Since the owner of the cache hasn't contacted me, I'm reluctantly archiving this cache. If the owner wants to reinstate this cache, they should contact the reviewer that first published the cache.
[I decided to try for this one before reading the logs of others. I also believe I was in the right spot and managed to get a good look at the most likely spot.] On top of the concrete support beam. [I also checked other likely spots around but I decided it was no longer there before moving on.]
Even though Dak's log was a no find I thought I would have a look as I had to cross the bridge a few times today for other caches. Found the evidence as described and also a no find. GZ seems to get a lot of human traffic, I wouldn't be suprised if it'S disappeared for good. Recommend a recon. Thanks for the chance. ZZ7
Second DNF for the day. Snuva and I spent considerable time here, to no avail. We initially looked in the usual places, but when that proved fruitless we decrypted the hint. Then it became clear where the cache was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. We tried several ways to get a better look at the hiding place (best not to go into them here ), but in the end, we decided that the cache was missing. I'll put a watch on the cache to see if someone else has better luck.
1:09 pm We looked and looked, read the hint, found one of the references, wondered if it could be ________, spent lots of time looking there, dak tried phoning pigs while female slave became frustrated she didn't have kingshill's number on her - all to no avail. At least dak got to bleed a bit more!
Boy was it wet this morning..got satched just getting to cache.Retrieved easily once spotted.Old abutments still in top order...testament to the quality of work back in early days.TNLNSL TFTC Cheers Nodemoton.
[Huzzah! Suces...Succes...suc...I found it! I remember my GPS telling me I was there when going over a bridge. So I went to the bridge I remembered when riding back from my girlfriends house...arr. So I got to the bridge I remembered, partway up Procters Road (shut up all you who know my story with Procters) and, woe and behold, I was 1.68km away! Arr, tradgedy! So I rode back, where my GPS told me. Back, past the turnoff to Kingston, and went up, turned starbord at the golf club, and went down that road, and then, I found the spot...the bridge I rode over to get to Proctors Road. After that, I got severly prickled, arr, maybe thongs weren't the best thing to've rode in. I nearly rode back, when I started putting clues I'd heard together.] I knew it was a small chest, from a comment Swampy made: 'It's probably small enough for you to get away with it'. Arr. I also remember Captain Nod saying 'When you get there, look up! Look up!'. [However, I'd forgotten about the edge radio stickers, so I only noticed the one on the cache when I saw this thing looking at me, arr, arr, arr. And also: Arr. TNLNSL TFTC Captain Nod! I only suffered scratches, and one wet foot when I stepped in the wrong place...was going to leave '8 ball' bug, but the cache didn't meet the prefured requirements...
and now for backlog on Procters Road:
I am currently studying year 12 at Hobart College. Last year (do the maths, year 11) I missed the bus home (Blackmans Bay) and decided to walk home. Rather than travel down the outlet, I decided to take the scenic route. I knew that Proctors Road came out at the bottom of the outlet, and also at the top. Little did I know that there was a Proctor Road and an Old Proctors Road. A few hour later, a walk that should've gotten me home and warm and out for tea in half the time, at the most, I wound up in Ferntree. Instead of walking down the hill, I ended up going up the mountain...
Pirte log of The Shadow of Darkness, 25/02/07 complete.]

Though kiddies aren't recommended, we brought ours along anyway. A good thing too. While Sog and Paulus wasted time discussing ways and means of heaving our heavy selves, 5yo cacherboy, in that lateral thinking wisdom kids have, gave us the obvious solution. We were able to use him to great effect.
(Some of the cache's contents might not lay entirely within cache placement guidelines. And I'll be surprised if this one doesn't get muggled)
TNLN.
Were not bothered by any dark forces at all.
Thanks Nodemoton.

Sent senor el golco ahead through the grass and prickles as he was wearing the Blunnies and the area had a snakey feel to it.
Found cache, found a way of retrieving it that wouldn't require subsequent medical attention then TNLNSL.
Took Suncatcher geocoin and will drop it somewhere sunnier.
Dropped Arrow the frog TB in and out of cache. He saw ducks and geese paddling up the river AND is sure he heard an Eastern Banjo Frog
Thanks for this one Nodemoton, an interesting spot.

Was heading down to do the Tinderbox loop and noticed a couple new ones in the area so thought I should stop on my way. Interesting choice for a cache location! TNLNSL, thanks.
