Out for a pootle up the mountain. No joy with this one. Will come back another day.
Out adventuring around these beautiful mountains. Unfortunately didn't find this one today, but we will be back to try again another day!

We decided it be would be nice to do a run from The Gap, over Mt. Glorious, to Lake Wivenhoe today.
Every now & then you just have to escape suburbia.
Nicely placed & hidden cache.
Took some serious searching in between muggles but still a quick find.
Kudos to the Geo-partner for coming up with this one!
Signed & replaced as found.
Great spot & great views!
Took TB.

Spent ages looking but just couldn't spot it today, great view, thanks for bringing it to me
TFTC after some difficulty with the compass jumping we found it .. Very clever left a TB
Snuck past the track closure barrier and found after quick search. Beautiful views! TFTC!
Scooted around the barricade and located the cache. There are lots of mossy rocks but this was an awesome hide! TFTC!
A group of us (Misssusan, Lisylou, LuckyLotte, K8nCo, Mrs K8nCo, MonkeyMaker, Lost2Found, Curare63 and 2 muggle friends) decided to do this cache after doing the Palm Gully cache. Nice easy find by Misssusan. TFTC! Now we are off to have a yummy lunch at a nearby cafe.
After walking into Palm Gully we stopped to find this one on the way to lunch.
Thanks for bringing me to the lookout ruzzelz. I did wonder why there was the gravel patch on the way out. This is certainly a great spot that many people wounldnt know was here if it wasnt for this cache.

On the way up the mountain this morning I stopped in for a find but my phone was telling me I should jump the railing and go bush for a few meters. I figured that wasn't right so I looked around from the track a bit but kick off for the walk was getting closer so I took off.
On the way back from a stroll to Palm Gully a group of us pulled in for a look. This morning the view was a cloud, nothing more but come midday it was amazing. Even with a clear sky my phone had it's mind elsewhere but as I glanced over, misssusan looked mighty suspicious. Those short legs do come in handy for somethings hey.
Cheers ruzzelz

After a little walk to palm gully the group stopped here before heading for lunch. A quick find by misssusan, don't tell anyone we found it she said, we let the others search a little longer so I checked out the view and giggled at monkeymaker before motioning to misssusan that she may have it. Thanks for the cache and the view. Time for lunch now.
What a great location! I even had a young goanna walk leisurely past me on the path. Phone gps was going crazy but the hint saved the day. Favourite point from us. Tftc
This cache was found late afternoon on the homeward journey from a great 'Straya Day caching adventure to Diana's Bath. After the not so scenic drive out for a Bath, the Crookedclan said goodbye to the rest of the adventurers and took the scenic route home over Mt Glorious.
Found a convieniant carpark, which enabled my very tired kids to admire the view from the car. So, I made the short walk to the cache and found it quickly despite the not-so-smart phones navigational ineptitude.
I briefly admires the view - a few new caches to be found just over there, but that's another day. All in good order.
Thanks Russelz

Walked by this one back on 20th December, and noticed it was here, but in the excitement of nearing the car after a very long morning walk up and down and up and down, forgot to look for the cache when I got here.
Today made another trip for another two caches I'd walked past without knowing (They involved lots of up, down, up, down, too!) so stopped by on the way back for this one. An easy find when no muggles about. No swaps today. TFTC, ruzzelz, and happy caching in 2015.

Found with 'the neighbs' while out with muggle friends in between the showers of rain. TFTC
Found with 'sesblocker' and muggle friends while taking a drive to avoid cabin fever. Found after around 10 minutes. TFTC
TFTC Beautiful location even on a misty rainy day. Took nothing left nothing . No trackable in cache.
A nice place sit and eat lunch following the 23 klm Go Go Anna circuit. Nice easy find, if you know what your looking at.
I was cooling off after a walk up Northbrook Mountain and decided to stop to have a looksy at this little look out. I had had some great views already that morning, but always nice to get some more.
After doing the touristy thing I set about to looking for a cache and found it reasonably quickly after checking the hint.
Thanks Ruzzelz for the views and a nice hide!

