Have decided to archive this one, as so many negative logs.
Many are searching beyond what the terrain rating suggests and not liking gorse nearby.

Cache found exactly as placed, one step down from the turning circle. No gorse.
Stiting nicely on the pipe.

A not so popular cache site.... Terrain rating is correct and should be used as a guide to cache location.
Disabling while I consider the future of this cache site.

There was a lot of gorse etc here so I think that the terrain rating may require some adjustment, especially as we were unable to locate the cache, can't even blame muggle activity at GZ.
Too much gorse in the way and also a muggle being nosey . Checked co-ords but still to no avail. Terrain rating needs to be bumped up too.
Well that is not exactly correct, we didn't look for it.
On account of something being very dead in the immediate vicinity, which one could detect via ones nostrils very easily.
Another for another day.

We were not sure what to expect with this cache but turned out to be reasonably easy as the container was spotted from up top. Went down to sign log and attempted to conceal the container as best we could. Some great views again from this point. TFTC.
Nice wuick and easy find - although the "one step" mentioned in the description proved to be "one slip/slide/fall on backside". Bank was very slippery, but cache was easy to spot, and I took much more care when replacing it! TFTC!
Took a couple of wrong scrambles down the hill before a final correct scramble! Awesome view. Few sharp and spiky plants are playing guardian for this one though... Tnln tftc. Centuryson from Australia.
Had to come back to this one later in the day as just as we parked several muggles turned up. Second attempt success. Thanks.
A nice day but the ocean fog is making things hazy. Treated the log book to a new zip plastic bag; cache in good condition. A great view, so thank you for bringing us to this spot.
Took a few tries to get this one.
Cache all good. Good view of Manu bay & all the waves.

a bit steep - a bit of activity below - hopefully didn't hear the excited "i found it " yell
Bit of a hunt for this one - the pipe runs along about 1m down the bank, but Master Jacksonz persevered and was rewarded with a find at the south end.
Quick easy find after waiting for another car to enjoy the view and move on. - Cheerz Jumboz
Good parking for the campervan. So we go for the cache. Easy find for us. Thanks for the hint.
Lovely spot to stop and view the waves. The cache had slid down hill abit but we returned it suitable spot. Tftc.
easy find on the way home from raglan. after our day away for our 1st wedding anniversary

Dad beat Mum and I to this one. His first find of the day on my 13th birthday. TFTC
Second try for this one, the GPS took me to the spot easy, last time we had trouble. It was an easy find after we waited for the linesman to leave. Funny how much time you spend trying not to look dodgy while caching huh? Beautiful spot. TFTC.
No slipping down the bank this time, followed the geo trail thru the grass and spotted it

Just as the log said we stopped to look at the great view before checking our GPS and realising that we had arrived at GZ. Picked up GC. TFTC
Started to make my way towards the cache, noticed some slip marks in the clay.......too late there are now more slip marks there, left for now until it dries out a bit more
even after reading previous log we went flat on our backside on steep muddy incline, and unfortunatley broke off large tree branch during the fall. unhappy to say we couldnt find the cache after all that. checked all along the pipe, but gave up after a while, as was so muddy and slippy
Passing by, checked cache, now against the pipe. Added Davy Jones Locker GC
Nice drive along the gravel roads in the campervan. Arrived in cache area and took the "one step only required" and ended up sliding down on my backside. All good fun, but area slippery right now. Soon found cache. SL TFTC
Gumboots or at least tramping boots a must for this one as there is a awful lot of gorse under foot. Jandals not recommended. Tricky find... definately well hidden. TFTF!

Revisted to log for the new username.
Memory is fuzzy, or this one had moved... reckon was the later.

One step down alright. That's one small for a man; one big slide to follow. Fortunately managed to remain right way up.
Intrigued by the house up for sale nearby. Just 6 bedrooms, home theatre and a cool $3.2 million.

Mr Toffee went the wrong way first of all!!! But found it, when we searched a bit more, took a 'walking stick' with us and was VERY useful.
# 30 for us. The Toffeez score again!
Dropped off 'Little Kiwi' TB for a surf!! Hope he has fun like we did today

Found with digitalformula, neoGeneva & Subcide. Thanks Butterfly_lady for another great cache
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 843. Thanks.
A quick we hide, although was kind of surprised to see a Butterfly/Nut cache hidden so near such vegetation Cheers Gav [4649]
Would have been rude not to when we were staying at the accommodation over the road, Solscape. Quick find, cheers!
wonderful view. our 1st w/e away GC'ing and found 14 of 15 we searched for - finally nabbing the big ONE double zero. This was a fairly muggle proof hide - good one - TFTC
Fantastic views from here. Only one muggle around and he was only interested in the surf. Easy find with earthie. Thanks
Had to send Ssmudge to get this cache as it was out of reach for a person with a broken foot....
Easily found however. TFTC

Took a long 10 minutes to find this cache, had to use the cache van to block out the muggles view, once they were gone it was a bit easier to find, trust the GPS!!
Uploaded a pic from further down the road, Is the surf up? Check it out for yourself!!
Took Geocoin,

After reading the previous logs found cache in its new location.
All good though, just a bit of yellow prickle flowers to deal with.
Majestic views from here today so worth the effort.
Cache all safe and hidden.
Out stickers and hackysack and In Necklace and diverman

Surf definitely up. Cache #499. Have to be another day for the big 500. Mrs LP wants to go out for dinner. Great view.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Not quite as close to the pipe as we thought but still easy to find. Not a lot left in it so left some things for kids.
Not sure how we missed this cache on line from last trip over!, on the way to battle Karioi, not as easy as planned! cache now close 2 a meter away from black hose and guarded by some nasty gorse! all dry and happy tho! TFTC Cheers Muzy Man!
It sounds as if the cache has suffered some creep, and is not where first laid... we will check this out next time we are over in the Raglan area...
on they way to do Karioi from the long way, battled with some gorse for a while, maybe need to rethink the whole 100mm from pipe thing as cache was a bit further away than that...or it has been moved. Cheers

It was pouring today during our geocaching jaunt, so I was reluctant to retrieve this one, as the ground seemed too slippery for a sturdy step. SongMonk, however, is all awesomeness and got it with no problems. Thanks for the cache!
This one was a bit tricky to get to. Yes, there's parking, but it's easy to miss. Getting to the cache itself was a bit tricky too because it was raining and the ground was a bit muddy and slippery. But not too much trouble! TFTC!
A calmish day by my standards. Lots of swimmers and surfers.
TFTC - Fantastic view.

Had been first to Manu Bay so already knew the surf WAS up. Sobad got a bit dirty finding this one - Mrs Sobad was sensible enough to take photos so stayed clean. Pencil needed sharpening and we had nothing with us. Left TB Avigeko - took nothing TFTC
beaut views. watch out for bumble bees . petez not very happy.out.- blue lizard travel bug. tftc...
