Hasn't been found in over a year, I had a look at this one today and it's missing wps.
CO has had time to replace this after multiple DNFs...

If you have no response from the cache owner after 30 days then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.

Noticed this hasn't been fixed, and we didn't get a reply to our email to CO a number of months ago..
Today beauitful day as drive to Queanbeyan caches area and got wp1 and wp3 but DNF for wp2 and we workout for final location to see no right place and unable to find... DNF for today... Disappointment for us to visit Canberra for weekend.. Thanks
Hey All..
Went on an epic hunt for this one...
WP2 is about 300m out.. But a bit of a drive up the road we located a place that matched the description.
WP3 is about 30m out... But found what we think is the right sign, the only one anywhere near the co-ords with a phone number..
At the GZ, the co-ords point directly to a tree.. No Cache there.... Hints kinda point a bit further down the hill, had a look around and only found a box of syringes... Went for a 3rd look, but was getting late and some not so friendly folk were hanging round.. Decided to give it a miss for a while..
Might some checking of the WP's to get them right The S's...
Thanks Anyway.

They had a construction going on at WP1 but info necessary could be retrieved nevertheless. Did the calculations over and over but at the resulting coords there is nothing as described for WP2. Strong suspicion that this multi might be broken.
Very confused...almost certain we got the maths right but arriving at waypoint 2 there was nothing as described...
Cache replaced.... due to flooding and higher than previous water levels we relocated this to the hate side of the water... Therefore additions needed to be made to the instructions
After negotiating all the waypoints again final waypoint was indeed about 4 meters underwater during recent flooding, so as I got here and cache not maintained I'll log a find unless owner wants to revisit cache and make sure its ok/gone.
Area of final waypoint (cache) ravaged by recent floooding, water Rose well above human height on the trees etc, owner may like to make sure cache is still ok.
After going to the wrong spot I then found the right co-ordinates got it no probs
Can anyone help me out? I was excited about getting my first travel bug but this cache is nowhere to be seen

Well and easy and very enjoyable stroll out with the geo-hound this morning whilst taking a study break. I was however extremely disappointed to realise I didn't have my phone (and therefore no camera) with me as the point from WP3 to GZ was really very worthy. I love finding new places - don't you? Cache itself was somewhat exposed so I re-hid it with the available coverage although not sure how stable that stuff is. ....oh yes....PS ....where is the Oak?
A nice way to spend a quiet Mon morning. Finding a route to GZ was an adventure in itself! Quick find once I stopped scratching around the 'obvious place' & actually checked the GPS readings.
[If you decide to explore around the] railway bridge pillar [near Waypoint 3, be aware - there's a colony of bees living in a buried car right next to it, so it's probably not the best spot to start digging around!]
Finding out all the answers was really fun. It took us a while to work out how the get to GZ, we had to quit in the middle of it to pick up someone from the doctor and then came back to it. A long walk to get to GZ but it was worth it. Took TB in exchange for a geocoin. Thanks.
Well on my way to three hundred caches this was my 299th. Liked this multi, going to all the WP and stuff.

Thanks a lot for this cache. Brings back fond memories from the time we lived in QBN. Did many walks along the river and played often with kids on the starting point playground. Was nice to revisit. Swapped car for wolf.

Ju, mr-roo and I had a great drive through Oaks Estate today, we had not been through here before (apart from the main road) and it is a lot larger then I thought. We worked out the WP's easily and Ju had fun on the parks as a bonus
On our way to GZ we even got to see the inbound train pass overhead, a second bonus for Ju - she loved it. Once GZ we searched the obvious spot but didn't come up with the find so we expanded out search. After about 10mins mr-roo headed back to our original spot and made the find. It was quite obvious once we spotted it, I don't know hoe we missed it the first time[B)]. Thanks for the tour.

"That is not an Oak Tree" Took me two months to do this cache from WP1 to GZ. But in the end was worth it. TFTC.
Very nice way to spend an afternoon. Oaks Estate is such a nice place, will have to venture down this way more often.

Thanks for not taking the TBs! It was my responsibility to grab them. Clearly I had been lazy.
Dropped in to grab Boomerang and Lifeboat Man after their race. Clearly the Aussie was the winner. Will get around to sending them off again.

Had picked up the WP's on a previous visit, but had time today to get to the GZ.
What an odd little forgotten corner of the ACT - I had never realised it was here! (which Police station covers this area?!?!?!!?)
Nearly walked away with the two TB's in here, but then I realised that they had been in a race to get here and shouldn't be moved on! Close!

Found safe and well, recorded visit and noted contents but distracted by major dog fight down by the river with owner's voice raised. Left all intact. Interesting location.
Found this one with Rick.
Nice area...
Had to find this one in order to drop off 'Lifeboat Man' which i picked up last week in Melbourne. Unfortunately he lost the race with 'Boomerang' by three months.

Had to come back a second time to complete this one, first attempt it got dark and started raining....

Good multi with clear instructions. Completed this over two visits, the first visit was at night where I found the coordinates for GZ. Returned during the day to find the cache and appreciate the location. This would have been a great place to grow up as a kid.

