I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi willbuild
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Looked all over the place but no luck! We live in the area so can come back if it definitely has not been muggled.
I was pretty much on the verge of giving up having spent way too much time here already when I checked back through previous logs and found out I was looking for a totally different container so the cache page needs up dating as does the terrain. Had to use a tool to get it, then it was a matter of putting it back
Day 2 of my week long road trip of geocaching, camping and seeing a few bands. Today I left Wanganui early(ish) headed for the Dickey Flat campsite and one of the remaining old school caches. For the first time I am using the cachetur.no website and app to plan out my caching, and it's proving to be a handy wee tool.
Having read up on this one before coming here I knew what to expect, but at 6'5" figured I'd be ok with the reach up bit. I spent some time scanning and feeling my way around and was getting close to giving up when finall6i spotted a wee something that just didn't quiet look right. Even for me it was a stretch, but sure enough it was what I wanted. Then, cache in hand I was about to wander out to the steps to sit and extract the log when I glanced down and spotted a traditional nano container in the ground. Two for the price of one! Both had log paper in then, the smaller (traditional) was full but managed to squeeze my name in. Signed the other room and popped both back where I'd found the first one. Strange, but true! TFTC

Good thing my 13 year old son is still light enough to lift. The container is not a key holder to assist others. It is magnetic. TFTC
North Island Campervan trip Day 4
After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.
This would be a great chance for me to seek out some targeted caches such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.
I had just picked up the campervan and my intention was to make my way over to the Coromandel and end up in Whitianga for the night. I was looking forward to the journey as this is not a route I have traveled often, and never since discovering Geocaching! For this part of my journey, I was just looking for simple park 'n' grabs, not too far off my route, and this one seemed to fit the bill.
I was able to park close to this one, and with no muggles around I was able to have a pretty good search, but after about 15 minutes I had to call it quits.

Heading back from a family trip to Tauranga combined with some business. Decided to stop here and stretch the legs... and find a cache as well. Unfortunately, we had no luck today after about 5-10 minutes searching. We will be back another day and have another go.
Nice and easy here after the nearby Virtual. Got a feeling we actually found this when we fist visited many years ago but once the loitering schoolboys had moved on all was good here.
A road trip with my daughter today. She wanted to go to Tauranga, and I was on leave for the most part of this week so this was a mutually enjoyed visit to the BOP for the first time in a few years. We left at just after 6 to beat the traffic and after a long hold-up at Maccas we were soon on our way. A stop off in Paeroa on the way to the Mount (which was unexpectedly, and frustratingly, closed) and then a few TMGTs and the Waihi mine loop walk and all was good. Back in good time and late enough to avoid the traffic snarl ups.

Could see an 'obvious hide', but we were not dressed right today to attempt this one.
Took a little while but was a great find. Love this spot and always love a wee climb. With DCParkour and Ryder. Tftc!
After the nearby vituel together with Panne Koppa and Mini_JayJay we found this good hide here.

Thought I should grab this seen as I was nearby doing the virtual. Left pen in car sorry. Photo evidence
Stopped to do a nearby virtual cache today and this one was too close to leave behind. Found after a short hunt. TFTC
We stopped in Paeroa for a refreshment break. No prizes for guessing what my choice of beverage was. This cache was close by so I excused myself for a visit. It was a quick find even though the container does not match the information in the cache description.
This took a few minutes. FF65 and I were walking in circles and I finally dragged out my TOTT and after that it was a quick find. Thanks for the fun one. I had my first taste of The World Famous today at lunch.....not bad at all!
Found it on the floor by chance. Had trouble opening as I guess it had been walked on etc.
Log full. Picture taken,
Replaced at gz.

Quick easy find even though I was reaching blind. Good coordinates. I hope just a photo is OK as the paper log is tiny and I didn't want to fill it up. Nice to stop and stretch on our way past. Thanks for the cache.
Heading south for the weekend with Merlot58 we stopped to collect this one. Needed to have long arms to reach this one. Managed to extract the log, but our pen would not write on the paper so we couldn't add our name to the log.
Excellent camouflage. Couldn't sign it because we couldn't get the paper out! TFTC
Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Quickly found! Enjoy these very well camo caches but not the nano paper. Log was difficult to tell if it's full as it looks like it's been dipped in ink and doesn't work well with our pen. Tftc.
Was on my way to meet up with a group of cachers to hike Mt Te Aroha this morning, so of course, I had to leave extra early and find caches along the way. Made the decision to detour through Paeroa and visit the giant L&P Bottle.
One I realised that the cache type had changed I quickly spotted the hide. Very clever.

