Wasn't as happy about hunting around for a cache that wasn't there after such a big weekend.
Pity

Well, we were glad that we stopped here for the amazing views, but if we had known the long list of names we would add our DNF too, Chip and I probably would not have bothered. It was worth it for the views, but I would have liked a smiley face too.
I'd reckon that this one is in need of a check.
I'd reckon that this one is in need of a check.
In 18 months, there has been no find and no owner response to the DNFs and enquiries since April 2011. This one is definitely worthy of bringing to the Reviewer's attention, one would think.
Well this cache was a wonderful and memorable area that we visited on our overnight stay in Mogo. Raspberry vinegar and I came up from ACT with the geohounds and had just taken them to the nearby dog friendly beach and then viewed the GPS for caches in the area and this was the closest. Someone (me) should have checked recent logs and filtered them out before embarking upon this... woops.
Regardless, we left the pooches in the 4wd and set out as it was only 65m away and looked like it was going to be really steep and adjacent to the cliff. Once we got out of the car we took in the scene, only to be rewarded with a POD of whales travelling south down the coast. Originally we thoguht we were watchnig only one whale, and then it became apparent there were probably 3 we could see. flippers in air, tails flailing about, jumping, you name it.
Afterwards, only a cursory look for the cache.Seriously 1.5 1.5 where the coordinates place you? Hmmm.... Anyway, no sign of the cache and no inclination to peer over the side to check for its demise.
Thanks for bringing us to the spot - amazing scene!

Cache? What cache?!
Suggest the owner confirms its disappearance. I'd have gladly replaced it for you had I done my homework beforehand, as it is a really worthwhile spot... no finds in FOREVER... (perhaps a slight exaggeration, but you get the drift.... or maybe the cache did...)

Great spot, but sadly no cache located to day. Maybe with all the DNF the CO could gave a look to see if it's still there, it's been a while since its been seen. Thanks. Will be keeping our eye on this, would love a smiley
This should be called the "Scariest Cache" as I was perched right on the edge and I am not too good with heights. Ladybug stayed in the car, maybe that was wise. Despite my "living on the edge" I was unsuccessful however sort of enjoyed the challenge. Then looking back it has had some very experienced geocachers fail to find it and a great string of DNFs. Maybe it needs a look?
Shame, you've got to add me to the list too, great peaceful area and garden though.
Thanks anyway handles 6

Well this one beat us even though we looked and looked for about 20 minutes, there were lots of places that it could have been but nothing. It was a bit eery being so close to the cliff edge. This was a place we would never known have existed except for geocaching. Thanks for bringing us here even if we didn't find it.
My mobile GPS (which has been exact up until this cache) was sending us over the edge of the cliff. We tried looking around undr the bushes but no find. Will try this one again soon.
Gathering dusk and it didn't reveal itself right away so we chose to enjoy the view and leave it for another day. Thanks for leading us here. Cheers... Gaztek
Logging a DNF on this one.
Its a lovely view from here and we found the GZ easily but then got quite scared about the strength of the cliff edge and how far we should be looking. Had plenty of other caches planned for today, so only spent about 10 minutes looking.
Definitely not one for the geokids.

What a cool place. Enjoyed this one. Nearly went to wrong place though- lucky husbands phone was with telstra! Thanks
We rocked up close to GZ and wondered where the GPS was pointing, but soon all was revealed - what a neat place for a picnic or just the opportunity to take in the views. Cache seems likely to be in a relativley muggle-shy location as well, nice job in placing it here.

Loved this great little possie! Lovely views and a great little garden hide away. TFTC.
loved this spot...could have sat here all day, but alas there are numerous other wonderful caches to find your area, so we took lots of pictures and dragged ourselves back to the car for the remainder of our journey today...T TB Orange County Choppers (Dragon)....TFTC
Much searching, lots of scratches, attacked by mozzies and almost ready to give up before The Stormcatchers poked the cache and there was much rejoicing.
First group geocaching! We are absolutely covered in mosquito bites and complaining of severe itchiness but have emerged victorious! We searched and searched, got lots of scratches, our first time player was starting to think we'd made the whole thing up and we peeked over clifftops wary of the massive fall. We were ready to give up except for Miss stormcatcher who kept attacking in a rage because if this one was a DNF she was ready to retire from the game...and she found it:P
Group geocache with the_proton and shinydragon . With the light fading and everyone covered in mosquitos we nearly had to give up. In a last effort made one more determined search by torch light and found the cache in a location all 5 of us had looked multiple times. TFTC
What a lovely little place. Found cache easily and then stood back and enjoyed the views.

Geocache take us places we normally don't go to and this is one of those places great find and view cheers
Lovely secret garden spot. Hunted around for a while. Funny how obvious the cache spot is after you find it! Have done a few recently with Ant my brother in law.
Our Last cache for 2010. Found after a walk around a couple of headlands, mainly because it has been a nemesis cache for my sister whom we are visiting. Unfortunately she wasn't with us so still has the task ahead!!!!

A very secret garden indeed! I don't know how anyone would find it in the first place. Beware of cliff edge. Not recommended after dark unless you first check it out in daylight. Found quickly on second visit after i went away to check some details on how to get to gz. Great views here. TFTC and thanks to the people who look after the secret garden.
Back in the area briefly with Ian after our travels through Victoria, NSW and ACT, and after swimming nearby had been curtailed by a bluebottle jellyfish sting. Good job I had Ian with me this time as he went straight to the cache! TFTC.

