I think its time to archive this cache, thanks to everyone that visited this one. We hope you enjoyed cracking the puzzle. We will free up the area for new caches.
Was in is the area so picked up wet cache. Will replace the cache soon.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Cache letting in water quite badly. Log book wet. We did what we could to dry it out, but it probably needs looking at.
Will disable this one until I get a chance to go and have a look, thanks for reporting that it needs help.
#100!
Enjoyed the puzzle - solved quite easily! Cache was a fairly quick find too.

At last I get to sign off another Auckland puzzle that I had solved quite some time ago. Nice little bush walk. I wish I had had more time available to seek out the other nearby caches - but due to time constraints I had to limit myself to only signing off 2 Glenfield/Birkenhead puzzle caches during this trip to Auckland. Thanks for the challenge KiwiGary.
Solve puzzle awhile ago but waited for time to do others in area.
Cache is a bit wet - emptied out water and dried as best I could but log book damp
- green whistle
+ elephant clacker

Eureka!! Finally solved a mystery one!! What an amazing place, lived in this area for 40 years and didn't know this was here. Lovely day for a walk. In Metal Pin Badge and calling card Out: Orange Skoobie. SL TFTC.
Enjoyed solving the puzzle some time ago, just waiting for the right time to do a caching burst around here. Nicely hidden cache, on the way to do the others.Cache is in good condition, TNSLLNTFTCACHE!
Chris solved this one before we left the UK and we were pleased to have the opportunity to come and find the cache this evening, prior to attending the 'Cachers of the World Unite' event. A clever puzzle and good location. SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

I don't know... I spent a long while looking for complicated answers to this problem. Then picked it up again, and saw how easy it really was.

The fifth and final for the day with my son and three grandsons on the second caching outing. I had picked this up, puzzled over it and put it down a few times. Then all of a sudden it came to me. No, not something emanating from the seagull.
In: Scooby.
Out: English Two pence. (The grandsons had never seen this coinage)
Cheers for the cache.

Solved this one pretty fast while at work.
Nice walk to the cache. Car park a bit tight though.
Quickish find.
Lost log but left some trinkets but can't remember what.
Off to suburban surprise now for the last as it's getting darker.

After our FTF tour to GC13MWQ, we were close to this cache, whose riddle we finally solved after a helpful hint from Yugeo4 (thanks, guys). Found GZ pretty quickly, but struggled with the exact location, even with the help of the hint. Must have been due to the lack of light (9pm). We finally found it and wanted to walk back on the path we found north of the cache - which lead to a private property - oops. So back into the bush (whack, bash, ouch) and back to our car. This was #9 today and now we can really call it a day.

Easy find, this time. Last time I must have had the co-ords backwards or something as I had me way off into the bush.

Oh the hours I have spent this last week scratching my now very much folically depleted head over this puzzle! Success at last. Nice Puzzle. Signing the log though will have to wait till my next visit North.
Very clever puzzle! Actually solved quite quickly (thank goodness). Like this area, great views too. TFTC
Read Navgulls log and decided to read the cache page. Oh I would never get that I hate puzzels like that. How am I supposed to work out the coordinates with out a knowing what I am supposed to do. Read heading again, read rest of the page again. Hey it could be ....
Success!
Whoohoo! Yipee! uh-huh, uh-huh! w00t! Yeah, baby!
Now, go get it!
Well unfortunately I have no idea when I will be in Auckland next, lets hope it is still active by then.
Thanks for the cache page/puzzel.

Took a couple of minutes to solve. The Geochecker site is a good idea and could save a lot of aimless trips. Nice one.
Now just have to con a trip to Auckland for work.

Last evening The Gull was logging a cache find and this cache showed up as being close. Suddenly there was a flash and the Gull suddenly saw the light. (see photo) Like Zorgon he hadlooked for a far too complicated solution. One minute later the solution was confirmed.
And so The Gull went down to the woods today.
Gulls don't like being under trees but he put on a brave face and set forth for GZ. He got a bit excited nearing GZ and was soon pecking about excitedly. (See photos).
As he stopped back on the track for a photo opportunity a jogging muggle came by and did a very surprised double take. We explained it was all a publicity stunt and the muggle trotted off.
TNLN
Thanks Gary for making this a special and memorable cache for the Gull.