The bridge from different view looks very old and need some work to be done I guess. Found it as per hint. TFTC
I was surprised by a quick find of what could have been a difficult hide.
Log book is full and very difficult to sign due to its glossy nature.

Out for a morning stroll, after staying at a hotel just down the road. Had to come back twice because I missed it the first time... Reading the previous logs helps alot!!! Don't know how I missed it the first time once you see it. Apparently the log book was full so didn't bother remove from the thinf. TFTC
I WANTED TO STOP.. BUT MY GEO COLLEG DROVE PAST.. AS WE HAD TO BE AT CAMPSIDE BEFORE 8PM..BUT I WILL TRY ON MY WAY BACK TO AUCKLAND HOPEFULLY.. FROM SWISS GUY
The cache description confused us a bit as this is no longer a magnetic key holder but a previous log helped us make a quick find.
As previous finders have said, the log is full.

Don't know how many times I have seen this huge bottle! Been here a heap of times. First time today though to get a cache nearby! Wandered down to where I thought the cache might be and sure enough I wasn't wrong, bit of a stretch to reach it but I knew this had to be the cache. Time for new paper C.O! Maintenance run needed.
Found while visiting the l&p bottle. Miss 7 got her first taste too. And a cache! Great trip tftc
Fun find. Hint was helpful. Might need to replace log as others find it hard to write small.
Haven't been here for a while. Great to see it still draws the tourists in. SL TFTC.
The Central North Island, Day 1: Auckland - Coromandel
Today we headed out for our last great adventure in New Zealand, which was to cover The Central North Island, as far down as Ruapehu. We set off from Auckland on an overcast day, and was met with rain for the better part of the morning and afternoon. That still didn’t stop me from caching, as I had been well-prepared with a raincoat and picked up only the easier ones. As the rain cleared up, there was a nice stiff breeze that accompanied me in my hunts along the Thames Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. A relatively good, if somewhat damp day, overall.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Can’t pass by Paeroa without visiting its most famous attraction. Took the photos with the bottle while drinking some L&P of course, and headed off to find the cache. No one to bother me at GZ, so finding it was no issue. TFTC!

I've been here for 2months and never got the time to collect this cach but to day was the day, nice to read up about l&P. THE LOG IS FULL. TFTC
Making our way back home after spending a lovely afternoon walking around karangahake and decided to stop off here to make our picture with the huge l&p bottle after trying it for our firat time today so decided to come and fins this nicely hidden cache. As others have said the shinyness gave it a way a little.
Stands out like a sore thumb if you know what you're looking for, due to excessive shineyness of the container. Cute though.
Couldn't sign as couldn't get logsheet out. Read a previous log saying it was full anyway.
It was a good excuse to stop and explore a site that I have driven past hundreds of times.

School holiday trip to Auckland/Coromandel with the family. After a couple nights at Hot Water, a few at Tauranga, time to head for Miranda for our last night before flying home to Christchurch. Stopped off to grab some supplies for the night and also the obligatory photo & L&P. Cheers.
No longer a key holder as stated in the description, much smaller.
Had trouble writing on the waxy paper but managed to leave the mark of TT

Great little cache very hard to get out and sign could make it it a lot bigger as lots of things around to hide tftc
Find #2851. Biked the HRT from Waihi to Paeroa return while on a winter holiday. This the first find of the day, easy to spot, harder to extract to sign. SL TFTC
We were in Paeroa to have a look around and suss out likely properties as we're thinking of moving here. Naturally, a courtesy visit to the big bottle was required and it would have been rude of us ignore this cache while there. Granddaughters Katie and Charlie accompanied us to GZ and Charlie - who isn't technically a cacher - spotted the cache straight away despite its disguise. We think the girl's got natural talent! The log book is full and needs replacing but we managed to squeeze our initials on a blank bit where a previous signature has rubbed off. TFTC - hopefully more smile faces to come for us in this area in the near future.
I can't believe I would have missed that cache the other times I've been there. Perhaps this moves around a bit? Definitely easy to spot today as it stood out from its surroundings. I put it back exactly where it was, but maybe the co wants to double check on it's intended placement - and a new log would probably be helpful. Getting this one was a relief!
4th time lucky? Definitely a FFS moment when we found it - was obvious and not sure how we missed that... We'd gone past Paeroa 3 times in the last year or so and looked each time - was very frustrating! Glad that we've finally found it. Tftc
Gevonden!
Back on the road again for another international trip. This time to Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Like our previous trips we focussed on old caches, high favorites, rare cache types and pretty locations.
Most of the trip was together with Plaguerider, Zanna and FLtravelers, but some of it I did solo.
Logs were signed as DATT (Do All The Things) and if there were answers, we typically sent them as a group.
Thanks for maintaining the caches for us.

