Too much trouble caused by the muggled aka smelly toes. Good luck to anyone else who hides a cache in this area. Rodney.
This cache certainly has been well and truly muggled by Smelly Toes. I am a mild mannered person under normal circumstances but Smelly Toes better keep out of my way!!! I will think about a rehide nearby. Rodney
Came to the GZ but instead was greeted by a plastic bag tied to a tree, saying "You have been muggled by Smelly Toes."
Took a while, but got it! Really appreciate the effort with this cache, very good. TFTC
On a fleeting visit to Christchurch to visit my ailing father so I managed to fit in a couple of caches! I didn't take the easiest route to this cache, but found it anyway - enjoyed the nature of the cache. Scores a favourite from me, TFTC
Close by completing the muti so of course had to do this one too. nice walk through the reserve...cache soon in hand with some of the members of the Friday MEGA walking group.
A group find, container is interesting. Thanks for the cache in this nice little park.
Quick find after the multi. Interesting hide. Wet so we did some maintaining for you. Found with the NZM15WG
[green] Day two out and about Christchurch. Yesterday I let my GPS rule- Find Next Closest was all I did. Today I controlled that a bit. Find next closest to set the direction, but then make sure I cache out the area. But first I had to drop my car in for repair - I drove from Blenheim to Christchurch on just three cylinders. That, a wherigo, and stopping in a bicycle shop for some running repairs meant that I only found 40 caches today, down from the 50 yesterday. Still, 40 was my objective, so that's all good.
Great cache - would be a fav if the log book wasn't so wet that I could not sign it.Dropped in an emerald and a path tag. I may have also dropped my Seagnoid stamp here - if you find it please drop me a line.

After searching for a while in the wrong place we found it quite quickly once we homed in on the right area. Nice cache! The kids did some swaps. TFTC!
Checked this out this morning. Logbook is not bad at all. Now inside three bags! Rodney and Iris
Nice reserve, lots of cabbage trees TFTC nearly dark now so was a quick find
Was in the area collecting the other charlesworth cache so it made sense to tick this one off too. Parked up in the Mitre10 Mega car park and walked towards GZ. Unkiemoe found the last one and she knew exactly what she was after and emerged only moments later with a grin from ear to ear, logbook and TB in hand. Signed log and dropped a few trinkets in.
After reading the log by scruffy1 I went back today and checked the logbook. It was slightly damp so I put it in a brand new sealable bag and closed up all the openings before covering the container with foliage again. Should be fine, even though it was raining and the whole wetland area is naturally damp. Rodney.
Found it after a bit of searching. Cool hide, thanks. Note the plastic bag has split and the log book is damp.
After reading the log from Toffeepops about there being two caches here I found time today to investigate. First of all I went to the correct hiding place and checked out the current container - everything was fine. I put in a jeep travel bug as an encouragement to geocachers. Then I branched out into the undergrowth and searched until I found the old missing container lying in the detritus about 10m away in an entirely different alcove!! Have no idea how it got there as it used to be tied to the correct tree before it went missing and got replaced. The cold ontainer was certainly worse for wear and some of the logs recommending maintenance now make sense! Took the old container away to avoid confusion. Rodney.
Whilst finding this our 8yr old son found another 10 metres away on a diff tree. 2 caches for the price of 1! Both with the same name - one is a replacement cache. TFTCs
A quick find on a lovely walk around the reserve. Nice spot, thanks for placing this cache here.
Out on a maintenance ride this morning. Cold, windy, damp day for biking but at least it kept me cool! This cache was perfectly okay. Rodney.
3 finds in one afternoon is too much foe the batteries. Heading home to recharge. tftc Sallies.
Decoy dog wasn't allowed in the wetlands area so had to guard the truck. I enjoyed my walk.
I had done all my jobs for the day, and been out with the walking group around Hagley Park, so decided to hop on my bike and perform maintenance on our caches nearest home. Managed to do eleven of them! everything okay with this one. Rodney.
After having to stop a search on a cache around the road because of people coming to play on a nearby playground, there were no issues locating this cache. Thanks for the hide.
A nice quick find again. Gps had a bit of hissy but all in all a smile was gotten. No tb which was a bit stink. Tftc
Great hide found with the grandies today. Attempted this yesterday but so wet we returned today with our gumboots! TFTC
After a very boggy wander across the grass we found the required spot. TFTC #63
Quickly found once we'd worked out which side of the creek we needed to be on. Took geo coin and TB. No sign of the third TB... TFTC.
This cache was one of my favorites. We also placed a pen in it. I enjoyed it a lot.
Out and about checking up on some of our own local caches this afternoon. As well as getting some exercise on the bike! Everything is in order except for the broken zip - on a brand new pouch too! all pockets were also left undone!!! Left two trackables we picked up during our month away in the North Island. One of them is from Christchurch in England. Rodney
Very nice cache - it was a bit of a surprise when we finally found it! It has suffered a bit due to rain. We had no pen and there wasn't one in the pouch so we couldn't record our visit.
Easy find although the Zip was broken and there was a family of beetles living in the container. Not a very nice surprise.
I love the secludedness of this reserve.

Found during a Sunday stroll; had found the 'What's Charles Worth?' cache over a year ago and that helped. Thanks!
Oh yea, the pencil is no longer in place; we used our own pen...

Nice quick find in a short break in the weather, lucky timing for me this afternoon as some dog training had not long finished, TFTC.

Friday night, and it was our work mid winter Christmas do!!
So went for Pizzas at Winnes... mmm pizza... and yes, there was a bit of geocaching themed conversation... everyone thinks I am a little nuts with this whole thing
And so after I decided it was time to leave seeing as bedtime was coming up soon, one of my workmates decided that he wanted to come along with to see this geocaching thing for himself.
So we stopped at my car to grab GPS and torch, and then headed off into the park.
We wondered around in circles for ages, with not much light, and not being able to see anything!! Bush bashed quite a bit from side to side... luckily it wasn't all crazy rainy weather anymore, but ug boots were not the right footwear choice on my side.
And then I read the bit about the vertical location of the cache. RIIIIIGGGGHT!! I had been looking at the wrong level... now the find was quick! Yeah!!! Oh yeaH!!!

Replaced the container with a brand new one. Put in a new logbook and pencil. Replaced the contents. Removed trackable. Fixed container back in place. Everything now hunky dory! Rodney.
