a set of coords to work with and after reading the hint and the past logs, this was one of my targeted caches today before the event at the winery. I'd come prepared and had my TOT in the back of the car and I was really grateful that GZ was not anywhere near any prying eyes. My TOT did the trick, I was worried at home that what I had may not be high enough but it was. Log signed and cache replaced. Thanks for another quality cache.

Well I had worked it out & I found it, but I couldn't get it. By the time I came back from all the other caches the hardware store would have been closed. I'll be back!
I dropped by the hardware store today to acquire the right equipment. Luckily they were open at the crack of dawn! And luckily the GZ spot wasn't too far from the car to carry the equipment as it was quite heavy! But once there, it made the retrieval and signing very easy. Thanks JJCC's Mum
Another one I have followed Blossom's foot steps on. Strange puzzle just needed to find the right toolbox to crack

Got a notification that this cache was about so had a look knew the code used as had been looking at it myself, soon had the coordinates calculated. Headed out fir the cache Sunday afternoon and a nuce walk along the trail aoart from almost getting hit by a guy on a trailbike. Well got to GZ and after a bit of a wander around came across the cache. s bit of a stretch to grab the cache. Sd igned the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Splitty Miller JJCC

After walking back to the car from another cache a new notification came through for this cache and immediately I recognised the coordinate system used. A quick google later and coordinates were at hand...30 meters from the car. It then took 10 minutes to get the container down, but luckily there is something at GZ which can be utilised...plus height. Could almost be an impossible retrieve and replacement if you are short..ish. FTF @ 6:23pm. TFTC Splitty Miller JJCC