**Trip log:**
Found during Team DATT's (Do All The Things) annual international caching trip consisting of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5 and myself. Africa kicked it all off back in 2016, with a follow up European tour last year. I tried to pitch Asia but the pull of the Great Ocean Road and completing our 6th continent was too strong, and we landed on week long road trips through both Australia and New Zealand. Before meeting the team in Sydney though, I was able to schedule some layovers in Asia (Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore), so in the end I got a bit of everything. =)
**New Zealand Day 9 - Auckland -> Tauranga:**
Our first full day in the country. We took our time driving down to Tauranga, grabbing some target caches around Auckland while enjoying the awesome views of the city. We stopped at a beautiful waterfall along the way and got to our Airbnb at the base of Mount Maunganui by early afternoon. We spent the rest of the day exploring the area on foot.
**Cache Log:**
We thought this was a giant famous beer until we Googled it. Hahahaha.

We’re on our annual international geocaching trip as Team DATT (Do All The Things) comprised of FLtravelers, PlagueRider, waterfan5, and zanna. This year we chose to explore Australia and New Zealand. Zanna and I decided to do a two-day stopover in Beijing, a three-day stopover in Bangkok, and a 12-hour layover in Singapore on our way to meet up with the rest of the team in Sydney.
Once we got the Team back together, we made a “bee-line” to Lane Cove and various caches around Sydney. Then we headed down the coast on A1. After visiting Wasp Head, we headed up through Canberra and down M31 to Melbourne, after a webcam stop on Mount Buller.
We had a great time in Melbourne, which is my favorite city in Australia so far, then onto the Great Ocean Road, the highlight of Australia for this trip. After a couple days (not nearly enough) we left the ocean road and headed up A6 towards Victor Harbor (webcam) and Adelaide (webcams) for our flight to Auckland. Seems we found every webcam in Australia.
After a short week in Australia, we flew into Auckland and continued with our explorations in New Zealand. We drove over to Tauranga, and then down to Rotorua and Taupo, enjoying the thermal features. We headed down 5 to Napier, with stops at a couple of waterfalls, and then down to Wellington to catch the ferry to the South Island.
We spent the night in Picton, and then over to the awesome west coast, before crossing over Arthur’s Pass on our way to Christchurch for flights home.
We targeted old caches, highly favorited caches, earthcaches, virtuals, and of course webcam caches, and anything else that got our interest along the way. Logs were signed DATT. Answers, where required, were sent by one of the team members. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our trip with this cache. Great spot.

Fun hide, thanks. Could probably do with a new logbook as the current one is full and very hard to write on.
This time! Had the area to myself and found after a reach. TFTC!

Unfortunately just as I got there so did a group of young kids. They settled in for the afternoon so I had to forgo the hunt sadly. Next time!
Our last find for today, time to beat the traffic back so wandered across to GZ to see where the cache might be. In the warm, streaming sunshine all seems benign here but there is enough evidence that I might not fancy this one late at night, unless the locals are uncharacteristically happy to share their woodstocks.
Anyway, looked around and was thwarted for a bit until I channeled my inner mrs tuolei and ignored the description and hint. Good call - cache is not a magnetic keyholder...unless keys have become much tinier than I thought. Got there in the end, all good here, although as noted the log really does need changing and I didn't have a suitable replacement log with me.
Thanks for the cache.

This was not where we expected it to be - in fact 50m from there. But it was where the GPS said it would be. As others have said, the log is full and we had to write our name on top of another logger's smudged log.
Thanks.
Thanks.