In the area having a picnic lunch with Chip and her Dad. We stopped by here on the way to purchase some honey from a wonderful shop surrounded by rainforest. Great views, Chip's Dad did not know that the look out existed.
Our only QLD cache for the trip.

After a long walk this morning out Mt Nebo way I took the chance to grab a couple of easier caches on the way back home. Arrived to find a motorcyclist standing by his bike close to GZ playing on his phone. Went down to the lookout to admire the view and after a while he moved on which left me free to search undisturbed. A good simple hiding spot that took me a while to locate. Tftc
Great find. Nice spot 'near the mossy rock'. The lookout itself is easy to miss - it's a pretty concealed spot if you're not looking for it. Great view. TFTC

Cold wet day today. Needed to get the Geokids out of the house. Set off to find this cache with the clan. Under umbrella geomum made the find. Tftc
Saw a lot of the hints with tree cover but found after a few short moments. Time to head down the mountain.
Mrs Gunnie and I were visiting the sculpture gardens, enjoying a walk through the national park and having a well earned lunch afterwards... As we dined, I recalled a cache nearby that I have only driven past once and never got up this way again since...
Prior to setting off home, I darted off in the other direction and scanned the GPS for the cache... Aha, only a few hundred metres, excellent... [^] A convenient parking spot, a view to occupy my non caching wife, everything fell into place and I took the short stroll to GZ...
I scanned the wrong side first, only to turn around and note a very likely hiding spot... Yup, that'll be it and with that, I pulled the container from its lair... Name in the log, I tucked the cache back, returned to enjoy the view, then hit the road home. We only got a couple of kms before we were pulled up short by the local constabulary as they stopped the traffic to enable a motorcyclist to be pulled out of the wreckage on the side of the road... I guess all too common, but not good...
Cache is all safe and dry. Cheers Ruzzelz.

Today we headed to Brisbane via Mt Glorious Rd as we have never driven this road before. We had morning tea just down the road from here. This lookout is one of those places that we would have driven past if it wasn't for Geocaching.
After enjoying the views and taking a couple of photos we found the cache and added our name to the log book.
Thanks for our first ruzzelz Cache.

Most of my finds today had been in fairly clear spot, where there were no muggles around. As soon as I saw the name of this one though I had a good expectation of finding others nearby.
Of course there was a group of people around taking photo's off the lookout, and what could have been another cacher or a few hanging around near to where I eventually found GZ.
So waiting and taking my own photos soon found me in the area by myself. I wandered along and soon enough found what I was looking for. It does seem others had been here today though, so who knows if it was the people here just before me or others earlier in the day.

On the way back through town after a nice picnic lunch our big mob descended upon the lookout, probably annoying the trio sitting peacefully on the seat. After admiring the view, most headed back to the cars but I ventured down the track a bit in search of moss. Not hard to find the perfectly shaped spot.
Took red ball rubber, left blue flower. A solo photographer with a big tripod followed us to the view then wandered down the track as we left. I did wonder, was he also a cacher? Now that I see the previous log, I know it was. Nice to nearly meet you, OrionJ.

This was the first cache for the day. What a view . We had 3 caches planned for the day with about a 27km walk . This was our start and finish location . This was just lovely to stop at and relax for a few minutes to catch our breath
Nice quick find in a very neat hiding spot. Looks custom made for the container. Listed trackable is not in cache, have posted a note to the owner. TFTC ruzzelz
A quick little find after lunch up here. Sadly, twas cloudy today, so we needed to imagine how lovely it would look on another day!
Thanks ruzzelz!

Got stuck behind a coach coming up the mountain! *groan*
Geohubby was expecting that we were heading to the lookout and I was counting down the metres, so when we came round the bend and saw the lay-by on the side of the road I called out Over There!! Really? He said. YES!! So, now to locate the cache... Just as my 3G dies. Great! Ok. Clue said.... Hmm. Gotta be over here. Eventually I found it, signed and returned just in time as we were about to get muggled! Of all the lay-bys in all the mountain... Lol.

