The sun was shining and my other half was heading off to the gym so I decided this would be a good opportunity to grab a few caches. I went for a stroll and ended up here. The cache was a quick easy find and I like how it blended in so nicely with it's surrounds. An interesting thing to go and see. TFTC #282
Out for the morning in the Devonport area with the parents so decided to pick up a few caches after brunch.
Thought we had found it straight away but it turned out to be a piece of rubbish! Never mind, the cache was soon located and another log signed.

Quick find while doing some errands. No one around so no trouble making the grab. TFTC
Got the nearby earthcache so wandered along to this one keeping pace with the yachts and their slaves. Can't believe we have never even noticed the guns before and saw an article this morning about the hard times RSA's are having. Sure enough this one has a sign saying it is closed. Hint was very helpful. PINO TFTC
So cool! Great idea! Cool cache. Cool find. Thanks!! Hint (just read about then hint)
(887) Had a couple of hours to kill while by bike was having its service. So why not grab some caches while in the area. TFTC
When we first saw the gun I was scared this could take a while, the gun had lots of hidy holes, but we manned to find it almost immediately. Keeping our voices down as we could hear people just over the fence we signed the log and continued on our walk.

A quick find night caching with FMZ thanks to the hint, and of course because GZ was absent of any muggle problems at this time of night. Thanks!
For some reason I had avoided this cache for a long time thijnking it would probably be really difficult, but a quick read of the description tonight, with slieschke, and no, it doesn't look that hard. And it wasn't. TFTC!!!
quick easy find. Perhaps a little too easy. Have tucked it away a little better for the next person.

Muggler arrived as we were searching but we had under control and shortly after that cache was in our hands.

Out with Reveurs and Anastriel after work to get up their totals. It was impossible to get the first time we drove by, with a muggle sitting in a car right in front of it. But as we drove by a second time the coast was clear and we had a quick find. TFTC.
We were attempting to get a lot of caches after work today so Reveurs and I could hit our goals before the end of the year. At first there was a muggle parked right at GZ so we drove on but returned on our way back and the coast was clear. Lycurgon found the cache pretty quickly. TFTC.
I had wanted to get to 350 caches before the end of the year and totally forgot, until Saturday. . . So out with Lycurgon and friend to try and get closer. TFTC
I was fortunate I was caching with a friend as I was blind as a bat. Was it the rain? Maybe, but I'd looked right over it and moved off. Oops. My friend found it and so I managed not to have a DNF here on my last morning. I've had a blast here over the last few days, and am looking forward to coming back, as it seems I've hardly dented the surface with my finds here.
Argh, our track record with gun caches is not the best but we decided to give it a go anyway. Maybe it was the fact we were searching in the dark that facilitated a pretty quick find for us. TFTC
Out for a MEGA day of geocaching with Earthbound Chief & Co. A quick easy find. TFTC.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. This one was a repeat visit, just could not lay our hands on it the first time. Luckily today the force was strong, and the cache was ours. Thanks again for the hide.

Had looked for previously and had been unable to find. Not this time! clever hide.
Last one for the day and plenty of cars parked at GZ to provide the Lonely cacher a bit of cammoflage. Soon in hand and returned to its spot without disturbance

Lovely day for caching!
Dropped in to RSA garage sale and thought I'd pick up a cache as well.

My second day's caching in NZ this trip around North Shore Hospital where my mother in law is recovering, after a quick visit, leaving my wife, off to do some caching.
An easy find, and a handy pit stop.

I used to work just around the corner from this gun; on countless occasions arriving by bus and disembarking at the stop right in front if it - without any idea this cache was there. Now I no longer work in that place but was back for a flying visit and grabbed the cache on the way. Very cool. TFTC
Walked here carrying my girl in my arms and she was too when her feet touched the ground. Lucky this was an easy find as I could not have been too distracted looking for this while baby SL was close to the road. Once the cache was located, showed her and she ran towards it. I quickly signed the log while she was busy exploring the wonderful camo container. Placed the cache back where I found it and again carried baby SL to the next one.
Went for a walk at lunchtime to get myself back into caching thanks to evilno9! Good easy find on a beautiful summers day! TFTC
Walking back towards work with MissDines and wanted to grab one more before lunch was over. Few cars to contend with but no people around and we were able to make the find without any hassle. Pew pew - TFTC
Was driving past this one after grabbing a few caches nearby. Nice quick grab. TFTC
Popped over to the shore for an hour this evening with the Future Finder to fill up another month on the calendar matix. Had just bought the FF an ice cream when I noticed that this cache was literally across the road from us. Moseyed on over for a quick find before heading back home. Cheers for the cache placement!
Had been from Glenfield to Milford, and was heading home. RSA was really busy today, and drove around block twice before finding a parking spot. Sent Master Dean to retrieve. He loved finding this, and thought it was a great hide. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Out and about caching this morning, making the most of the good weather.
Noone around here this morning, I quite like that some of the RSA's are well defended! TFTC

A quick find here. An interesting location particularly when the toastmasters are meeting as they were tonight! I just hope that will such thin walls, they realise that their voices travel very easily. Leant against the fence while signing the log and had to smile at their topic of discussion tonight. TFTC
A wee bit squished between the fence and the gun but quick find. Great cammo blends in well. TFTC.
Neat spot hidden on the old gun.Log is full and also a bit soggy probably could do with a replacement.
Fairly early on a damp morning so didn't have to dodge the fire of passing muggles. The log is full and needs replacing. TFTC
Quick find thanks to the hint. It is a beautiful warm evening for some geocaching. TFTC
almost gave up searching but eventually found it, extremely well placed and blends right in
