As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

I noticed this cache has a string of DNFs prior to a [blue]Needs Maintenance[/blue] log which was posted in Feb 2014. As the cache owner has not maintained this cache in a timely manner in accordance to the guidelines, I am temporarily disabling this cache.
While I feel Geocaching.com can hold this location for a cache owner and block other caches from being placed nearby, it cannot be held forever. ie Use it or lose it.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the [blue]archive listing[/blue] link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing or replacing this cache, please log a reviewer note on the cache page (not email) within the next 30 days to avoid the cache being archived due to non-communication.
Thank you for your cooperation.

DNF: Was on our way to Cromwell for the day and decided to do a few caches that were on our way from Alexander, arriving near GZ, didn't realised that we could drive down to where GZ was so made my way by foot.
Arrived at GZ to find found zero and after a short search no sign of the cache so decided to check the previous logs, dame so many DNF's should have checked the logs first, may need CO to check if the cache is still there, oh well maybe next time, thanks for bringing me here.

Felt a bit drained hunting in the heat with no success but did find a fantastic cache sized hole with nothing in it.
As for previous attempts, plenty of nice spots but no success. Perhaps Cache owner could do a drive by and check it? Cheers anyway.
Had a good look round and have the battle scars to prove it, alas no cache for me today.
... found it ! ... walked to GZ from a pullout near the highway. ... went slip slidin' away down the steep embankment in my flip-flops ! ... fun ... made the grab and steered clear of the nearby ominous lookin' generator type building which had a " Danger High Voltage " sign prominently displayed. ... 5429 + 591 = 6020. Found during our/my NZ Mega visit week.
A nice quick detour for this find. Starting to see many familiar cachers in the logs as I head towards Dunedin !! Thanks again Mcroni !
TNLN - TFTC !!

NZ12. I suppose we have to celebrate the man made features as well as the natural ones. The cache was well hidden in the rocks and took a good ferret around to locate. I was glad to have found it. Thanks.

It took a little while to locate. The terrain-rating isn't too trusty, but an older log gave a hint

Another cache we found on the way back to Dunedin after spending the week skiing in Queenstown.
A not too difficult hide, that we found easily this tme round - we were here last year also, but ended up with a DNF here, as we couldn't see where the cache could be, the ground was covered in snow, so we didn't know that there was a carpark - not that we could have gotten to it anyways! Haha, either way, was much easier this time.
But the prickles did get me on the way to the cache! They grabbed onto me like they didn't want me to find it! lol.
And what a huge tunnel! Wow! We were wondering how long it was! It would be pretty epic, and pretty scary tough to explore that place with a torch ae!

did not really have a chance to look for it last winter in the dark plus snow up to our ears... very different matter in the daylight with the spring in the air - and there is even a road that leads there... we climbed down from the top though as it seemed easy enough, but then had to climb up a bit to the cache itself - TFTC!!
Nice day for finding this although I did get caught up with the prickly bush. No worries.
Another big hole in the hill to drain the slip plains. Thanks for the stop and scramble.
Opted to leave bicycle on the main road and scramble down the bank for a quick find.
Our little car is doing a lot of rock hopping this trip but is coping very well. TFTC
A quick and easy find, although I did get a bit more scratched up getting to it! TFTC
Took the wrong way to find this cache but got there in the end. TFTC. The mirror reflections on the lake today were incredible.
You are not going to beleive this, the cache site looked familiar so went straight to the cache log and found I was there on the 9/03/11. Da! dumb me didn't log it so doing that now
The 92nd find of 150 in 5 days on road trip with Ingidayna. Took TB. TFTC
Sent my Blinky bill TB on it's way to travel the world. Thais to whoever finds and moves him. Tftc
I also think that terrain is off - no way you can get a wheelchair to this one!
I also think needs a hint for its 1 difficulty. Let me know if you want this removed [when facing giant drain, it is to the right and up the slope]

Heading to Millbrooke for couple of nights so thought take the GPS with us and nail a few caches on the way.
D1/T1 hmmmm. D maybe, T maybe not. I think I'm still getting used to this Southern sense of humour. I was away from the car long enough that Mrs KE came to make sure I was okay. A very wet and cold visit today. TFTC.
THese are quite a feat of enginerring, no wonder power bills are quite expensive. A beautiful quiet spot this morning.
Thanks

Another quick find. Managed to drive just about to it and it was quickly in hand with very good co-ords. Junior cacher enjoyed listening to the echo from the tunnel. TNLN, TFTC [^]
Nice quick stop on our way to the Omakau Trots. Mrs Fuzzy hasn't driven this patch of road for many years so it's nice to be here again. TFTC
Had to laugh at this terrain, isn't it supposed to be wheelchair accessible?
Anyway, got my just deserts, as the GPS was making me wander all over the slope.
Eventually found it, and signed the log.
Thanks again Mcroni

No muggles apart from a boat cruising past that may have wondered what the CacheMobile was doing!! Salamat!
Not many places for a cache around here but still enough decoys!! Found reasonably quickly and was find number 6 out of 21 for the day

The car over-heated at this cache site. Lucky we were right beside the lake and had an unlimited supply of water to refill the radiator. Hahah. - rugby card + bouncy ball. TFTC.
Was miffed to be beaten to this one by the youngest Botha! Last find of the weekend in Cromwell. We picked this up on our way home to Invercargill. TFTC
Found while on a trip from Australia to Queenstown for a work conference with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17) who came along for the ride. One of 220 finds for the 8 days we were on the South Island. Out to Cromwell and Alexandra for some more night caching. Thanks for the hide.
Second day/night of our New Zealand South Island Geocaching adventure. With my good mate and caching buddy, Marty (quasar3671). Our entire track was from Christchurch to Queenstown then on to Dunedin and finally back to Christchurch. 220 Caches in all in 7 nights/8 days.
Another night find. GPS had us all over the place here. Well mine anyway, Martys was better and he made the find.
Thanks for the hide.

The trickiest part was working out how to access this one - it was an impressive surprise.
This was a very cool spot to visit. An impressive looking tunnel and nice hide. Drove down to it! TFTC