Yah! A visit to the big smoke, stayed overnight following a baby shower for Geocooley, just so we could do this one... loved it.
Great puzzle, so easy, but not so obvious.
A bit of a trampled trail to the final location starting to appear.
Thanks for the fun.

I spent ages working on this one and had looked at the correct sets of three a number of times but was trying to make it much more complicated than necessary. A quiet word from a friend put me on the right track.
Love to know how you managed to design this one Kiwigary. Getting the numbers to work for you like that was very clever!
Thanks

#584. Sorted the coordinates a while ago and only now had a chance to visit the site. Swapped TBs. TFTC.
Solved puzzle yesterday, but looking for it today I ran out steam and time. "I shall return".
Took longer to find the cache, than it did to solve the puzzle. At one point while searching ended up in someones back garden, seems the cache is right on the park boundary.
TFTC and a well worked puzzle, +TB

#303. Puzzle easily solved in a couple of minutes. Finding the cache proved to be a little bit harder. Muggled by geocachers for the second time in two weeks. To rub salt in the wound, Adnshe found the cache before us. Nice to meet up again, swapped Geocoins

I like these sort of puzzles...makes you scratch your head a few times and then go 'o yes'!
Found the way to GZ easily, then as we approached who should we spy but Yugeo4 who was already there with family. Eventually managed to beat him to the goods then had a caching catchup.

12.10pm. Now Mrs.F. does not think Mr.F. to be much of a lateral thinker. He's not good at crossword puzzles and the like. But this time it was different!! Perhaps it was his birthday that generated the spark of inspiration. Who knows. But armed with the confidence only the display of the checking program can generate when it says "SUCCESS" we set out and found with little further difficulty. Little further difficulty is a term used advisably in this case as it is surprising the number of instances of the feature referred to in the hint that exist in a patch of bush. Oh!, and seagulls - we didnt see one!
Exchanged the TB's and geocoins.
TFTC KiwiGary - of course we thought it to be a good one.

Oh, what a sweet puzzle. Wish I was closer to GZ than way down in Hammy-town. Would have loved to get this one...
Well done, KiwiGary for the unique puzzle.

Well, like I said, had the puzzle solved straight away when I got the notification email, but had to wait til the end of the day before I could have a go.
It was dark when I got there but no worries, found it fairly quickly by torch light. It's a nice area, although probably nicer in the daylight
In: 2 x TB's, 1 geocoin and a "For a better world" bracelet from the Rock in Rio music festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
Out: TB and geocoin.
Thanks!
Chris & Vera

Don't know what time the others took but solved within say 2 minutes of reading the cache log.
I used of course my extensive notes from the Geocaching skills day.....start with what you're looking for and work backwards.
Will not visit until the weekend.

Now back to them gold in them thar hills.........

Oh man, 5 minutes after I got the notification email, I had this puzzle solved. Was going to race over straight after work. Sucks to be stuck in an office all day. [B)]
06h30 - Hhmmmmm, yes, ok - drop the G - yes done that -I see, yes, ok - GOT IT!! ( that was team member #2!!)
The hard bit done, I was URGED to do a bit of effort for a possible FTF, for this our 300th find.
10h50 - So after some shopping for a few bits of construction material this morning, did a quick detour to GZ, and was soon in the right spot. No "Gull's" around, only a friendly dog of a passing muggle walker, that slobberd all over my work-boots!!
An easy find in a nice spot!!
- nil
+ TB & Geocoin
TFTC - Gary - nice one!!

The Gull concedes.
He doesn't have a clue.
He allowed 7 upgrades to XP last night and it has taken 4 hours to finally restore internet access only to find this damned puzzle cache. Why did I bother? (see uploaded picture).
I thought you were supposed to just use your GPSr to trot along to some posted co-ordinates?