We headed up to Mt Glorious for a picnic lunch and decided to find a few caches on the way. We had to wait for a group of muggles to move on and once they walked off down the track we were able to conduct a quick search and soon found the cache. The hint is not entirely correct though. There is not TB in the cache despite one being listed. TNLNSL TFTC
I fantastic day of geocaching, bush walking and catching up with Dvette and ArpArp. TFTC
Bf1 & bf2 done today. Feeling renewed after coffee nearby so talked my driver to go 300 meters away for this. Tftc.
One muggle walking past made this a little difficult, but he walked off so we got the stash then noticed he was walking back so we retreated with the stash to the car to fill out the log and wait for the muggle to move on before we could return it to its hide.

Only find today at 12:25.
Before an afternoon walk to Greene Falls I drove a little further to find this cache. I originally set off in the wrong direction from the "car park" but after turning around from the approaching muggles I stopped to take a happy snap. When the muggles got to the view they also stopped to admire and I didn't think I'd have the opportunity to find it. Thankfully, they didn't hang around long and I was able to dash back for a quick find.
Great weather for geocaching and bush walking today.

Found this one after getting Go Go Go Anna with Swellerfungus. We drove to it as we were too buggered to climb the stairs from trail. A beautiful lookout it is.
A mossy rock eh.....wonder how many mossy rocks there were when this cache was hidden. I'm sure more moss has grown since meaning there's lots of mossy rocks!!! But Swellerfungus managed to locate the cache.
Thanks ruzzelz for this one, great to look out and ponder our earlier walk.

While in the area for a long walk to Go-Go-Go Anna, we bypassed the opportunity to walk up from the track below, opting instead to take the Park'n'Grab! Took a little while to find until we realised that 'no need to leave the path 'in Ruzzelz world means 'well not much!'
Thanks for a great view!

Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby looking for a great place to put a cache. Nyssa had one area in mind and we needed to investigate that area which Nyssa visited as a child and this cache was just off the main road. Nyssa kindly drove me close to GZ and left me to search for the cache. I wanted to go too far down and Nyssa suggested not! Cache found easily after that.

What better to do with a dreary, drizzly school holiday day then pack all your munchkins and great caching mate into your Spangle and head out over the mountains to see what you can see? Oh, while you're at it why not find a cache or two? Net88, my three munchkins and I all piled into my beasty and headed west. One of my caching missions for the year is to clear as many caches as I can in this area.
We parked close to GZ and headed down the stairs to the look-out. When we reached GZ we all spread out and started searching. We searched and then we searched and then we searched some more. Net88 read a few logs and then we realised we needed to extend the search area just a tad. After that the cache was found safe and well in it's hidey hole. Signed the log and replaced cache as found.

Found this cache during a day of caching with Nyssaflutterby and all three of the munchkins. It took us a little to find this cache as we had ruled out that spot for ages since it wasn't "on the path" after getting fed up and reading the logs i told nyssaflutterby we had to expand our search and then we found it easily Thanks for the cache ruzzelz

Out today with IolantheK collecting a few caches via water on both Somerset & Wivenhoe.
We'd finished the water caches and on our way home we decided to collect a this one as it was "on the way".
IolantheK and I had previously looked for this cache after another event where we went to the "Palm Gully" cache. That search was cut short by a torrential downpour (as can happen in this neck of the woods). This time however without the rain and under torch light IolantheK made a quick find [^]. With this being the final find of the day we headed home, really
The Cache is dry and in good condition.

We had attempted this one before back in January, but got absolutely soaked as the heavens opened while we were admiring the view, so we hastily retreated to the car. After sitting there for 20 minutes waiting for the deluge to subside, we gave up and headed home.
This time it was our last find for the day, and it was almost dark, so we had the real torch and the iPhone torch showing the way. The view from the "window" was still quite impressive [^] We reached GZ quickly and began the search, and I did need to head slightly off the path to make the find. All is in good condition. TFTC, ruzzelzz.