Not sure the cache was there yesterday But with a new pair of eyes got the cache in 5 mins. The site is overlooked by a park and would not be surprised if a muggle or two know about and mess with this cache.
Easy to find if you just stick to the WP coords - don't be distracted by previous logs.
Took TB and left two TB's. One is Boomerang which was on a race from the UK (against "Lifeboat man" and has now won it; this cache being the final destination.

Don't know how I can possibly have the wrong coords... and spent a lot of time hunting, but not luck. Seem out of options, but I must find this one. Have a Boomarang TB which started in the UK which needs to end up in this cache!
Thanks for the hunt. A nice clean cache! Left Smiley Geocoin and Free Willy Koala TB. TFTC

As my closest unfound, I decided to finally knock it off my list. Wandered around Oaks Estate this morning and then dragged the GeoDad back this afternoon for a walk. Nice cache.

A nice outing to an interesting part of "Canberra"! You could do the WPs from a car with good eyesight or binoculars but there is a walk involved to GZ that is definitely unavoidable! Got distracted a bit by the 'forgotten oak' (now nearly dead) but found cache near GZ. TFTC
This was a fun cache, poor Wasptor didn't enjoy the N.S.W drivers though.... going to GZ was abit of fun, never thought I was able to jump that far Thanks for the cache!
I think Fraggles knew I was going to rant about Oak's Estate drivers in this one... lol
-rant-
Started off with a guy just backing out in front of me. Swerved into the other lane while on the horn. Pulled up next to him at the next intersection to give him a questioning look. Apologetic wave returned.
And then someone at WP2 decided to play chicken with me!! Driving on the wrong side of the road so you can park facing a certain way, with a car coming the other way is not a good idea. Flashed my lights as we approached each other, and then he just stops. I started out this cache thinking I liked the area, but I think it would just drive me bonkers living there!!!
-/rant-
Anywho, loved this cache... Enjoyed the river, and the jump. Nice park opened by someone who's not in the public favour atm, and just a nice cruise around the area. TFTC.

(#136) Found with Team Dean. Definately a forgotten part of the ACT. Great cache cache! TNLN TFTC!!
Hey Great,
Was wondering about the changes and congratulations it works. Found it with the boys (mine) and the geohounds really enjoyed the history of the area.

After a visit to the 2nd location we have made changes to relect the changes in the area
#355 - The resourceful Merekats managed to find this one despite the missing the slide. (I note a maintenance log has already been added.) Some logical deduction from the equation and a visit to a couple of possible venues soon revealed WP3 and hence the GZ. Saw a blue crane on the way through. We hadn't explored this part of Qbn before.

Found WP1 and went to WP2, however we didnt get any further as the Slide is no longer there.
Was out with Team Dean and got to WP2, a nice new park is there but the powers that be decided no slipprey dip for the kiddies. Was way too cold to try and guess the next waypoint......
Started this one late tonight, but unfortunately construction work at WP2 prevented me from finding the cache. This one needs to be archived temporarily.
This is quite an interesting suburb here. Found WP1 even though I forgot to bring the co-ords with me then went to WP2. There is an issue here as the playground is being redone and the slippery dip is gone. I then took an educated guess for WP3 and after some driving up and down figured out what must be WP3 and then back towards GZ. After having to cross the river spent some time trying to locate the cache without success. Rang Big Matt and Shell who happened to be nearby and came down to assist with the search. With so many fallen leaves at the moment everything is half buried and if it weren't for them cache wouldn't have been found. Thanks for a nice tour.
The park at WP2 is undergoing some renovations so the slippery dip referred to in the questions is not there
An enjoyable traipse around this hidden area with a long but mostly forgotten history, but huge potential. The kids enjoyed the first 2 waypoints, and were reluctant to leave, but the lure of a cache convinced them in the end - well not really, they aren't all that keen on multicaches (especially at the end of a long mornings caching), but the senior team members are, so they were over-ruled - amazing what starting the car and moving of will do for their motivation. Found the cache alive and well. TFTC

What a great little multi. Pity the area needs a facelift badly. One of the houses looks like the next time it blows the whole place will come tumbling down. I must add that the area is under going a change and the new owners seem to be pumping money into thier properties, so hopefully this area will have a revival. Loved the old railway station and the GZ. Thank you for a great cache.

331 - Second cache for the lunchtime run today.
A nice quick drive around this area picking up the clues - one had me thinking of two answers for a while - until getting down to the final GZ.
A nice little walk in and soon had the nice sized cache in hand.
Took a couple of TBs to keep them on their way.

Quick drive around the parks to collect the info.Had to back track when we realised where GZ was. Enjoyed the walk though to find the cache, even tasted some of the blackberries that are ripe at present - reminded us of wild berry collecting when we were kids.

Ducked out for a quick ride to grab my first cache in Australia. After living in Florida, the lack of humidity was refreshing. Didn't take long to get around all the points. Did get a little hairy on the bike on the final leg to the destination (those who have claimed this will understand)! No time for back tracking, that is what suspension is for!
Dropped off a couple of TBs that have made the journey with me from the US. TFTH!

