Found while staying out here with a friend a little while ago. Completed this area.
A quick find and a cool cache container. If you were waiting for a train here, youd be waiting a while TFTC matmobKeep smiling
Day trip to Robertstown and Eudunda area grabbing many multis and others during the days caching. All caches in good condition unless mentioned in the logs. TFTC Nice and adventurous cache.
A fun place to visit for a train nerd like me! Found with Pat on Father's Day. TFTC
Thanks Matmob. Clever cache What a great little hide. Don't know why we haven't done this before Mrs Unssy's sister lives on this road!
A Sunday drive with the Muggle Wife up north of Kapunda and surrounds. Her interest was the wildlife and stopping at sacred sites and other points of interest to read plaques and enjoy the scenery. Mr Adder also admired the abundance of accompaniments to roast potatoes and gravy.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
A drive up and down the road until we eventually found a way in to GZ. A clever fun container however the outer support is cracked and just holding on so will need some TLC.
.
Thank you for the cache matmob Find Number 9841 on 10/07/2022

The JAMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) along with tallbikestan left home early to head up to Clare for the June Long Weekend and of course we didn't go straight there. We had a few detours along the way which made for an interesting day travelling around stopping at Truro, Eudunda, Worlds End, Burra and Mintaro with the occasional cache in between.
We arrived in Clare with just enough time to check into our accommodation, do a bit of shopping and get to the dinner event. A great start to our weekend. [^]
A quick find here as we drove past.
Thanks for the cache matmob.

Quick find
The JAMS team (( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, and sir_spectre ) plus TallBikeStan for this trip ) are headed off to the 20 th JuneLongWeekend Event in Clare. As you would expect extension poles, blow up kayaks, waders and ladders are in the car. I am sure every one else takes 11 hours to reach Clare from Adelaide, i am also sure via Burra is the logical to Clare . There was many photos taken of the fun times we had, even involving a ladder in the creek and of course many dirt roads ventured down. All caches for the weekend where stamped as JAMS and some more caches where placed on our travels. The missing JAMS member Michells&hound joined us in our B&B in Clare but didn't join with us for the JLWE game. The weather slowly got better over the weekend. It's good to see some gadget and creative caches around Clare that are permeant and not temp game caches.

While spending a month in Eudunda we have been finding a few caches when we have some spare time.
We are surprised this cache has survived as there are obvious signs of frequent visitors to this old historic place. A favourite point is n it’s way.
Many thanks for the hide matmob

The eldest of the Famous IV grew up in Eudunda but doesn't get back that way too often these days. But today I had some business to attend to so took the time to look around, take a drive through some smaller localities, grab a sausage roll at the bakery (the rest of the main street looked very, very quiet with more shops closed than open) and grab a few caches. On the way back home stopped and got a few caches around Kapunda. I used to play tennis at Hampden but not even sure they'd field a team these days. TFTC.
Eudunda trip with the geo-pup, day 4, Eudunda to Robertstown
Thanks for bringing us to Hampton and sharing the history. Pipe is damaged and replaced lid loosely. Fave from us

A detour on the back roads and a hop skip jump to this well hidden cache, I like this very much.
A nice day out caching around eudunda and the surrounding areas, despite the on and off rain all day majority of the caches were easy enough to get to. Total of 39 finds and 1 DNF.
Thanks for the cache

Wasn’t sure what to expect but it wasn’t that! Excellent- thanks for the inventiveness.
Yet another Puzzled Puzzler's Tuesday caching adventure. Oh dear..we are a little light on for crew today. Just me and Mrs. SA Sewer rats. Never mind..we have a plan to find some unloved caches and get Rat qualified for an unloved challenge we want to do later in year. [8)]
The target caches were all up above Robertstown, so of course we took the long way, detouring to some unfound caches along a circuitous route.
I was intrigued by the cache name so we stopped. A short wander, a big leap and we found the obvious. What wasn't obvious was the contents and boy that was a surprise. Well done. A fav point from me.

