Hunted what looked like some obvious spots, but failed to see any indication. Might be gone?
Didn't find is a big hole with bricks in it thing it may be lost in there maybe come check to see if it still there
Looked round, couldn't see it
Note that the "garden beds" have resently had a tidy, so high probability of cache muggled.

On limited time due to work commitments, but hunted for a good 10 minutes. Found much litter but no cache
Too tricky for myself and the kids today. Will need to bring Mr Cho as he seems to be a lucky charm!
Another history lesson cache. The best way to grab a cache is to learn something whilst you are doing it. Absolutely no one around at 5.10pm so the hunt was made easier.
Thanks for the cache and the history lesson

Very unsuccessful caching day so far, 2/2 dnf's It was daylight and I looked around as much as I could but no cache today. Beautiful tree though!
Great old tree but hunting at night and didn't want to reach too far in to dark holes. Will try again with a bit more light.
Found my first cache today! I could see the location from my hotel room. Quiet place to search, so no problem. Lot's of hiding places, but no problem to find it.
Had to come all the way from Holland to search for this one . Going after no. 2 now.

Thanks Bundyrumandcoke.

A quick walk to my hotel after work took me past this site, and I couldn't resist a look ... even in the dark! Nice quick find. TFTC.
I drive past this cache every day and have finally pulled my finger out to find it. Found quickly by a first time geocacher we brought along. Great to see the expression of someone who found their first cache!
Thanks for the cache bundy!

2nd time around seems to be the way we roll. We were sidetracked the first time on how deep to go. Second time around saw us in the right spot. A nice hide. TFTC
I did a few circles of the tree looking to "dig deep" & those spots were questionable. Finally found in a much less questionable section

Found on the great Eclipse Trip of 2012 with Freddo. Gotta love that sound of plastic.
A day of caching from Koumala to Boyne Island. A road trip with a chance to stretch the legs is a good thing.
Thanks to Bundyrumandcoke and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Some interesting read to be had with this find. TNLN SL TFTC.
Nice! Stayed overnight in Gladstone and was able to grab a few. This was one. Was hoping I did not get bitten by some strange Australian spider as I poked around. Thanks!!

Took a little bit to find as there were a few eyes around but eventually got it, Nice to read about the area. TFTC-TNLN
We've given this a favourite because the tree is so beautiful. We had quite a conversation with the groundsman and his wife about travelling. They are interested in coming to Tasmania and want to walk the Overland Track. We told them to take plenty of warm clothing, food and shelter as the day can change from sunny to rain in minutes. Many have perished there because they weren't prepared. Now, after that little lecture back to the cache. J had the cache in hand and it was a matter of returning it with the muggles present. Managed to do so without too much trouble. SL. TFTC
Found by Geo grand-daughter Annie during major muggle period. Took extream stealth to return cache un-noticed! TFTC Left TB for next geocachers.
Our glorious caching day around Gladstone today..took a while before Ms Bushies2 found it. Thanks Bundyrumandcoke.
12th for the day. First attempt was a little wet, so we returned to claim the cache once the weather had cleared up.

Found on our trip to Gladstone for the Ulysses Odyssey. It was a very cold and raining heavily all day - and still we geocached! Oh Heavens! Another Fig Tree! We may be here all day by the size of it. What a magnificent specimen. Must have been my day as it took no time at all. Thanks for bringing us to so many great places Bundyrumandcoke! TNLN TFTC.
Heh - got distracted by the pretty green tree frog whilst Moneydork found the cache Cheers Gav [8518]
5th find for the day by me and Mrs Kevlyn. Was pretty easy. Mr Kevlyn, Geo Teenager and Geo Midget sat in the car and waited. Left keyring. TFTC
Our 5085th overall find.
I love these old figs and there is a much more impressive version in Brissy that takes ages to find the cache on it. My heart sank when we pulled up but Shell had her hand on the cache in 15 seconds. Some times your just lucky!
Thanks to Bundyrumandcoke for the cache.

A leisurely evening stroll and a hunt along the geotrail led to a quick find. These caches can be hard to locate but today we were fortunate to find it straight away. TFTC.
Found this wonderful tree late in the wet day and or course with no mozzie repellent on us. Fed a few mozzies until Bill with the help of the Dolphin torch grabbed the cache.Said 'Hello" to the Breast Cancer TB that we had dropped into Keithnhazel's Rattray Park cache months ago, glad to see it has moved on at last.SL TFTC Took keyring, left bracelet.
Gps didn't like the big beautiful tree but somehow the geowife went streight to the cache, signed log and replaced, Dropped of Breast Cancer TB.
Luck was actually working with me today, as the cache was within a foot of where I started my search, and the only muggles were a pair of swimmer-clad pudgy kids wandering disconsolately along the road opposite. And I agree; the loss of such a beautiful residence to match the beautiful tree is regrettable. TFTC! ='.'=
Parked the car appropriately to block our search from the kids across the road and found the cache pretty quickly. Certainly is a great tree. TFTC
I love these history caches - so much has changed since this tree was planted. It's a shame to see that the magnificent residence has long disappeared, it would have been great if it could have remained.
Impressive tree. But we didn't really like the hide ( muggles, spiders, ants, pee, ... )
Best regards,
ligi & chilifarmer

Found on my first day caching in this city. I also was concerned that the hunt would be harder than it actually was. I also had to turn a sprinkler a tad that was spraying the wrong way and in fact a bad way for me! Thanks to Bundyrumandcoke.
Found very early in the morning. An amazing tree and great to see this piece of heritage in Gladstone. Heading off to Heron Island for a few days...it's a hard life! Dropped off a megaScotland 2010 keyring.TFTC.GT.

In Aussie doing a spot of caching. Today its Gladstone's turn. Nice easy find. Cool tree. TFTC.
I had a good read of the history of the tree then retrieved the cache. Unfortunately I disturbed a nest of ants while doing so. What they lacked in size they made up for in numbers - but didn't bite thank goodness. I got the cache opened and signed the log with ants everywhere. When it was time to close the cache, ants were all through and in it. I had no choice but to close it with some ants inside (with apologies to the next finder, and the ants). For the ants sake I hope someone else finds the cache soon! TFTC Bundyrum&coke.