Had to try this one as I was staying with my cousin who lives only 330m away. She got REALLY panicky watching me so I agreed to go no further!

What fantastic scenery Thank you for taking us there. We were unable to find the cache - too near the edge for us. Leave it for another day.
The sea was rough, grey and pounding. The rain stopped just long enough for us to grab this cache which was in a spectacular spot but 1 we were pleased to leave as we are not keen on heights. Thanks.
What a great spot/great views, one I havn't been to before. Deffinetly don't let the kids near this one. SLTN
Nice spot, right on the edge. Only thing is to search too close to the edge, which may be a bit risky for the inexperienced. Good sunshine, enjoyed the views and the ocean. with lady_YY, The Arkaroo.
A nice quick find... I've never been caching this close to the edge of a cliff before. Quite a view, but then again there's nothing but great views in this part of the world.
Thanks for the cache Handles 6.

I have been both impressed and amazed by all the lookouts and views available in this area, and this is another one !
The coordinates were spot on and the cache well hidden. [^]

All I can say here is Finally!
We must have visited this spot about 4 times without success but today as it goes the cache was in hand in a jiffy.
The next door neighbour came out with his dogs but I was so quick didn't seem to arouse any suspicion.
Great views from here. TFTC!

Cache run on the way from Auckland to the Megga Event in Wagga. Thanks for sharing the secret with us T4TC.
An interesting spot hard up against the cliffs.
A spot you'd only ever come too because of caching.
Thanks for bringing us here.
The kids all had fun trading swaps and we took a lot of photos.
We enjoyed the view and the short walk.
Found with puddle jumpers and fly high fly far.

Cool view - most definately owed to the cache however we kept eagle eyes on the kids due to the danger of the cliff.

Someone should tell these clifftop dwelling residents that it's no use trying to hide these delightful clifftop parks from cachers
Why should they have the views all to themselves
This view was definitely viewable and I took a couple of happy snaps for the album.
Meantime there was a cache waiting quietly for me to find it.
My initial forays along the cliff tops were, not surprisingly, unsuccessful
So I moved inland a few feet and in a less death defying location uncovered the cache.

Found on a nice sunny, but windy day. Was worried about going over the edge...luckily cache was in a nice sheltered spot. Thanks.
Found this one on a caching road trip around the South Coast. The wind had really picked up this afternoon so there were plenty of white caps on the waves. A very quaint little area and we were fascinated by the house nearby with a tennis court on the roof of their garage. Once we got near to GZ the wind was so strong we were nearly getting blown away. Located the cache and were glad we had a bit of shelter from the undergrowth. Signed the log and took fcvc repti TB. TFTC
GeoJim and I went for a nice walk along the cliffs and found this cache. Nicely tucked away that we overlooked it at first. However, a second pass and I spotted the telltale signs. Signed log and left a TB Lizard, TN. TFTC
Not somewhere I would have found on my own. Nice little spot. What is it with the local caches and the edge of these cliffs?
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Originally had a DNF on this back in Dec 07 just after I started caching. Today was a different story as I made my way to GZ and made a quick find. Fantastic views from the area........and yep, it's close to the edge.
Grabbe a coin to move back to Canberra.
Thanks Handles 6

Had a good look for this one but couldn't find it. Will be interested to see if it is still there!
Found at 1110. Great view from here, dropped of Blue Piggy bank Geocoin. Thanks for showing us this place.
I was spending my weekend 200m from GZ, and took some friends up to show them what geocaching was all about.

What a great little spot with fantastic views. We didn't find any geocoins in the cache container but we did find Bruce the Shark TB hanging on a tree branch a little distance away - his tag, chain and connection ring are very corroded - we cleaned him up as best we could and have taken him to another seaside cache with Sea Wolf TB - another Bruce the shark - for company.
Perhaps the next groups of geocachers could scour the ground in case the coin is lurking in the grass nearby
Thanks for bringing us here TNleft small car

Found the cache on a lazy Saturday afternoon at the coast. Neighbours nearby kept an eye on me as I strolled down to the headland. Luckily I had my camera on me so went about taking some shots until they disappeared inside.

We were watched by muggles in the nearby house as we wandered around the little garden in the drizzle. The bushes gave us some shelter from both their gazes and the rain. TFTC

Was visiting my friend Frank at his house at Malua Bay, with Rhys, and needing to drop off a travel bug or two, went for this one. Nice walk around the cliff top, with spectacular views. Took a bit of finding once we were there, as i was too eager to look over the cliff edge
Got it in the end, and deposited trackables.

#115 - Nice easy find. Spectacular views. Normally I just drive straight down the highway! TNLN TFTC.
A spectacular spot, and a nice easy find on our way north. In our case it was the geo-teen who found this, all too fearless near the edge of high places. Thanks Handles.
Found on the way home from a nice coastal holiday.
After parking next to the tennis court with the best view in town we walked around a little before we found the way through. Upon arriving at GZ it took about 5 minutes to locate the cache, which we did without anyone slipping over the edge! Quite well hidden I might add, a nifty little spot there. Great views too, I love these 270° lookouts.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.