Did the waypoints for this one over the Aussie Day long weekend, but no time to try for GZ when I saw it was a little further 'down' from where I was.
An e-mail to the owners confirm my GZ location (thanks again for that ) and then went back today to find the cache.
Left the GPS in the car as I thought I knew the area and that it would be and easy find. Wrong!!. Back to the car to collect the GPS, co-ords input and had the cache in hand within a few minutes. Of course it was about 2 feet away from an area I was looking in before retreiving the GPS, but I guess you get that.

Had started this one way back in February (although I think I wrote last year in my log) but ran out of time that lunchtime to finish it.
Was over this way doing my other hobby (cricket umpiring) when stumps was called early due to the weather.
Nice walk to GZ. Didn't take long to find the cache although it wasn't quite where I expected either.
Took nothing, left allrounder pathtag & crab magnet.
Collected "Minnie the Koala" TB.

#597 Enjoyable wander around a forgotten part of the ACT. Cache would be a lot harder to find during the warmer months but the judicous application of the probe soon detected its hiding place. Left our mark and continued on our adventure.
Finding the clues for this one was a breeze and the day was turning into one of those magnificent winter days we were keen for a bit more of a walk. The frost and mud made the trip to the GZ interesting but got there eventually and found reasonably quickly.
While I was signing the log the neighbours opened up with bombs and automatic gunfire! They certainly start shooting early in the morning round here!
A great cache, thanks to The S's.

Nice cool morning to go caching after the rain. Had Little One with me, she was very happy to have parks to play in at the first two Waypoints (although dragging her away from them was another matter).
Had been a bit wary about doing this one with her after the initial reports of snakes, but figured the weather at this time of year probably meant they would be sleeping somewhere.
For some reason Little One was paranoid about ants on the ground, so she wouldn't get off my shoulders at the GZ, very hard to search with an unhappy two year old on your shoulders.
However once we located the container she was quite happy to get down an rummage through the toys.
Took geocoin.

Canberra gets a bit snobby about Oaks Estate, and yet this morning I found it quaint with neat little cottages, two lovely little parks, some historical scenery and a nice river view. Very pleasant near the river.
This was an easy multi and simple fun.
I remembered the Queanbeyan railway station because my niece had beautiful wedding photos taken there.
]
Of course why would I look for a foot bridge when I can drive all the way and then walk in further?
[
Thanks Ss - I enjoyed this

Ended up initially 15metres off due to calculations but found it eventually. Had to avoid a muggle and dog who were a little curious... Left "The Barrel" TB, TN. Cheers.
A nice cache, although perhaps a little less enjoyable in the rain (not that we want to ever complain!). All worked out and we found fairly easily. TNLNSL thanks.
An excellent multi - really enjoyed it. Missed the train
by "that" much. Wildlife consisted of only 1 rabbit.

Found without too much trouble. A forgotten area, apart from for those who need somewhere to dump and burn their stolen cars! TNLN. TFTC. Cheers, aussieangel.
Found with Tate Alec, Thought it'd be a simple walk to get us in the swing for the day. Had to go the long way around. When we got to the GZ we found we could have driven very close to it. OH well.
I didn't know that this little area of QBN existed.
Nice small multicache, but Tatsu oz and I had to take the long way round to the GZ.

I had planned to do this cache last week but ran out of time, so it was good to have another couple of new caches to bring me back to the area. It's sad to see how dry everything is, which makes the WPs look quite run down. The picnic table near the GZ has certainly seen better days - I don't know that it would be too much fun to picnic there now with that snake lurking around! I was wondering if I needed to cross at the railway line when a train came across - then I found the alternate crossing point & felt a bit like I was "walking the plank".

Found this one this afternoon with the kids. I made a couple of minor mistakes with coordinates and choices to the waypoint that required a small amount of backtracking, but nothing too major.

Found on a warm afternoon cruising around the Queanbeyan area. A good multi that takes you to a couple of points without being overly taxing.
Startled several rabbits as I approached GZ. When I reached into the hiding place, I came out covered in ants! They were all over that side. When replacing the cache, I worked out it was ant-free and easier to access the hiding spot from the other side. That's geocaching for you
A train also went past while I was here, which I think is becoming a bit of a rarity these days.
Picked up the Unite for Diabetes TB, which I will move in next week (left nothing).
TFTC, very enjoyable

This was certinly an interesting set of locations. I did not feel it safe to cross, so I had to go round and the walk was much further. Nice area

A cache I'll not soon forget.
Found each stage of the multi easily. On the way to the final GZ we passed a home-made sign that read "BEWARE SNAKE". I had just finished making fun of the sign to Mrs MOS6510, when I almost stepped on a 70cm long brown snake!. I jumped in terror but the snake just kept on its merry way. We were "on edge" for the rest of the walk, so that large Water Dragon that scurried across the path at my feet a few mins later didn't help our nerves much!
I've lived in the area for 10 years now and didn't know that the trail near GZ existed. A well thought out cache and good fun too. Thanks.

We often drive through this area but have not looked at anything off the main road. Thanks for the tour! T:TB.