Ayepeacee and I were out driving around the forest today with apc munchkin in the backseat, chatting away, happy, like us, to be out and about on a beautiful day. He did not want to cache, so we left him in the car to play Angry birds while we looked for this cache. We looked. And looked a bit more. And extended the search. Then looked at the hint. Then searched some more. Hmm, dont think this one is meant to be this hard, so unless we are blind as bats i think it may have gone walkabout. At least i hope so, because we feel like we searched every nook and cranny here without bush bashing off the path entirely. Nonetheless its a gorgeous spot so thanks for bringing us here Ruzzelz. ^^
Took a little while due to rain and poor early morning light but we found it. Lovely spot.

Found today as part of the Diana's Bath party. I missed it from point blank range but fortunately someone else was right behind me to make the grab. All good within and without. TFTC ruzzelz!
After a wonderful walk down to the Gully of Palms our little group was headed to Maiala and I noticed this icon about to zoom past. Not one to drive past a cache I pulled over for the hunt. GPS was a bit bouncy so started hunting methodically. A few muggles came past so had to wait for them to leave. Nothing spotted without leaving the track so I picked one mossy rock and two steps from the track I came up trumps. Signed log and replaced and wandered back to check out the view. Yes, indeed a great view. TFTC, thanks for making me stop here Ruzzelz
A nice, easy find after our trek to Palm Gully, then a bbq lunch at the nearby picnic area. Fangsoki confirmed that the cache has been moved a bit, as you now have to step down off the track a meter or so to retrieve it . After signing the log, i replaced it where i found it.

Darn it ... I was going to regale you with a short history of some small bird. But I now forget what breed of bird it was.
Arrived at GZ on the way to a nearby long long hike in the bush. This one was said to be a shorter walk. I've driven past here a couple times in my life, but never did I realise that such a window view was here. THis place is worth the stop most certainly.
And, yes, the cache wasn't that long a walk. Easy find, grab, signed log, and ...
uhoh, muggles arrive to stand right there. No way I can return cache without attracting questions. So container safely in my pocket I casually walk back to my car parked right there. What are these muggles doing?
Bird Watchers.
They walked here it seems from the village, which is why I didn't hear them coming. They're settling in for a long look it seems. A bunch of little brown birds up in the trees. I dunno a bird from a beaver, although I think one of them has wings, but what they hey, I'll say G'day. They then proceeded to regale me with a short history of these birds, not commonly seen as active as this at this time of the year, but not a rare bird as such.
I must have glazed over because they stopped in mid sentence. Or perhaps a bird did something interesting. No idea. But it did encourage them to move down the pathway away from GZ, and then they all broke into hike-mode and off they went.
At which time I swooped to return cache and get out of there before those mean birds attacked me or something. They were small - about wagtail size, and flitting all over the trees. Doing bird stuff.
And off I went to make my hiking date.
Thanks Ruzzelz. You were a topic of conversation at various times on the hike, so two lots of entertainment from you today!

A nice view. Would have been easily missed without the cache to find. Thanks for the cache.
Even though this was the long way to our destination it was certainly the most picturesque - and this cache capped it all off. A spectacular view which we absolutely loved. We often groan when we see the same old, "thanks for bringing us here" - but thanks for bringing us here.

Discovering Australia, one hide at a time.
This little one was the first of our "on the way home caches" for the day.
Upon arriving at GZ stairman took on the view as the cache was not far and quickly in hand. The container was a little exposed so we signed the log and rehid as best we could. The view from here is quite extroadinary especially with the clouds and fog which was prevalent today. Thanks to ruzzelz for the cache.

Found on the way home from some caches at Mt Glorious. Found with Stairman1 and Doshell. Easy find. Cache was well exposed so we covered it up a little better. TFTC