Brisal5 and Mrs SA Sewer Rat set on a lovely sunny day of caching.
WE had to targets for the day.
One was to get Mrs Rat to Qualify for Unloved cache Challenge in Victoria.
The second was to get her to the 28 caches to get her last Hidden Creature.
By end of the day Mrs rat was 4 short for Hidden Creature, and qualified for the VIC challenge.
A short stroll and a jump up the cache was located.
Loved the container, A fav point from the Rats. TFTC

Another day, another cache find, along with Purrfect Di and Jack.
Di soon had the dummy in hand after a quick walk along the platform.
Left a furry trackable for the next to move along.
Thanks for this one matmob , some interesting history here!

This was another Australia Day find. We enjoyed this one and chose it as a favourite. TFTC matmob.
Love your work.....another one for the memory banks.....
A couple of days out from the SA Mega and I was on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones I attempted were in good shape. I think I will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......

What a fun day this one was! 35 smileys including 2 FTFs while out with Dennisc52 and earthlight for a fantastic day.
We had planned to get to Clare to locus caches but instead we found ourselves at Kapunda and Eudunda
Such is geocaching
Dusk and so out with the hand held sun. Standing listening to the others saying 'I wonder where it is[?]' so I piped up and said 'I can see it!'
They didn't believe me initially so I spat the dummy

Ha ha great cache, couldn't work out what its name meant until we found it. Never heard of this town before, so thanks for taking us there.
Brilliant work on this one, nice to see some effort to make a cache a little bit special.
If you going to spit the dummy you might as well go all the way.

What a strange cache container!
I find it hard to believe that all these pine trees have grown in less than 20 years!

It's hard to believe the rail stopped in the mid 90's,
Looks too overgrown for that space of time...
Thanks for a novel cache

Well of course we LOL'd when we pulled the cache out, a fun hide!
I fear the pines will win this battle in the future, but what a lovely old area and history.

Great find after sending Mrs Crapper Crew off to find it. Couldn't quite get where the name came from until we had it in hand.
Off I went in search of the cache, what a fun idea, had to show Mrs Dolly the container, soon she was at GZ with me having a chuckle, many a dummy spit for us today but we had a great day out. This is my favourite for today!!
Found while out on a caching adventure with some Adelaide Hills Geocachers.
Hardest hide for the day!
Thanks Matmob

I actually caught a train through this station in the late 80's on an excursion to Robertstown. I remember the Wig Wags protecting the crossings at Eudunda. Great place for a cache and memories of times gone past. No children were left behind today, although Freddo was just up the road.
Left a ball. Lots of whorehound seeds in the socks after this one. Made sure they were all out before we moved on. Thanks
Found in a great location with a great cache container.took sniffling lion travel bug, left diabetes travel bug.TFTC matmob.
It's fascinating to see how much nature has reclaimed this platform.
It is also sad to see the demise of Australia's railways. My grandfather used to shovel coal on steam locomotives, and eventually rose to superintendent of SAR's passenger service in Port Pirie. Five other family members have spent some portion of their lives working for SAR or AN. Mr J did his apprenticeship at the Port Augusta AN workshops as a Carriage & Wagon Builder, an almost extinct trade nowadays.
But, luckily finding this cache put a big smile on our faces! At first I didn't see the obvious, so we made our way up and around the platform only to find we'd made it a bit harder for ourselves. Excellent outer container, we try to use this type ourselves as much as possible.
Picked up the Travel Bug that hasn't been logged in here.
Thanks matmob.

Everything about this cache is supersized! Amazing how Nature takes over and fights back, isn’t it? Cache #761.
I do agree with many b4 me, this is a wonderful cache container. It's great to see inovative containers being used to entertain us and make us want to do the same.tftc
Found on my second day caching in this part of Australia. My thanks to matmob for such a well done fun cache.

Cool theme. Luved the cache. Wasn't sure what to expect when i knew the name but was very impressed. Nicely hidden.
On arriving at GZ it was just a matter of going for a short stroll to find the cache... Once there it was easily spotted... Very funny cache and a very good hide... Tks matmob for the cache
Got close to GZ spotted the location and was surprised by the cache inside another unique container. TFTC
One of the more novel cache containers, good one Matmob. It is now hard to imagine the bustle that this place would have been before the demise of the train service.
